Day 108 and still waiting ....

(Update: it's now Day 108 and we still haven't received the Day 8 Result. I emailed them multiple times, including sending this review before posting it in case they wished to comment; no response. Phone calls aren't answered either.)

Do not be tempted by their low pricing. And definitely do not use them for your Day 5 Test to Release.
These guys are so inefficient that not only is their turn around slow but, based on the Royal Mail tracking data, it appears that RECEIVED SAMPLES ARE BEING PUT BACK IN THE POST TO BUY THEMSELVES TIME!!
Or maybe they are using the same tracking number for multiple customers ??

Don't believe me?
Day 2 test arrived on Day 2.
Good start
I did it immediately and posted it back.
Then I tracked it....
It was delivered early morning on Day 3 - but then it was received into the postal system on the evening of Day 3!!
It was delivered again early morning on Day 4 - but then it was received into the postal system again on the evening of Day 4!!
Day 5 was Good Friday
It was delivered again on Day 6
(Yes I have printed out the whole Royal Mail history)
Days 7 and 8 were Easter
I finally got my Day 2 result on Day 10!

No more bank holidays to mess things up so it couldn't happen a second time, could it?
Oh yes it could...
Day 8 test arrived on Day 9
Fair enough: Day 8 was Easter Monday.
I did it immediately and posted it back.
Then I tracked it....
... same story!
Delivered on Day 10 ...
...and again on Day 11 !!
I finally got my Day 8 result on Day 15.

My partner got her Day 2 Result on Day 4 ...
... but it's now Day 108 and she still hasn't received her Day 8 Result!!

Did The Job

I have just had the day 2 and 8 and also test to release through Latus Health. The tests arrived on time and the results came back on time as well - around two days after I posted them so a day for delivery then the results the day after that. There is no courier service if you need to send your test on a Sunday and the local priority postbox isn’t on a Sunday collection. Also the Royal Mail tracking numbers seemed to be from previous deliveries so I couldn’t track the progress of my sample to know it got there. Some kind of online tracking system would make the process feel a little less like a shot in the dark everytime you send a sample but to be fair, the existing process did not let me down. Email queries were also answered within 24 hours, however the customer care number is only an automated message so you can’t talk to anyone if you have an urgent query. Overall, some room for improvement but not a horrendous experience either.

Appalling

Appalling. The tests arrived in my letterbox, but the results did not. In particular the day 2 test which protects the UK against other variants. I am trying to get my money back but there isn't any customer service. A support group has been set up for customers who have been swindled. Some note that they have received tests results when they haven't actually sent their swabs off. So they are also producing fake certificates. A danger to the general public. Avoid like the plague....

Avoid

I have ordered the day 2 and 8 tests, but also 5th day early release test. Spent £600 for 2 people. I have received my day 2 and day 8 results 48h after they have been sent, instead of 12-24 as promised on the website. And I have never received my results for day 5. Trying to get my money back for it now.

They have no phone number either, so no means of communication except for email.

Avoid this company

We purchased our Day 2, 5 and 8 tests from Latus (a total of £600), and the service was terrible. Either the tests didn't arrive as promised, the return postage and address weren't provided, or the results failed to be provided in a timely manner. There is no customer service to speak of, and the company tries to absolve itself of all responsibility for the consequences of its poor performance. In short, the company provides you with no incentive to use it, which is odd for a for-profit company.

The worst company to book Covid Tests…

The worst company to book Covid Tests from when you return to the UK. I am on day 11 with no covid results from Day 8!

My parents are on day 8 and still haven't received both day 2 or 8 test. I have contacted the company but no response as to yet and they do not answer the phones!!

Bought two 2&8 day tests from this…

Bought two 2&8 day tests from this company for testing whilst doing 10 day quarantine for £350. For day two I had a query and phoned but it was just a recorded message. For the day 8 test I received the tests. They are supposed to come with a Royal Mail Tracked24 return paid postage label. Neither box had one so we had nowhere to send our samples to. Tried phoning the number given four times but just message each time. Sent three emails to email addresses given but no response from either. Their FAQs does not deal with this situation. It is only after taking our samples that we noticed there was no label on the return package. I tried calling their main office in Melton but no one answered. Tried four times. I am aware that the tests are tested by Everything Genetic but when I called them to ask which of their labs to send it to they refused to answer and told me as I had purchased from LATUS that I would have to refer to them. So this is day 11 of my quarantine. I have sent a fourth email to LATUS and I'm still waiting have no idea what to do or where to send my samples. I'd pay postage myself if they'd just give me the address to send them to. This is supposed to be a company approved by government for testing. Not good experience but it will be the last
Update. Sent tests back to sender as they still haven't replied to my emails. Got one result 17 days after test. We are now weeks after and still waiting for results. Can't say anything good about this company.save your money and go elsewhere
