Easy to use, very accurate indications

Great app! Thank you. However, quite often, there are many more hikes, trails, etc at the places than shown in the app. Maybe this could be improved?
Otherwise, really great app.

Route planning: very unreliable for Cycling with e-bike. I want to avoid loose gravel, but cannot reliably do so. Komoot‘s routing suggestions often include non-suitable surfaces. Choosing racing bike does not help either as ruling out e.g. stable forest ways.
Navigation: turn-by-turn navigation is useless as many indications are displayed that find no match on the route line of the map display. Your are forever guessing if Komoot considers a turn a deliberate decision or. default no-brainer, so the navigation by looking on the map is the only viable option. Even then you often miss a turn first as the positioning is not exact enough (on an iPhone 16 Pro from 2025, iOS 26.5.2).
They waste too much screen real estate for the route passed and on the function button.
Overall you easily happen to tap somewhere unintended while biking and have a hard time to get back to default screen. I would wish for a lock button where I can specify a minimal amount of tap option available. This is obviously very different for walking, where you can tap anywhere anytime and can look extensively on the screen.

Great app for hiking. Good navigation. Downside is that planning a route isn't always that easy with setting the waypoints in the right order.

Promising, but not perfect yet. I use Komoot 2-3 times/week for mountainbike and walking trails. Communicative developers: clear route to continuous monthly improvement. I do have problems navigating through the app. Making routes is a tedious sometimes confusing job. Lots of functions that I don't use yet. But I took a year premium to support the Komoot team.

Nice app Mostly good trails and usefull guiding. Unfortunately there is no family abo, sk we cannot do tours longer then one phone battery. With a family abo we cannstart navigating on kind and then switchboard my partners. Now wd yes mind until the battery runs out and I cannotvevdn buy a cup of coffee anymore.

The route planning is impossible. Please learn from OS maps - I find your system impossible to route plan with.

The route was super easy to following and the exchange of information to cycling computers (wahoo and Garmin) was extremely idiot proof. The infor provided on the the surfaces was helpful and accurate. Bring cash on this route business seldomly take cards. Stock up on water it was hot as hell.

I would appreciate it if Komoot focusses on its core competence and doesn't constantly advertise any new features to sell me another subscription.

Great tool for cycling, but bit too expensive.

In general my experiences with Komoot are good. But only yesterday I got lost - and became a bit angry - because the bike trail took us onto a hiking trail. I made sure to have chosen a bike trail.
Another point I‘d like to criticise is that once you have paused the navigation and want to continue you have to do several steps just from the beginning. This should be easier.

I love this app for creating and saving offline my own routes, and for finding others’ and editing them to my needs. The edit mode is a bit fiddly sometimes, but that’s to be expected on a small touchscreen. Maps and routes are accurate! I have been using the app for about 6 years. Recommended!
