Firstly, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and providing further information regarding your order, as requested.
We emailed you the morning after your order was placed (12th January) to let you know that the item you had ordered was delayed due to production issues. The lead time given for the order was 3-4 weeks from this date.
We asked how you wish to proceed before processing the order and we received a response on the same day in which you agreed to wait.
I can then see a further email was sent to let you know that our account manager at our supplier had been in contact to say the shipment was delayed slightly further than originally anticipated, as they were awaiting the shipment to clear customs as this was arriving in from France.
This shipment arrived in shortly after this email was sent to you and the order has been fulfilled.
However, we would like to offer our sincerest apologies that we have not met your expectations on this occasion.
If you require anything in future, please don't hesitate to get in touch before placing an order as we would like to offer a gesture of goodwill to apologise for the experience.

Lamp as Christmas present
I ordered some lamps as a Christmas present mid December 23 and they still haven’t arrived! First email was ignored. When I got through on the phone shipment was promised by the end of the week. That was 3 weeks ago. Sent another email, no response (again). Can’t get through on the phone now. Is this company a scam? Have they gone bust? I wouldn’t recommend Kings and Queens at all!

Easy to order on line. Quick delivery. Replacement steels work really well. Didn’t realise how blunt our knives had become. The knives are now a joy to use. Like that I could get replacement parts so didn’t have to buy new sharpener. Environmentally friendly.

Delay due to not in stock and not notified until after payment
I put in an order which I only found out was not in stock until after I had paid for it.
However the company responded to my emails and reassured me the order would be with me in 7 to 10days. I was sceptical, particularly after then reading these reviews. I phoned after a week to be told the delivery had arrived and indeed it was sent out to me promptly, and I received it by the 10days. However I would have preferred knowing they didn't have my order in stock in the first place as it is a birthday present and would have missed the date had I not been organised in advance.
