Very Informative and Helpful

My experience was great because all of my questions were well answered and professional. I was impressed be the amount of tools and services I could utilise all in one place. Jordan helped me navigate the best options for my current situation and future plans. Would definitely recommend.

Poor document followed by instant phone calls

Like other negative reviews, got the instant phone calls on 'signing up for free' (adopted my standard practice of using junk phone numbers and email addresses to avoid spam). Two phone calls back to back followed by a text. I ignored the attempted contact as I found the Will they provided (the 'download one free document' opportunity) to be very poor. Compared to other wills I can imagine the Lawpath version would result in some poor outcomes in terms of validity, etc. Have since moved onto a suitably superior offering elsewhere.

Not fit for purpose. Waste of money.

I would not recommend Lawpath. They charge a lot for membership, there is no trial membership and their legal templates are a joke - like something out of the 1980s. I had no trust in them at all. We cancelled our membership in the first week. A total waste of time and money.

The template and access to accountant is not worth the price

NO REFUND! NO TRIAL! IT IS A 12 MONTH MINIMUM CONTRACT!

I was onboarded with this platform without knowing that there is no trial period. I asked when I get onboard can I cancel it. The answer was yes I can cancel it later but there was no mention of a minimum of 12 months contract and that if I cancel I will still need to pay for the full 12 months price. How is that fair when I am not using for the services?

I was told I will get access to lawyers and accountants however, the advice they give is general in nature and does not take into consideration your personal situation.

The consultation also only last 30 minutes max. Anything extra is an extra fee from the accountant.

I have tried to use their template files which is really very generic and you will need to fill in the details anyways yourself.

If you really do not know what you're doing, then maybe this will be a good product for you but if you've done your research and know what you're after, then I would suggest to go for a proper lawyer or accountant.

I subscribed in October 2023. I have completed or have use for their template system so far. I've been in contact with 2 different accountants on 3 different occasions.

Total cost about $2800 per year. I was originally on a $879 per quarter plan which got reduced to $696. About a few days into the system, I told the consultant I found no use for this platform and it does not meet what they set out in their marketing promotion.

They keep saying I have access to unlimited consultations with lawyers and accountants. Again just general consultation which you can already find on ATO website.

I have to fork an extra $1350 to get tax affairs done somewhere else.

Lawpath in my opinion is not worth it. Do not fall into the trap of getting amazing advice from their accountants.

Unethical scammers, avoid!

Unethical scammers, do not use! they dupe people into paying for documents which are supposed to be free, and get people stuck on long term contracts they can't cancel!

waste of time

waste of time
one document, takes your phone, and starts spamming right away. Doc is a PDF with ALL LINKS to them; it is not usable, locked, or useless! Don't waste your time; read the warning before putting your card information in (you'll regret it). Search on Google for a few minutes; there is nothing you will not find for free on Google (trust me).

From the initial contact LawPath has been a seamless positive experience

From the initial contact LawPath has been responsive, proactive, collaborative and supportive. They have taken the time to really get to understand what I was looking to do with my new start-up, and patiently walk me through the process. Having people based in Australia providing rapid response to enquiries is fantastic. They have helped me rapidly pick up the pace as we head towards launch, with a seamless positive customer experience at every step. Highly recommend to anyone.

Out of touch with the consumer

Before having even provided payment to Lawpath for a subscription, my recent experience has not been one which reflects well on their part. For a company whose target audience is small businesses - many of whom would be new start ups, their subscription and billing options lack connection and understanding for this audience. I enquired about the possibility for being billed monthly on the "Essentials" plan and my experiences with the customer service agents "Joseph" and "Georgia", proved just how far into the gutter this aspect of a company's reputation has become. Furthermore "Ross", one of their business consultants, wasted no time in making three attempts to call me the moment I clicked the account sign up button. From the follow up email communication with him, the revealed intention of that was for a sales pitch, and upon expressing my discontent with the billing limitations, I was met with further lack of any worthy customer service experience.
For their so called understanding of the cashflow challenges which new small businesses can face, Lawpath do not reflect a true connection or customer-centric approach to this. In 2021 the cost of the same plan (Essentials) was $288. It has now jumped to $468 with payment still expected to be made upfront, and a collective adamance that there is no monthly payment arrangement which can be made. The irony then lies in the fact that all other plans above Essentials are available on a monthly billing cycle - however you need to be prepared to pay an additional $100/month for this. Lawpath evidently have the billing software capabilities to offer monthly payment options, they simply choose not to for reasons they provide no worthy explanation for, merely palming off and ignoring the concerns raised. I made it very clear to all Lawpath employees I communicated with that I have no issue with paying the $468 across the course of the year, but require the flexibility to do so across monthly installments - a feature which is very common place amongst many other subscription based platforms and services.

Hi Olivia,

Our focus at Lawpath has always been to make legal support accessible to small businesses and provide a range of services and alternative options for users to access that support.
We thank you for your interest in joining the Lawpath platform and are sorry that our existing subscription prices and payment methods do not fit with your current cash flow. Monthly billing is only available on our Advice Plans, as we know the upfront cost can be a barrier for those seeking legal advice.

The increase in prices over the last 3 years reflects the increase in features and value added to the subscription in this time, including:

- Access to over 450 legal documents
- Lawpath AI
- Workflows
- Improved eSign options
- Customisable templates and even more tools.
We believe this is still great value and had offered a discount on the current rates after you had raised the initial concerns on pricing.

We do always appreciate the feedback and will continue to work and improve our service offerings going forward.

If you would like to discuss further, you please reach out to support@lawpath.com.au and will be happy to address any questions or concerns with you then.

On top of her knowledge and pure professionalism, her patience and streamlined approach to helping me understand the platform and get my company set up was just amazing. Thank you Jamie-Lee.
