Horrible quality and performance. Not so user frienly support

Short version:
Hardware: 7 years old L5640 Xeons (on rootservers/VPS). Received the server having tons of I/O-errors - sluggish as h*ll. Reason - faulty SAS-drive, repair time: 72 hours! (Wave the TOS!)

Connectivity: 10GBPS - Shared. Didn't get any higher results than 900Mbps on any location (tested 10 different locations inside Germany - universities and different hosts - even the 10Gbe hosts). Results varied between 2Mbps - 900Mbps.

Support: Overcocky one man team, aka "I know it all, you're wrong".

Conclusion: Paying for 15€ for 10Gbps VPS having 8GB Ram aint much. However, as I wasn't getting any faster than 900Mbps and received old and faulty hardware, there's a bunch of 1Gbps VPS's for higher quality. Also hiding the details of the hardware used on VPS's is kinda jerky. Knowing (I know, should've asked) that they'd be using this old CPU's, I would've taken the deal. The CPU is ~2,2GHz.

Long Story: I received the server on 23.1.2017 and at the beginning it felt sluggish. SSH-shell was lagging while typing and even the apt-get update took long time. At the next day I sent a ticket concerning the I/O-issue. I also pointed out, that they're running servers on 7 year old hardware (L5640 Xeons) and I wanted them to make sure nothing was broken. I also pointed out, that this setup is sluggish and slow.

He/they told, that one of the SAS-drives was broken and it will be changed _tomorrow_. That's unacceptable on a rootserver.

Support (he) answered and argued that the L5640 Xeon is as fast as new E3-E5's and wanted me to clarify what I meant by calling L5640 Xeon's slow. At the end he mentioned "As you only pay 15€, it`s quite a reasonable pricing for the offer including 10G Shared Connectivity and our DDoS Protection. "

I answered him and told I based my argument on facts and benchmarking results, but he said "You shouldn't compare higher frequency CPU's to this one." Ok?

I ended the discussion stating, that we're having so different aspects about quality and speed, so just delete the account and my services.

Lost 15€, but it's ok - at least the headaches are gone.

Low quality, very unstable.

I bought one vServer from this company. I tried to install some webservices on it, and changing some configurations, but nothing works. I created one ticket and told them about the issues, they went back to me, and told me to send some MTR records, which make no senses, since the whole configuration is messing up, when i try do so some changes and restarting the vServer, nothing is changed. Everything is the same igen, and the services i have setup and spend time on, isn't working at all.

I use the same configurations at another providers, (without problems) so the problems is created by kms-hosting. They have absolutely no brain to set up a proper "template" that will work for the customer. They now blame me for having done a lot wrong. I requested a refund since I do not have time to spend more hours on their useless vServer.

The vServer node is also totally overbooked! But they don't care, they only care about the MONEY!

stay away from this horrible company!

They threaten me with debt collection:

Guten Tag,

no, you have to follow common law and also terms of service :)

Because you have opened a case with paypal, we will work with paypal to resolve it.

You will get no support once it's solved and your service will be suspended. Also, we reserve the right to escalate this case to our european collection service also called inkasso, which will produce extra costs for you.

Freundliche Grüße,

Support
