Great service although website could be a bit clearer
Just Logged in and added my details of where we were going and up popped 4 choices of meds. Bit difficult choosing which would be best and hope I made the right choice. I'll tell you after I get back hopefully :-)

I'm trying to find out what malaria tablets to give my son when travelling through the far east. I've given outline details of his trip to Know Malaria but have no idea which pills are being recommended for which areas. Also, want to know the pros and cons of the different pills he could take - it only gives the price. Need someone to discuss it with. Still not sure what to do. However, I do like the site - hence giving 3 stars rather than 2. And for my trip to Kenya, when I knew what I was looking for and how long I was going to be there, it was great.

There is also a common side effects table you can click on to give you further information to help decide.

Alcohol
Unfortunate that prior to purchasing our selected malaria tablets we were not advised that they were not compatible with alcohol. On the advice slip contained therein it states " NOT TO BE TAKEN WITH ALCOHOL"
Who goes on holiday ( unless you're teetotal and does not drink!!?!!
Not sure now what to do, advice please?

Easy to use website, just wish you could add a second person without having to set up another account, so delivery is in one parcel.
Good price, presumebly the questions asked allow them to be able to write prescription for you which saves going to the GP.

You are correct that our prescribers issue a prescription to be able to supply you with your antimalarials.This is why we have to ask you to create separate accounts for each traveller so that we can keep a secure record for you as individuals which will be available for you to access on future trips.
Our personal and medical questions make a risk assessment for each person so we can make safe recommendations not just for where you are travelling to but making sure they are suitable for you as an individual.
Effectively this becomes your personal travel health record. Future improvements are in the pipeline to enable you to store all your travel vaccine history and we are working on a "family trip" function also.
For patient confidentiality, all orders are processed, packaged and sent separately even if they are from the same family and address.

I am usually paranoid about using an internet company for medication. So I did do all the pre-checks with the General Medical Council and everything was fine. But this company go way beyond that (the extra mile). My queries were answered almost immediately, as if the correspondent knew me, with such caring and knowledgeable attitude. I will use this company rather than any of the high street Chemist every time; and greatest of all, there are best on price!
