Radio silence - might be scammers

After placing my order the 9th of december, but not yet receiving any information about shipment or tracking, I tried writing them twice to get an update. There has been radio silence from them, though they were quick to claim payment.

I am very worried that they are scammers, and I have lost all hope to receive my order in time for Christmas (it was meant to be a present).

Just awful

Update on the review. If you notice that lastaforest has replied to my review trying to show whoever reads the reviews that they have reacted to my concern. They are lying. Still no update to the order and no tracking info……

This company maybe scammers. Be cautious
I had an awful experience with lastaforest. I placed an order 2 weeks ago and till this day it is on pending status! I asked them to cancel it and get a refund but they are manipulating me. Bear in my mind that u can be waiting forever if you order. Cannot comment on their products as i never received. Never going to repeat the mistake of ordering at lastaforest again

Best tools for espresso & other coffee drinks

The products are really good with good built in quality. Either you purchase tools for espresso or V60. Innovative design.
Only thing need to improve is delivery system.
Delivery is very slow compare to other competitors.
Or else I would have given 5 of 5 Rating.

Satisfied

I bought a wooden tamper for my portafilter and it came to me without any problem. Lastaforest informed me at least 5 times during the cargo process. Although I live in Turkey I haven't any problem with the custom. It was very important for me. Thank you very much.

Less than one star. I bought one of their on the 11th. Has not shipped yet. On the 20th

I wrote and email last week very concerned and they replied that they were overwhelmed by the quantity of orders and lack of personal.
What kind of lie this is? 10 days later,

I ask them to give me my money back.
They stoped answering.

The worst of experiences!

Two weeks after order and still no delivery information…

I ordered the wdt tool on Nov 3 2034. It said delivery on Nov 11 when placing the order but I still haven’t got a tracking id. What is the problem with shipping?

I replied to the order confirmation and they replied -
“Sorry for the late reply. Due to the large number of emails, we lost the email.

Please do not worry too much, we will not cheat you. We are waiting for the carrier to pick up the goods. When there is the latest information, the system will notify you via email immediately. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.

The item looks great in the photo, but

The item looks great in the photo, but I was disappointed with the actual quality. The edges are sharp, the lines are uneven, the coffee basket is too small, there's no manual in English, and the coffee doesn't taste good.

The product I received is not bad

The product I received is not bad, but definitely not worth the premium price they are charging. All of the product are made in China, and can be bought with half the price listed on their website through other resellers.

Possible Scam Warning - Avoid Lastaforest

I placed an order with Lastaforest on August 18th, but I haven’t received the product despite repeated promises. They withdrew the payment on August 20th, yet the item has never arrived. I've contacted them multiple times, and each time, I was assured the product would arrive "soon," but nothing has changed. At this point, I’m starting to believe this could be a scam. If you're considering buying from them, be very cautious — my experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I’m still waiting for a resolution or a refund. Definitely would not recommend.

No next time for sure

No next time for sure.

Living in Hong Kong, I placed my order on 3 Aug 2024, and I eventually got the delivery arrived on 9 Sep 2024. Within this whole month+, I sent at least 5 emails asking when I should expect the delivery arrive, they couldn’t gave me the answer and the tracking status via the linked provided was always indicated as “order pending”.

The staff said I didn’t leave my contact number, so the delivery can’t contact me and can’t send me the goods. If a contact number is essential, why they dont make it mandatory in order to place the order? If I dont actively email and ask, no one will tell me the status.

I then provided my contact number to the staff, and after more than 2 weeks, still no delivery. I then contact the staff again, and they ask me to contact my local delivery on my own. This is absurd, ridiculous and unacceptable.

The goods were poorly packed without protection filling. And the so call Italian hand grinder was made in China.

The wdt tool came tilted and wasn’t…

The wdt tool came tilted and wasn’t level. When I sent feedback to the customer service they mentioned to bend the pins. Customer service totally doesn’t understand the issues and provided unusable feedback. Will not purchase again. Product is made in China and you’re better ordering it direct if customer service was this poor.

Good products and service.

Pretty happy with the experience and product. I ordered a geared spinning WDT tool and an adjustable tamper stepless leveling tool.
The order shipped quickly.
The products seem well made and work well.
The spinning WDT tool looks awesome, and works well. It does increase the height of the grounds in the portafilter a fair amount so you have to adjust your technique, but it definitely helps with channeling.
The tamper looks great, and works well also.
I have only had them a few days, but I am happy so far.

I ordered 54mm WDT tool

I ordered 54mm WDT tool, but delivered one was 53mm. It didn’t fit into my La San Marco’s portafilter. I didn’t know it was made and delivered from China. Positively return and refund processing will give me another headache for sure. I will toss this thing to the garbage. Will never buy anything from you.
