order canceled, no explanation, no refund
Very bad experience. I made a simple mistake, only reading incorrectly an information regarding my contact lenses, which I purchased on kodano.it. I even tried to register and open my personal account on their website. I contacted them per email after a few minutes from my purchase and I RECEIVED AN ANSWER ONLY A DAY LATER saying that the contact lenses were already shipped. How is it possible to have no customer service at all regarding one’s order?? Competitive pricing comes at the expense of the customer. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND KODANO.
It's a fraud! Their vending machine took my payment but didn't release my order of 2 pack of Biofinity lenses. Customer service is unreachable for a refund
On July 11, 2025, I purchased prescription glasses (frame + lenses) from Kodano. Just two days later, the frame began to lose its color and quality. When I visited the store, I was told that the frame series had a known production issue and was pulled from sale. That was disappointing but what happened next was much worse. Although they refunded the frame, they refused to let me keep it temporarily, even though it was going to be thrown away anyway. This was my only pair of glasses, and I clearly explained that I would not be able to buy or prepare a new pair for at least 15–20 days due to travel and time constraints. Still, they insisted I give back the frame immediately, leaving me completely without glasses and unable to see properly during an important and busy time in my life. I didn’t ask for anything extreme. I only requested to keep the faulty frame temporarily, just to be able to see until I could arrange a replacement. I would have gladly returned it later. But this was denied.
Now, I am facing:
• Health and safety risks due to lack of vision,
• Emotional distress from being left helpless,
• No compensation, no proper apology, and no support from the company. I am respectfully asking Kodano:
• To provide me with a new pair of glasses (frame + lenses),
• To issue an official apology for the way I was treated,
• And to offer compensation for this extremely difficult and frustrating experience.
I trusted this company with my vision. Instead, I was left blind and ignored….
