This company instructed me on how to reenter some credit card numbers on the phone. Then a few weeks later they charged back my acct 5k and told me someone in there office gave me incorrect instructions and that they can’t return my 5k. Do not do business with this co. I repeat Do Not do any transactions with this company.

Charging us £53 per month for 2 accounts for pci that is meant to be included in our terms, one of the payment portals has never even been used and we cannot access our account. Have been unsuccessfully trying to resolve this since February, absolute nightmare of a company to contact and deal with. Avoid if you don't want robbed monthly.

EMS provided credit card services to our company for approximately 1 month in late 2023 before we stopped using them. They collected tens of thousands of dollars in credit card payments, then forced us to wait months before finally releasing the funds to us due to a bookkeeping mistake on their end in which they incorrectly said we exceeded our limit. They quietly acknowledged after the damage was done that we did not. They have continued to hold $6,000 of our money in a reserve fund since collecting it in 2023 from credit card transactions. We have not performed any card transactions in 2024 because of the disaster EMS was on releasing our funds. We have since moved to another credit card processor and have had no such issues. We attempted in March to get EMS to release our funds. They said we'd have to wait 90 days to have the funds released. Now that the 90 days have passed, They say they will release half of the funds and the other half in 60 days. This is unacceptable as these transactions are now nearly 8 months old and the statute of limitations on credit card chargebacks is typically 120 days.

Despite the EMS reply to this post that they attempted to contact me, I received no phone call, voicemail or email regarding my situation. Avoid doing business with this company.

I chose to go with EMS after some terrible experiences with a competitor. This was my first time calling in for support. I spoke with a patient, helpful, knowledgeable person, such a 180 from East Commerce no-Solution. My problem was solved quickly on a Sunday no less.

The salesman Connor was great. Follow-up from company and website team painfully slow/non-existent.

In the world of a million options, EMS stands out as one of the leaders in the industry. Transparent billing statements, amazing customer service, and the lowest rates in the industry are the reasons we use EMS at several of my companies.

I believe EMS is operating in a fraudulent manner in which they hold merchant funds indefinitely without justification. In December of 2023, our company opened a merchant account with EMS after going through a thorough underwriting process in which EMS reviewed our past credit card activity and financials. Our company does short term villa rentals and deals in relatively large dollar transactions. From January 18-21, we settled 6 credit card transactions totalling $46,982. EMS has still not forwarded these fund to our bank nearly 3 weeks later - a far cry from the 1 to 4 day norm. EMS requested follow up information on 3 of the transactions for verification purposes. Despite promptly providing all requested information, they have still not forwarded the funds from these transactions. They have shown no concern for the difficult position they've put our company in by holding these funds, as we must pay the villa owners for these short term rental contracts even though EMS refuses to forward the funds from the related credit card transactions. We've noticed many of the other TrustPilot reviews have labeled EMS as a fraud and a scam. Sadly, we've arrived at the same conclusion and believe that EMS is not operating in good faith and may have in fact wandered into criminal territory with the way they conduct business.
We've had a terrible experience with our account being deactivated for being a 'High Risk industry', despite the company's claims of specializing in such industries. Despite winning every chargeback with clear proof of service, our funds have been withheld for over four months for a review, contradicting the agreed 120-day period. Additionally, every attempt to communicate results in being transferred between departments, only to be disconnected after minutes of waiting. It's baffling how such a company remains operational
Beware of EMS Merchant Services - A Nightmare Experience
I regretfully share my appalling experience with EMS Merchant Services. Their exorbitant fees are unparalleled in the market, and to add insult to injury, attempting to cancel comes with a jaw-dropping $590 fee. Save yourself from this financial trap and run in the opposite direction.
I was looking into changing my merchant to someone with a lower processing fee. I found these clowns online, and thank God I never signed up with them. One of their "reps" in so many words told me that I am fabricating my other merchants numbers, and that they would need "access" into my personal merchant account to see the numbers for themselves. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. So many better merchants out there.
I wish i was more educated on worst payment providers in USA as EMS made the top 10 in many lists and I surely know why. Pathetic service, Bad communication, Cancellation fee, Undisclosed payment scrutiny, money on hold, late payment fullfillment you keep naming it. They are working out of a boiler room and have only got a few reps, Only person I spoke from risk ever, Patrick who is an unreliable, dishonest and extremely narcissist and will not care if your business is bled dry. They will hold your money and make your business bleed and will promise you to release your money after a few transactions which never end. They never funded any one of my payments for months, after requesting to cancel immediately they waited a week to send an email to me asking 575$ to cancel, this happened at the end of the month so you are sure they just did it to charge you the monthly fee as you go. What a good bye and a good rip off. I cant believe banks such as these are allowed to operate. They are worst than scammers, dont choose them, go with your local bank instead.
Not worth it. They charge some pretty absurd fees that are random, and they also charge a massive contract cancellation fee. Of course, this fee is written in very tiny fine print at the bottom of page 5 of the contract, so that you won't actually know about it until the time comes. Very disappointed with the company.
I had some negative experiences, but after talking with a woman named Joy, from Nigeria, I have to say that she turned it all around.

one of if not the worst merchant service providers. every transaction they ran for our company was flagged and held for review by their company, in turn making an awful customer service experience for our customers. when asked why they stopped every transaction for review they got rude. their fees are beyond reasonable, they charge a cancelation fee even when they don't provide service to you at all. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
