Hassle free replacement for a disintegrating knob on our ancient casserole dish lid. No charge and friendly service.
Lifetime Guarantee is a myth.
Lifetime Guarantee is a myth – shifting excuses over flaking enamel.
I am extremely disappointed with Le Creuset UK’s complete failure to honour their Lifetime Guarantee on a 24cm cast iron pot (a historic Cousances piece, a line acquired by Le Creuset in 1957).
The interior glass enamel is actively flaking off, creating a severe product safety hazard as sharp enamel particles risk ingesting into food.
Instead of addressing this safety issue, customer service has provided a series of contradictory and shifting excuses to deny a replacement:
1. First, claiming the item was simply too old to be covered.
2. Next, claiming the pot was unrecognised/counterfeit because of its square handles (ignoring their own brand history with Cousances).
3. Finally, claiming "overheating" after inspecting the physical pot.
After weeks of no resolution and complete silence across their support and social media channels, I have been forced to formally escalate this matter and document the entire paper trail publicly.
A brand built on heritage and premium lifetime commitments should stand behind the safety and quality of its cookware. Avoid relying on the "Lifetime Guarantee"—it appears to exist in name only.
1s class customer care
One of my Le Creuset cat iron pans had developed a crack which made it unusable. After contacting Le Creuset helpline they asked me to send it back so that they could inspect it. I was provided with a pre-paid label for this and duly sent it back. After a few days, I received a further email from a member to the Le Creuset helpline team asking me to choose an equivalent new replacement pan from their website. I chose the new pan and this was received by me approx 4 days after letting Le Creuset know my choice. The customer service that I have received regarding this issue (and one I had earlier whereby a pan handle had broken and was replaced) has been exceptional and I cannot praise Le Creuset and their Helpline team highly enough. All costs have been borne by Le Creuset and it is so refreshing to deal with a company where customer service and satisfaction (along with quality of product) are a top priority. I would not hesitate to recommend Le Creuset products to anyone in the future.
Excellent Customer Service Support
Very helpful friendly team, who went out of their way to provide a temporary solution for my pan until a permanent fix was available!

Oil cruet
Received my order of an oil cruet, unfortunately it was imperfect, contacted the Customer Helpline who were very helpful in organising a replacement item which arrived today. Returned faulty item easily at no cost.
Guarantee is completely meaningless - Always using the "overheating" excuse!
I am extremely disappointed with Le Creuset’s customer service and their so-called "Lifetime Guarantee."
Both pans ended up failing, and after sending emails and photos, their customer service rejected BOTH claims using the exact same excuse: "overheating."
It is clear that "overheating" is just a standard copy-and-paste pretext they use to avoid honoring legitimate warranty claims. If every issue is automatically blamed on the user as "overheating," then their "Lifetime Guarantee" does not actually exist in practice—it is an absolute joke and false advertising.
I originally paid a premium price specifically for the lifetime warranty. Having lost all confidence in this brand, I will never purchase from Le Creuset again. Save your money and buy from brands that actually stand behind their products.
Jennifer Glynn Le Creuset
Jennifer Glynn was very quick (and polite) in sorting out a small delivery issue. She also followed up, which is becoming more rare for companies.
Look forward to building Le Creuset collection.
Great customer service
Quick and efficient order and delivery. Then when one piece of my order was damaged during delivery, a replacement organised with no fuss or bother. A great example of customer service!
Guarantee not guaranteed!
After a lot of backwards and forward emails and photos they decided it was fair wear and tear, even with the lifetime guarantee and the dish still looking like new they decided the sandpaper effect I have ended up with on the interior of the dish is normal. The other dish I have had twice as long is still as it was when I bought it! In my opinion, you spend your money, you take your chance. I shall not chance Le Creuset again. Their guarantee isn’t worth anything at all. A German company offers superior dishes at more than competitive prices.

Dont buy the non stick stainless range
As a lifelong le creuset lover I invested in a hugely expensive set of the stainless pans when moving house to a place without an aga. Having cost me over £1000 for the set, I was disappointed to find that the non stick coating on my very expensive frying pan degraded and I sent it back- it was replaced without a quibble and I was impressed. They gave guidance on usage and we have followed it to the letter but 4 years later the same thing has happened. I have been very careful not to use at high heat and was without abrasives, but clearly it is a frying pan and does need to be fit for purpose- I have to be able to fry food in it!
I now see many people complaining of the same problem. They say they cant see evidence of a manufacturing fault so wont replace. This is not the same thing as guaranteeing the product- I would say the evidence is that the coating has failed.
Sending it to le creuset under their “lifetime guarantee” and they wont replace stating it shows “clear signs of overheating” but declining to tell me what those signs are . The bottom of the pan is shiny and there is no blistering or the non stick coating- its just degraded.
So I now have a white elephant of a useless pan that cost a fortune and my love affair with le creuset is well and truly over. If I had bought at tesco I would have expected this- and could afford to replace with ease.
I shall be buying cheaper product in future and would not recommend the stainless range.
