We really liked Grace
We really liked Grace! She was very patient, and we especially appreciated that she didn't just help Andrei solve the problems—she helped him understand the patterns behind them. By the end of the session, he was starting to work independently. It was a great first session, and we really appreciate her help. We will be signing up and look forward to continuing to work with her!

I am so delighted with the tutor match…
I am so delighted with the tutor match Learner found for our daughter, who is taking AP Math based Physics 1 & 2 - condensed into one junior year of high school.
Her teacher at school is a good guy who stepped into a difficult situation: the former teacher quit at the last moment and this teacher has not even taken Physics 2 himself in college.
So I really thought it was worth the investment to find a tutor experienced in teaching this course and I reached out to Learner.
Larry Zadnikar Jr not only teaches this class at this level on a regular basis, but as a bonus he has even taught Anatomy & Physiology to medical students - a serous windfall since my kid is also taking that class this year, and it is No Joke (I’ve taken AP 1 & 2 in college myself, and it is so intense).
So this is a really versatile STEM teacher, and my daughter will be able to go over the material from both subjects with one trustworthy person. Phew!
He seems kind, patient, and great about getting to the point and leading her through the work while having her do the thinking for herself. Wow, what a relief.
And my kid especially loves math, Calculus was one of her favorite classes of all time. So I am so glad she will be able to experience that joy of learning in math based Physics this year thanks to Larry Zadnikar.
I am so grateful that poor teacher stepped into teaching her course at HS this year, but boy do I wish all of the kids in that class could also get to benefit from going in depth over the material with someone who really knows it like Mr. Zadnikar does.
We are feeling so fortunate, especially my kid!

Kerry comes across as a bit judgemental to our son who is neurodivergent with ADHD. Adam reported that Kerry said in the session:" "You are really testing my patience." Not good for a paid tutor to ever say to a student.

Oliver really enjoyed working with Sandra. He appreciated how kind she was and said she was very helpful. Originally he was not too excited about having a tutor but after the session he seemed very open to it.
