Dodgy Unresponsible Transfer Attorneys!

LDFLaw (LABUSCHAGNE DU PLESSIS FOSTER INC) is located in Meyersdal Mall, Alberton, Gauteng.

They were appointed by FNB after I had settled my bond, to handle the transfer of the bond. Honestly, the worst experience I have EVER had with a transfering attorney.

During the document signing process I had asked them to use specific updated legal names when transferring the deed to my + my wife's name. During the compliance process, FICA compliance was also done based on the same legal names and surnames as requested.

During the paperwork process, I had to resubmit and provide the same documents a couple of times. They were not organised at all.

When I went to go collect my deeds title they had not followed my instruction, and registered the deed on in the incorrect details. I immediately flagged this with them in their office after I spoke to their director Jos du Plessis.

During this conversation, naturally, it was labelled as "hearsay" by Jos, in stereotypical lawyer fashion. I went home and found the email in which the instruction was provided, and proceeded to ask them to rectify the issue.

My request was denied, and Jos directly informed me that he is of the opinion that they are not at fault. The cost to fix this is < R1500 on a R1m+ property. The cost is inconsequential; however, Jos and his partners refuse to take accountability.

They claim to have had a conversation with me where we "agreed" against my instruction; however, they can't provide any proof thereof.

Just another typical example of a legal firm being a stereotypical legal firm.

Stay far away from these dodgy and unscrupulous transfer attorneys.
