It is now October

It is now October, and Laptop World has just responded to my review posted last February. Rather strange! The owner claims that my review is entirely untrue and libelous. OK so why doesn't he sue me?
I am more than happy to bring my evidence to court along with witnesses who were there at the time and will testify regarding his lies. The delay in taking action against him is explained by the fact that detailed investigations are taking place regarding his so called suppliers which at face value seem to be himself trading as yet another company. This is not confirmed, but I am getting close. The computer I paid for, has now been thoroughly tested by an Apple registered engineer at my cost, both in terms of hardware and software with the following result. The computer according to my engineer had never been opened until he the Apple engineer, opened it. The case when opened showed signs of impact damage. More importantly, the hard disc was the original disc fitted at time of manufacture. No work whatsoever had been done to refurbish this machine despite the sellers sales literature. If there was any testing, it must have been a simple switch on and off! The original hard disc proved to be unreliable and was noted for its premature failure (see various Apple related sites). The disc is Western Digital 1.0TB WD1001FALS.This disk was known to be unreliable very early in it's time ,and was recommended to be changed by the Apple engineering fraternity. The problem was associated with the disc reading mechanism which worked intermittently and caused crashes. I was informed by the engineer that the installed software had nothing to do with the crash. The engineer that I employed to investigate, solved the problem, by simply changed the hard disc. The computer then worked perfectly, complete with the so called damaging software installed later by my grandson. Isn't it strange that the seller said he would change the disc but I had to pay! In other word, he knew what was wrong all along but would not honor his obligations.
I completely stand by my original post, and I am still building a complete and analytical case to take first to the advertising standard authorities and possibly to the claims court. Time is on my side.
