I bought a lamp
I ordered a lamp, a second one by mistake. I wrote straight away explaining what happened. Nobody answered. I ordered it 6 weeks ago. I wrote several times asking for help and clarification, Someone said in just one response the second lamp would be sorted out, nothing happened.
The lamp was supposedly in stock, not heard about chipping yet.
I bought before from this company and was satisfied. I feel in the moment I had needed customer support with the second object the customer service seem to be inexistent, and it is very disappointing..

I would avoid ordering anything from this company as there is no guarantee you will actually receive it, and there is no information available about where your products are.

AVOID!!!! We ordered 3 bar stools which were promised for delivery in December. One arrived, 2 months later a broken one arrived, then the third arrived and was shorter than the other two!!!
We have sent various emails and chats and I was told a replacement chair will be with us by March. We are now near the end of April and Kyoto will not respond to my emails or answer any chats. I have asked for a phone number to speak to a manager, I have contacted them on the SHOP App. I have no response. Terrible customer service. We are now left with a stool shorter than the other two and broken one which they still have not collected. After spending £1200 we did not expect the service to be this poor, or for the shipments to be coming from China. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ripped off and disappointed!!!!

Ordered chair last week, now order status is saying in fulfilment, I was not made aware that there is a delay or this is being made to order in China.
I have tried reaching out live chat and email but no response. I want to cancel my order as I needed a quick delivery but cannot get hold of anyone, no replies despite spending over £400 on one chair.
Ripped off
Purchase of a Nagareyama Vase Small. Delivered in advance of the delivery date stated and good service. Unfortunately for me I paid £120 for this then saw the exact same advertised on Etsy for £64. I paid nearly double the price. Shop around first! Customer services non existent. Just a rip off!!

I explicitly asked this company via email what country one of their products was manufactured in.
Their response: "The Ichinomiya Wind Chime is hand crafted in Japan upon order."
So before ordering anything more expensive from them I ordered this trinket. I got tracking information. And where did the product ship from?
Shenzhen, China.
I suppose these Japanese artisans ship all their handcrafted wares to China's major manufacturing centre for shipment?
The product arrived, and it's okay. It's a bit rough on the front and not sanded properly. It's also described wrongly as a wind chime. It's actually a door bell - you fasten it to a door and it rings when the door is opened, like a shop bell.
I'm not opposed to purchasing from China in and of itself, but I do object to companies deliberately stating falsehoods.
