Vendors and Delivery Dates
This site specifically says:
Estimated delivery Dec 6-15
Ships Worldwide through Canada
Yet she kept saying it possibly wouldn’t get to me in time and my options were either to
Upgrade
Accept the lateness
Cancel
She came back several times asking me that it may not get there in time. Please note that I placed this order on Dec 1st and said the latest date was Dec 21st as I could be flexible. After several emails where I asked if she had an issue shipping to Quebec and that Dec 21 was 20 days away. Again, her site says
“ Estimated delivery Dec 6-15
Ships Worldwide through Canada”.
She canceled my order without further conversation and said she did because she was sure it would get there in time. Wow -
So this was her last comment to me:
“ Anyways, I was extremely pleasant until you snapped about me not wanting to ship to Quebec. That’s honestly hilarious to me. I ship there constantly. I ship all over the world.”
Again, this was not the experience I expected to have for an occasion as such. I will say that she refunded me once she canceled the order but it did leave me hanging to find some
other vendor quickly. Luckily, I did find another vendor that will deliver from the US and in plenty of time.
My message - please be aware of the delivery dates a vendor places on their site as they were not at all accurate with this vendor.

This buyer was a nightmare. I let her know that her order might not arrive by the date she needed it. She could upgrade, risk it or cancel. She requested risk it. I double checked to see if she really was ok with not having a cake topper for her cake. She said if I can’t get it to her in time to cancel it.
So, I canceled it.
She truly did snap. Not only was she extremely rude, but she got her baker to place an order for the same topper! I then cancelled the baker’s order and the baker refused to admit she was in on this. Keeping in mind, she told me she’d be leaving a terrible review. Obviously when she realized she couldn’t leave an Etsy review, she maliciously found me here on TRUST PILOT to try and further harm my excellent reputation.
My estimated delivery dates are very accurate. I can ship to the USA (where she lives) between Dec. 6-15th. But she said she needed it Dec. 11th. Furthermore, she wasn’t shipping it to the USA, she was shipping it in Canada. Apples and oranges! Shipping within Canada is TWO WEEKS, if not more!
All I tried to do was make sure she got her order in time, that’s it. To me, that is the very epitome of great customer service.
