DOUBLE CHARGED FOR SAME MONTH

Double charged in October and they said i booked the same plan twice in the same day. How is this possible? I always have the same plan and same price per month but in October they charged me twice. I only reliased when I was trying to attempt to activate this months service with the remaining funds. They dont accept any responsibility and say its my fault. I rarely use any of my calls / data and during the last month which I paid twice I was abroad for 1 week and couldnt use the service for calls or data at all. Using the phone abroad seems to be a problem as it isnt the first occasion I had problems. I will now be looking for an alternative company.

What can I say..

What can I say... The rating is deserved.
Every process is tediously long and complicated and nobody can help you no matter if you email them or call them.
Customer service really poor -they hang up on you without providing a solution.
Suggestion: choose a mode straightforward and uncomplicated provider. Simyo as an example.

Sim deactivated with no warning

Sim deactivated with no warning. Unable to speak to anybody, don't answer emails had to change network then they continue to take cash from my account and I can't stop them via the app as it says there's an error and to try again in a few minutes. That's a permanent message. Shame as it's a decent price and reception in my area.

Sim deactivated - no response to emails

My sim card has been deactivated saying that I have not used my phone for 90 days. I have been a customer for around 5 years and paid every month without fail. They have not responded to my emails for 2 weeks, left me without the use of my phone and yet have taken 30 euros from my bank account.

Liars and thieves

I have never experiences worse customer service than with Lebara Spain. Recently they updated their lines and their app. I filled in all my payment details again as I have always had automatic renewal. As always I received a sms a few days before informing me that my sim would be automatically renewed on the 30th of September. When I awoke nothing worked. It had obviously not been renewed as it should. I was visiting my sick mother aborad at the time and I borrowed her phone to get my partner to call Lebara in spain to fix it and also refund me my balance of 11,05 €. After 30 minutes at 2.99 € per mintute he was told they would call me back shortly and admitted that there had been a misshap with the autorenewals in general. I waited a day and nothing. My partner sent them an email explaining the situation and received a automatic reply that he would have an answer in 24-48 hours. We have still not heard anything. My partner in the end logged in online and sorted it for me as I had no internet access. I called Lebara today and they tell me that it was not set to auto renewal, even if I received an sms saying differently, and it was only them could verify that it was set to auto renewal in their system. I asked them kindly to reimburse me the money taken and also some of the roll over data (68000 almost), but i was told to prove it all. Before in the app, you could see money paid in and money used, and also if Lebara had given you any extra money. Now you can't see anything, and it is your fault when the auto renew does not work. The young man i talked to, said I should have called them to make sure all was in order after filling in all my dates again........ I would say this is a robbery. If 1000 people have not had the auto renewal go through and we all had 11 euros in our balance that means that Lebara has stolen 11.000 € for something that is not our fault. Stay clear of this company. the only good things they have is free calls to countries in Europe. Not worth all the hassle. 11 € is not much, but for me it is ab out the principle of it.

Avoid, avoid avoid!!!

Both mine and my husbands sim cards were deactivated because of lack of use in 90 days!!! We have been with lwbara for over 5 years and topped up every month and used daily!!! We had only topped up the night before and after countless emails they said if we git another sim card they would reinstate our numbers but they have no record of any payments even though I have se t them screenshot from their app and my bank. Went to a lebara store but they said they dont give out free sim cards its €10 each. Have gone with another mobile company now. Just avoid lebara at all costs

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

They do not deserve any stars. I have 2 on going issues, firstly i ordered and paid for a new sim for my daughter, it never arrived. Lebara do not have any record of it, i have supplied receipts and all the personal information and now they do not even bother to respond.
My other issue is that my account which i have had for many years has been deactivated due to lack of use in the last 90 days. I use the phone daily and i paid my last monthly fee on the 27th September so goodness only knows how they figured that out.
Today is day 4 of no service that i have paid for, day 4 of being ignored.i have sent emails, facebook messages and now resorted to putting comments on there Facebook posts just to try to get them to talk to me, still nothing.
PLEASE AVOID LEBARA AT ALL COSTS

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!

No customer service whatsoever. Had several bad experiences and left. Recently decided to go back, so bought a plan, porting number across. They sent me a sim card and that was it? When I mailed, they said I couldn't apply to port a number online. But, neither did I have a new number with the card, or any instructions. Over a month (and various intermittent mails) later, I have a paid for, useless SIM card and most recently, an instruction to go into a shop if I want to do anything with it. They are a disgrace, I won't bother 😡

I purchased ? 2019 & the previous one about 5 yrs previous

I purchased a lebara phone & sim in Tenerife. They said I had not topped up during my absence & I lost a considerable amount of money .
I returned to the shop & he sold me a phone which held 2 SIM cards . I put money on both & retrieved my old numbers . Unfortunately one SIM card was registered in another persons name & altho I had all the proof of purchase they would not accept it & as the shop was under new management they could not help . My other sim was registered in my name & I have kept putting money on it throughout covid but suddenly it has made this SIM card invalid too. ? Reason as I have ensured the top up has been done within the required period so hence I have now lost a considerable amount of money .I consider lebara not worth paying into .

AVOID - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Like many other people here, I've been topping up the SIM card every month and have been happy with the service. My last topup was 1/8/22, on the 3/8/22 I received notification that I haven't used it for 90 days and the account has been deactivated. After many emails to Lebara, mostly ignored, I'm told that they have a system problem, then it was a problem with the app, then they had checked the line and it was all working fine. Clearly it wasn't and I lost my credit for the month. I couldn't do anything in the app then as it was reporting that it wasn't a Lebara number.
I'm now with LOBSTER and touch wood everything is working fine.
Worst company ever, lacks proper customer service.

Terrible.Waste of money.

Terrible. Unable to access the Data I purchased. None of the APN's they provide work.
Customer service email and message service take 2 days to reply and provide no help at all.
Complete waste of money and time. Do not buy SIM from them!

My experience with Lebara
They deactivate my simcard last week and I was looking on Lebara App and found that SIM had been disconnected as it had not been used for 90 days. Total nonsense, in use every day for data and phone calls
I try to write to lebara but no rsponse and than I call them. I know about the problem and I shut change my simcardby a lebara shop. I did and they charge me € 10 and now I have Yoigo its not my choise and I spoke with a friend he is lawyer and against all laws.
And nobody is doing something still waiting for an answer from Lebara I sent the already 10 emails

Lebara SIM card issue + customer service issue

Purchased a Lebara SIM card in Spain mid April this year to use with a Mifi box. It has been in constant use since then for data and performance has been excellent - no complaints. Yesterday (Sept 1st) the SIM card stopped working. Looked on Lebara App and found that SIM had been disconnected as it had not been used for 90 days. Total nonsense, in use every day for data and last top-up of data was on 23rd Aug. Reported to Lebara (CAS -1153090-C8K8L6). Their response is that the problem has been fixed - it hasn’t and the data purchased on 23rd Aug has disappeared. So Lebara, if you are reading this, please fix the problem in your system which doesn’t recognise that your Sim is in constant use even if no calls are made. Please reactivate my SIM card and please reload the data I paid for on 23rd Aug. What you have done is completely unacceptable. Thanks.

Left me without my business phone due to a mistake in their system so bad that I had to port my number

Today I ported my Lebara mobile number to Lobster. Not this is not a paid for advert I am going to explain to you exactly what happened and why I am mentioning the other companies name. When Lebara went 5G they contacted me to collect a new sim from my local agent. The sim didn't work. After numerous visits to different agents which wasted hours of their time and ended in one of them screaming down the phone to the lebara call centre (This is the guy who spend 3 hours on the phone being told the same implausible story), I was told to contact customer services online. This just moved the problem from wasting the agents time to wasting hours and hours of mine. They told me that they had lost my account details locking me out of my own mobile phone account and then eventually told me that although they were billing me and i was paying them every month, the fact that they could not find my account was my problem leading to my business mobile phone to be disconnected. So now with no phone, missing essential business calls and definitely losing money, I looked around and Lobster had the best deal available for my requirements. So I contacted them to port my number. The reason I mention them is because the customer service was amazing. After weeks, and I mean weeks of struggling with Lebara and their so called customer service team Joanne from Lobster (who asked me to excuse her because she was under the weather on the day that I called so might have a bit of brain fog), found the problem in 5 minutes flat. The Agents at Lebara had entered my name wrong, so although they had digital copies of my ID, even the so called managers up the chain whom I escalated the problem to did not notice that this is why they could not verify my account. Weeks of time wasted and Joanne solved this enigma in 5 minutes flat. She then proceeded to get me up and running on my new package.
Now I can not give you a critique of Lobster as a provider because i've only been using them for half a day, but what I can say is that in a world where so many companies expect us to put up with shoddy or non existent service, Lebara Mobile stands out as one of the worst offenders, yes even worse that Facebook. I worked in customer service for years and I have never known a company to adbicate a problem to the customer as their fault even though the problem exists solely within the companies own systems. If you use Lebara the package seems cheap but promise you that you will lose all of your savings and more the moment you have a problem. In terms of customer care and professionality Trustpilot needs a 0 on this scale for me to rate them properly.

Mobile service provider bar none

This has to be the worst mobile service provider of all time. I contacted them with some issues re my sim and their app. Prompt reply. I supplied them with the info requested despite already giving them it. Another email oh we need more info. Duly sent....nothing back. Two more emails asking for an update....nothing back. Then a shitogram email....response oh we need the following information which they already have. The reply to you you give them info they then ask for more which you give them then silence.
So I have seen some bad reviews on here and some waste of space responds with a bog standard reply saying oh you didn't leave your contact details....ffs what dross. Then good reviews and the same waste if space responds with a bod standard blow the smoke reply. This company are a joke a total waste of space and how they operate is almost criminal. So waste of space reply man my ticket numbers for my issue is 53HLJK8M let's see what bulls**t you come up with. Pathetic company. Pathetic customer service. But great liars.

What a load of crap

What a load of crap - ok i managed to make and receive calls but no data, web pages don't load and the app keeps telling me that my sim is not a Lebara sim. S**t service- avoid like the plague

Lebara Spain: LIARS! Horrible customer Service!

I bought a sim card during my short visit to Madrid, from a Lebara sales point in the bus station “Principe Pio” for Euro 10.0. The sales woman was helpful and said it would give me 40 GB data and 500 int’l calls in all of Europe including Switzerland. She said roaming was autimatic and nothing to worry about plus unlimited calls in Spain.
Suisse/ Switzerland was also written on the leaflet she gave me. A few days later I arrived in Geneva and the SIM did NOT not work. No data and No calls possible! I asked another Lebara Kiosk in Geneva airport arrival hall and he told me the Spain Lebara SIM Card does Not work in Switzerland!! So, it’s a scam! Not only that, in Spain before I left Madrid, I could not call all nationsl numbers, some no’s you cannot call at all with this 10 Euro card. So, I added a 5 Euro balance to call Iberia 11821 and the 5 Euro finished in 2 minutes and I was cut off !
This too was never told to me. Clearly, this is not professional and not honest business ethics! Would never buy a SIM card from oLebara again, they are NOT Credible.
I called thei CS 2222 a dozen tumes, NO ONE answers if you choose ENGLISH, even if you wait 20 min. on the phone.
So, BEWARE the Cheap offers, It’s a lie!

Simply a primitive company

UNPROFESSIONAL,BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY.THEY NEVER ANSWER CALLS.WHEN THEY UPDATE THEIR SYSTEM THEY ASKED TO KEEP PHONE ON BUT STILL HAD TO CALL AND SPEND HOURS MODIFYING IT.SOME TIME AGO THEY MESSAGED CLIENTS THAT HAD TO CHANGE SIM CARDS AND THAT THEY WOULD BE FREE.THE TRUTH IS THAT THEY WERE NOT AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR NEW ONES.PRIMITIVE,UNRELIABLE COMPANY.EU OFFICIALS SHOULD INTERVENE AND REVOKE ITS LICENCE TO OPERATE.
