The documents leave a lot to be desired and also do not even have simple tools to review and spell check. Support is rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone.

Though I'm a service disabled veteran I am trying to help a younger man get a new start in life by helping him start a business. I've been blessed and want to pass that blessing on. So I was searching online for some fillable forms and found LawDepot who promised a variety of subscription plans, but since this is a onetime use I chose the "free for one week" plan. But this company failed to stress that free isn't free. I only get the completed form if I pay a previously undisclosed "notary" fee. So I am now out the completed form I need to help this young guy because LawDepot won't allow me to download the completed form, and I now see they've locked me into a monthly subscription I'll never use. Very misleading.

Didn't like 1-year limitation on Power of Attorney.

The subscription was auto-renewed without advance warning. This is a seedy practice in any case but will soon be illegal thanks to the UK's Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA)
The company refunded my money after I reached out to them, but I failed to spot the previous year's subscription which I requested be refunded but was refused. (I didnt even receive an emailed receipt for either payment.)

the subscription is only valid for 5 year if you keep the same tenant for 5 years

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with LawDepot. I signed up for what I believed was a short-term service and was later charged through an automatic renewal that I was not aware would continue. When I contacted customer service to request a refund, I received no meaningful assistance and was told the charges would stand.
Companies should be transparent about recurring billing and willing to work with customers who unintentionally remain enrolled. Instead, I felt the focus was on enforcing the renewal rather than providing good customer service.
The platform itself may be useful, but my experience with the billing practices and lack of flexibility regarding refunds has left a very negative impression. I would advise others to carefully review the renewal terms and monitor their accounts closely before signing up.
