Thank you Jeremy
I visited Leekes Melksham recently and was very impressed with the quality of service provided by Jeremy. He was polite, kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. I have some mobility issues and following my purchases he then carried them to my car.
He is just a very special person. Thank you.
The 2 nice men who fitted our front…
The 2 nice men who fitted our front door was reliably, polite and very clean and tidy. And the door looked even better than I thought it was going to be and we are so happy with it.
Patio Door installation.
Our new patio door installed yesterday.
Excellent service from first appointment, to survey through to Steve and Simon the brilliant installers. They were polite, clean workers, excellent at their job and nothing was too much trouble especially as they had to build the doors in situ due to an awkward access. Thank you both.
Horrible company poor product
We purchased sliding doors from the Melksham branch last year. When the doors arrived we found nothing but issues with cracks in the glass and gouges in the plastic. They also damaged our walls and flooring and told us we could fix it by painting over it?! We told them about the damage immediately. They tried fixing the glass but replaced with more cracked glass. They apparently don’t check when leaving their warehouse in Wales as it’s not procedure. We’ve had specialist come out and have said the doors are not fit properly, they are balanced on small bits of plastic (they shouldn’t be) and that the doors are now sagging from the lintel. Skip forward several months and we are now with our credit card company fighting to have the doors removed and a refund. Leekes have told us they are going to sue us if we go through our credit card and are very hostile. For such a big company this was a surprise. Just avoid at all costs! Nothing but hassle and poor workmanship.
If I could give zero stars I would

Ordered a front door from the Cross Hands store and was delivered quickly initially. First door frame was damaged and the colour wrap peeling off, replacement was ordered. Second one the same but for some bizarre reason the still installed it. This time the installation was terrible with the door barely fitting….this happened three more time over two years.
The final version of the door I have been left with let’s the wind howl through the gaps and we are now worse off than when we had our original wooden door. The brickwork around my door frame is damaged and need severe remedial work after the installation teams repeatedly smashing the door frame out and my lock does not work properly. I had someone from Leekes out to view it and they said “we’ll be in touch with in two weeks to fix these issues. This was the last I saw of Leekes over a year ago.
I refused to pay for the door apart from the initial deposit and every time I call Leekes they say the account is closed and refuse to deal with me. I now have to get another company it to replace the brand new door Leekes left me with.
Do yourself a favour and shop around. Poor quality product even worse installation and customer service (if it goes wrong) is non existent.

They made 4 windows for my renovation…
They made 4 windows for my renovation of an extension. 1 of those windows got fitted into my daughters bedroom as it was cold. Since then I’ve had a new wall built and they came out to fit the other 3 and they don’t fit. Before you slate off my family member who has been a bricklayer for over 30 years. Part of the wall that I haven’t touched as it’s double brick at the start doesn’t fit. It’s short by about 45mm.
I’ve tried ringing numerous times and it’s answer machine every time.
2 years to complete job. Variable installers, poor quality fittings visits ++
Full house windows and doors fitted 2019. Job finally finished 2021.First fitters broke a window and forgot others. Damaged most other windows whilst installing. Numerous issues with unlockable doors, poor quality fittings (handles, hinges). Long waits for replacement parts. Late cancellations of visits Workmen arriving without parts or with wrong parts. Re-installation of another installers poor work. More than 10 visits to rectify issues. Not great. Our neighbour recommended (1 window 1 door fitted) He's had no problems. Variable. You choose.
Lovely job, expertly done
We've just had 3 windows, 1 front door and french doors supplied and fitted by two charming guys. Very impressed with the quality of the items and also the cheerful fitters. Lovely job well done. Thank you.
