I didn't have anyone who I could speak to or get advice from on how to get help, or even who to contact about pension benefits. It was something I've thought about even before I retired. A lot of people I know felt the same. Having someone I could speak to about help with pension benefits is the most important thing I believe. When I got the email from Iceland I wasn't really paying attention, I thought it was another money saver in store. After reading it properly I hoped this was maybe a chance for me to ask someone who knew and who could help me. I still now, even after having my claims being successful fund it hard to believe. Attendance Allowance was something I'd never heard of, through Kinly I was awarded £114 a week. Money worries & the stress that goes with it just disappeared for me.
