Love Last Bottle
Love Last Bottle!
If you are looking for great deals on Wine (ranging from $200 a bottle to $20.00) I highly recommend Last Bottle. I have purchased dozens of bottles from them. Delivery speed varies but not a concern of mine as I have plenty of wine to drink. ;). Only suggestion would be to place 2 ice packs when shipping during the summer month vs 1. Again highly recommend... 5 stars!
Service Quality Non Existing - Hopefully Resolved
I have generally had good experience with Last Bottle Wines. I placed three orders earlier this year but was advised that due to hot weather, it will be better for the wines to be shipped to me on the East Coast after August. Now I have been chasing the company and have not got a single response to my emails. Very disappointed!!
PS: Sarah reached out to me - the emails that were sent to me were never delivered to my mailbox. But she was very helpful and said she would call me when my Hold Orders are shipped. She also mentioned that the company is working on enhancing its customer service by phone capabilities. This is good news!! I have always enjoyed the deals they offer and I hope this one technical glitch was a one-off.

Crooks…paid for by wine to be delivered…
Crooks…paid for by wine to be delivered to my house on the East Coast and they gave it to a third party who now I have pay as well so that I can have them deliver it. Customer service is non existent.

Once Reliable, Now Disappointing: Service and Delivery Plunge in 2025
I was a customer for more than five years. Until the end of last year, their service was good. Occasionally, I found excellent, reasonably priced wines there.
But in 2025, their service has been going downhill. Deliveries have become slower every week, and waiting periods of 3 to 6 weeks are now the norm.
I ordered a package on April 10, and when it was finally scheduled for delivery at the end of the month, I placed it on hold at a Walgreens store. Unfortunately, the store returned the package well before the standard 5-day retention period had passed.
The package reached the LBW location three days later. They offered me a credit, but I still haven’t seen it in my account to this day.

Still Hopeful
Revision: I was finally updated that there was indeed an order and movement towards fulfillment. Not sure if it's coincidental that it happened once I disputed the charges and posted a review. But I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I want the wine so my only hope is that it hasn't been sitting in an non-air conditioned warehouse (paid for the chill pack).
I placed an order over two weeks ago, paid, and have never heard back. I've called and emailed with zero response. I'm turning both orders over to chase for a fraud investigation. The whole thing is a scam.

Many year customer with plenty of successful orders
I have placed multiple orders over the past few years with Last Bottle Wines and have never had any issues. They do not immediately ship, especially if it's a marathon sale.
They also provide an option to pay for a cool pack to be added to your wine for shipping which is a nice touch that other companies do not do.
Some of their pricing is amazing, while others are normal/average.
I appreciate that I can find wines through them that I may not have access to locally.

Experience until May was good. Good wines at a fair price and delivery was good. But I have two outstanding orders, one over two weeks old and no shipments underway. They tell me that I'm in the queue but with no promise shipment date.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Ordered a case of wine and 10 days later no shipment. Because the wine industry is in trouble, there are amazing deals on wine at local stores and even big chains. No need to deal with an online scam like Last Bottle. Their ship has sailed.

Ordered bottle depending on email that offered "$20 off first order" Said "put in offer code at check out. Surprise! No way to apply the code and was charged full price Oh, do I need to say it? Wine not delivered,
Company has ignored/failed to respond to emails - which is the only way they take messages.
There iis "no one home" if you call customer service number just a messages saying they don't take calls(!) and to send email. Which is ignored.
Glad only lost not too much money on bad deal

I ordered over $1,000 of wine in August 2024. My CC was charged immediately. Three and a half months later the wine was delivered. To be fair, they stated that delivery could take 6 weeks, so they were only off by 125%. But I do like and frequently still purchase from the site.

No Ice Pack, No Good Resolution
I ordered three bottles of wine and paid for the ice pack since the weather in Southern California was hot. I was disappointed to get my wine AND THERE WAS NO ICE PACK. I sent an email to Last Bottle and they said they would credit me for the lack of ice. They credited my Last Bottle account and when I said I wanted the credit on my credit card they did that.
When I said I was concerned about the quality of the wine standing up to the heat, they gave me a couple of choices. They said I could send the wine back. Or, they said I could sample one of the bottles and let them know if there was a problem with it. I told them i wasn't planning on drinking any of those bottles this soon and preferred to lay it down for a year or so. So now they wanted me to open a bottle to see if their mistake ruined the wine, even when that wasn't what I had wanted to do. I suggested returning the heated bottles and having them send properly shipped wine as I had ordered. The agent said they didn't have any more of that wine - hence the name Last Bottle I suppose.
They have good deals on wine, but can't be trusted to ship the wine properly and there isn't a chance to get those bottles when you find out they messed up the shipping. And it's a hassle to have to go through procedures to return the wine.
The agent was nice, but I don't like companies that inconvenience their customers for their mistakes. Probably wouldn't recommend a company like that.

If They Have Shipping Problems, It's Your Fault
I ordered six bottles which were supposed to be delivered by FedEx on Sunday, September 8. I was home that day. Still I got a text from Fed Ex that said they were unable to deliver because no one was home, and they would try again Monday. If the delivery person came to the door, he did not ring the doorbell. That's very odd since these deliveries require an adult signature. On Monday, FedEx told me it was out for delivery and then later that there had been a "delivery interruption," and the box had been returned to their warehouse for "inspection." On Tuesday, another promised delivery, and another non- delivery. The same on Wednesday and then Thursday. I asked Last Bottle to take the shipment back and refund my money. Who knows what that wine would taste like after being in hot delivery trucks for several days. After sending three emails, I finally got a response from Last Bottle. They would refund my money minus 3% and minus shipping charges! I fail to see how any of this was my fault, or why I should be penalized for FedEx's problems. They are right about one thing: that was the Last Bottle I'll ever order from them. Beware!

Good wines and prices, but not always as described
I have been buying wines from last battle for about 15 years. I have had mostly good experiences and customer service has been responsive when I had issues. I assume anyone who has bought much from LastBottle learned that they have an extraordinarily creative writer for descriptions of wine offerings that often don’t live up to the hype (but they’re entertaining). have begun to question the prices they advertise when offers come up daily. I know “Retail” is meaningless to many of us, probably what is charged at the winery. I always thought “Best Web” meant the current best available price found elsewhere on the web (WWW). However, often a quick search reveals lower prices, just as it does today. Last Bottle’s offering is $29, but I quickly found the same product for $24-$25. None of this means that Last Bottle is not offering some stellar wines and at good prices, but I’ve learned it pays to check other sources for ratings and opinions and don’t believe their offering price is necessarily better than other websites.

Save yourself the aggravation and don’t order from them. I placed an order with them 2 weeks ago and never received it. They haven’t issued a refund yet and take forever to respond to email. They are as horrible as it gets! I will file a complaint with authorities!

To start, I get the opportunity to buy and try wines that I can't get around my home area. On top of that, they have great prices and their customer service is awesome. Normally, shipments are shipped quickly and well packaged to prevent damage. Throw a blazing fire or severe storm at them and the wine still comes timely without a hitch.
