As an interior designer, I was looking for cost-effective shaker-style wardrobes for two guest bedrooms on a recent project. I came across Lawrence Walsh via John Lewis & Partners and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

Dominic (the owner) and Sophia (the designer) were excellent throughout. They were friendly, efficient, and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

The installation was also carried out to a very high standard. Glyn, the installer, was proactive, had a genuine can-do attitude, and took real care in his work, staying late to ensure everything was completed properly. That level of diligence is not always easy to find.

I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others. They offer an extensive range of wardrobes across a variety of aesthetics and price points, including bespoke colour options, as well as a more contemporary Italian range with its own distinct aesthetic.

LW were very prompt and approachable.
The quality of the wardrobes was significantly better than some on the market.
Communication was good.
We had to wait a while for installation but the fitters did a really good job.
LW do not do a ‘hard sell’.
Highly recommended.

We originally engaged LWFF to design fitted wardrobes for our apartment but ultimately engaged them to also design and build a study, home workspace and a whole wall media unit. The service, engagement and attention to detail from start to finish was outstanding; from Dominic attending to scope the projects, Sophia for tirelessly working with us to design each piece and Glyn for a superb installation. To say we were overjoyed with the finished pieces is an understatement - we regularly get a “wow” review from visitors on the pieces and can only pass this on to the team at LWFF.

Fantastic design and quality of the wardrobes as well as a responsive team to deal with queries/extra requests. We had ann odd shape annd they worked magic with very high ceilings. And the thing that makes LW truly better than the rest is their staff. Our fitter, Glynn, was outstanding. Amazing work and very good communicator. And the chaps who delivered the material were SO polite and respectful of our home. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Pricey but blimey they are worth it.

Driver hit my brand new van which I'd only purchased the day before. he drives like the roads are a race track, in a left turn only lane cuts across 2 lanes to go straight. He put his arm up to say sorry but sped off, I gave a little chase to try and catch up but he was gone clearly knowing what he'd done. sign written van so I contacted the company and its been over a week and no response. Disgusting behaviour.

Our end to end experience from design to installation was absolutely superb.and we are extremely happy with our new wardrobes.

The initial site visit from Dominic was very valuable. He is knowledgeable and gave us great advice about what was possible in the space.
The designs were prepared quickly and we were able to check we were happy with the layout. The team were happy to answer our questions and matched the exact colour for the doors.
Installation was efficient and everyone took great care to respect our home, very clean and careful work.
The wardrobes are beautifully fitted and exceed our expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending Lawrence Walsh. It was a pleasure from start to finish.

We ordered custom fit study furniture from Lawrence Walsh through John Lewis. The whole process from discussing the design through to agreeing the final plans and installation was seamless. The staff at Lawrence Walsh were professional, courteous and the fitters very tidy and did a great job. We are extremely pleased with our new study!

From the moment Dominic came out to see us through to the finishing and fitting of the furniture our experience has been excellent. Dominic was professional, listened to what we wanted and provided honest and helpful advice. The plans were sent in a timely manner and the fitting and delivery arranged with no issues.

I have to say the service from this company was absolutely exceptional. From measuring up to fitting was seamless. The process of removing the old wardrobes was done with care and consideration not only for my property but throughout the communal areas and staff were so professional and polite. The fitter was superb and did an absolutely amazing job of the wardrobes. I am so pleased with the finished results, it looks amazing and has increased my storage capacity hugely.

We have had several rooms fitted out by Lawrence Walsh over the years. Every experience has been brilliant and their after sales service is superb. Highly recommended.

Dominic even came back months later to help us refit a drawer that had been pulled off its runners. Can’t recommend highly enough!
