Great to be advised by real experts at KRCS
My 2017 MacBook screen packed in. After trying everything offered by Apple Service including Chat and visiting a local repairer, I booked an appointment at KRCS. Within 2 minutes of discussion I was warned to expect the worst, the laptop was taken away and within 10 minutes the diagnosis was confirmed plus quote for the repair. I had already decided that the cost of screen replacement was disproportionate to the age of the MacBook but the good news was that the disconnection of the screen allowed the use of remote monitors and therefore I had gained a sort of desktop! I offered to pay for the diagnosis but this was waived because of very short time sent on dealing with this. I am a confirmed Apple fan and won’t hesitate to come back to KRCS with any further issues.

Macbook battery change gone wrong
Currently in the process of getting a 2019 macbook pro battery replaced, they quoted me 5 working days to complete the work.
On the 5th day called me to explain that something had gone wrong during the install and needed to get a new component (logic board) from Apple.
At that point I had a job coming up in 7 days that I needed the laptop for and was told I might need to source a new laptop at my own expense. No offer of help from KRCS.
I hired a laptop for the job at my own expense and we are now 23 days after I originally dropped the laptop off and I have a big work trip coming up and I'm very concerned they wont have the issue resolved.
UPDATE: I ended up buying a new laptop from them to avoid the potential of not having a working machine. They offered me 7.5% off a top spec unit but I went for a pre opened unit which was 10% off.
The discount and service were appreciated but please remember I did not expect to have to be spending £2600 and would have rather not spent that money.
They have not offered any compensation for the battery service that is still on going and have phoned me to explain that they have not damaged the unit but that it is no longer working and that they are escalating the situation with Apple.
However Apple are being very slow to remedy the problem.
As the customer when you go to a business that represents Apple you expect a good service. And you do get that at face value, friendly well trained staff and a well presented shop.
It just seems that I have fallen between the cracks and ended up without a laptop for 20+ days, leaving me to have to buy a brand new unit.
Manager called me and asked me to change my review based on the service they have provided, I have done so and hope that they can consider a refund for the original £200 on the battery as this has been a long drawn out process that I'd have rather not gone through.
Apple Watch Series 6 - Faulty Watch Face…
Purchased an apple series 6 watch from KCRS 2 just over 2 years ago, the watch face has come away and apple advise me this is a known product issue and if purchased from them they would replace
Sent to KCRS for an inspection and they are telling me I have damaged the watch face and this has caused this issue (I have at no point done this)
The outcome is that they will not replace this for me and want £319 to do this, please take heed of this review as if you buy from them and this happens like me they will not replace it and will fob you off, formal complaint made to them and guess what super glue is amazing to fix watch faces, it really works !
Ignore consumer law
What a sham of a company. I tried to cancel my order within 14 days and they are claiming they won't do this because its a "configured product". However consumer law states that this has to be something that cannot be sold to someone else. I.e if its engraved with my name etc...
I will now be disputing the payment with my credit card company and refusing delivery and never ordering from these clowns again.
I will also be reporting them to trading standards for their consumer law violation.
The order is currently still with apple on their end because its a pre order, so why they don't just cancel that or just sell it to someone else is beyond me. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Order placing nice and easy, but delivery time turned out to be nothing like that which their site said as a target. Appreciate that they were in the hands of Apple, but turned out to be a waste of the 10 days since placing the order, as ended up placing a new order with Apple direct and secured a delivery slot. Good comms from them to be fair.

Experience with this company has been great I bought an Apple Watch Ultra which I unfortunately had a problem within the month of having it these were great at accepting the Watch back agreed there was an issue and was sending it to Apple but was also going to send me a replacement next day delivery
As I’m thinking of selling my iPhone I won’t be able to use the watch with an android device if I ever come back to an Apple phone in the future these guys would be my go to for a new watch or anything else Apple related I needed

Mac Studio Order
I placed an order for a Mac Studio Max from KRCS online. I received an email the next day to advise that my item had been prepared and despatched.
The following day I had confirmation from DHL that the item was coming that day. Fantastic that it came so quickly, unsure why other negative reviews are saying otherwise - all I can advise is to check on the website that the item is 'in stock' to avoid any disappointment!
Would recommend and would also use them again!
Excellent iPhone Repair Experience
Took my phone in to the Nottingham HQ after booking with Apple.
Ran diagnostics on phone to confirm fault and advised they will contact mw when the phone is ready.
Within 3 hours my phone was fixed and I collected with no issues.
Top notch Customer Service and professional repair.
My iMac was giving me real problems
My iMac was giving me real problems. It would not start-up properly. I tried all kinds of 'fixes', nothing worked.
I took it into the Hull store. I was assisted by Paul Robinson. The attention, care and service I received was exceptional. He fix the problem, keeping me informed throughout the process and was there at the end to explain what he had done and what I was to do if the problem reoccured.
Overall a first class service from good company and staff.

it's sunday a few weeks before christmas and you were closed. absolutely mad considering the time of year to be closed on a sundasy. i've always gone to this shop and quite frankly the quality has gone down hill since you mnoved from under the city hall. jack is good but the other staff dont have the time of day like they used to. if there was another apple shop id go there instead but the shopin beverley shut down leaving no alternative.

Went into KRCS Derby store today to look at the Apple watches. Nathan came over to see how he could help us. He asked what our requirements were from the device and went through all of the options in order to properly fulfil our needs. We bought the perfect Apple watch. Great colour/fit and functionality, plus we bought additional accessories. What great staff you have. So knowledgeable. No pressure. Friendly, helpful and Nathan also help us set it up. I ordered an Apple Mac Studio M1Max
The predicted delivery was 10 weeks, it arrived a week earlier which was great.
Called them a few times for updates and they were very helpful. Kept me updated on what was happening. Monthly payments with Klarna went through quickly. You only start paying once the item has arrived. Put down a deposit on the Mac. No penalties for paying off early and interest-free for 12 months was a bonus.
Had a few questions and emailed them, fast replies each time. Would definitely buy from them again. Very good experience

I am writing to express my joy regarding the outstanding service I received from KRCS, specifically SAM in telesales. Despite never speaking with him before, I have to say that I have NEVER talked to anyone who is so customer-focused and friendly and deliberately goes that extra mile to ensure I (the customer) am indeed happy and at NO stage gets upset or loses his patience and is such a true pleasure to speak to him.
Being so calm, this being unheard of these days in most call centres, I see the professionalism and excellent training he had received as his product knowledge was unheard of.
Sam was friendly, approachable, professional, polite, helpful, and, most importantly, listened to what I was saying. He got to know me and where and which avenue to take in his advice and steering. Having a very nervous disposition toward computers, he kept me calm and relaxed. It became so enjoyable and a true pleasure to work with him to resolve my worries/concerns, and at NO time had he ever given up or brushed me off.
When he spoke, it was so factual regarding her knowledge that I felt I was at college again and wanted to take notes. I got blown away by the personal service, care and attention, and I could sense on the phone the customer service passion he had and the importance of this to his company and the client in resolving the matter.
By helping me and going that extra mile, I have not stopped recommending KRCS within my network.
He demonstrated how faithful he is not only to the brand but also to the company. Most importantly, he is an Ambassador for KRCS without any doubt!!. I can assure you that you hardly see that these days and that it has no number/value. I started feeling at home and enjoyed being embraced as a customer, something I thought was dead and buried in customer service these days.

Terrible communication
You can't make this up - I took my phone to the Nottingham Head Office to repair my front camera and was told it'd be a quick job. They take my phone and wipe it, wait for me to drive back to work and call my work saying "Apple need to see it, you'll be without it for a week..." You couldn't tell me this before I handed it over?
I couldn't do that so I collected my now factory reset phone and scheduled another appointment.
I take it back in at a later date anticipating a 1-week turnaround. They instead complete the repair on the same day LIKE I FIRST REQUESTED!?!?! It was never sent to Apple, and they notify me via voicemail...How can I listen to your voicemail if you have my phone?!
They've completely messed me around for no reason whatsoever and caused me to be without a phone for over a week + multiple journeys back and forth. Not a single apology either.

For sure it’s a 5* company. Today as advertised i had my wife’s iPhone 14 pro purple delivered. This is my 3rd order with this company and every time was the same…perfect. If you need an update the customer service is friendly and helpful, no silly waiting times for someone to answer the phone. And not forget about the 2 years warranty. Keep it up guys. Thanks
