Approaching her 7th birthday, my daughter Chloe has faced the loss of her mother to a brain tumor after a courageous 30-month fight. Despite these challenging times, after a session with Sebastian, Chloe eagerly wanted to join in, and so we signed up. Her passion and dedication to Martial Arts have been incredible. I am deeply appreciative of the team at Legacy for all they impart to Chloe and for having such a fantastic facility available in our community. It's been a perfect experience from my perspective, and the boost in Chloe's confidence is impressive. Thank you.

After a taster session with Sebastian, she asked frequently to join and so we did, she has taken to Martial Arts with such rigour and enthusiasm in spite of the circumstance and could not be more grateful to yourselves at Legacy for everything you teach Chloe and that such an amazing facility has opened in our town. My children attend Legacy and have grown in focus and confidence within a fun environment with a fantastic team.

They attend twice weekly and not only learn the physical aspect of martial arts, which supports their fitness they are always learning the standard and values involved in becoming a black belt. To be the best they can be.

Would recommend the Legacy team, especially to any children who are reluctant or lack in confidence, like my son does, the team support for each child supports their individual needs.

Having never done any martial arts before I was very nervous about attempting these classes. However, I was very quickly put at ease. The instructors are all very friendly and made me feel very welcome from the first class. The techniques learnt in class are always explained thoroughly meaning anyone can join in no matter your level, from beginner to advance, they cater for everyone's skill set.
I would highly recommend these classes to anyone who is hoping to build up their confidence, like me, or for those who simply enjoy a fun, energetic workout.

This is undoubtedly the best thing i’ve ever signed my son up for. The skills taught and the focus on discipline and respect are life changing. I could not recommend highly enough.

Having tried to get my son into many other sports with him showing little interest, he wanted to try learning a martial art following a few playground incidents. He's been going now for six months and loves it! He was made up last month to pass his first grading. Alex, Elaina and all the other instructors are excellent with the kids, instilling discipline and good morals as well as making the sessions good fun. The online portal is really useful to practise at home. My son has come so far and now shows a genuine enthusiasm to improve and work towards his black belt.

The whole team at Legacy are brilliant. My son is 10 and only started in December! He loves it so much that he now goes 3 times a week! The discipline taught throughout the sessions is well balanced with the technical skills too which is great! Whilst there are varying capabilities and ages in each session the instructors adapt and encourage group participation and team work to support all abilities. All of the above supports the whole ethos and values of legacy and promotes a ‘black belt’ attitude.

I’ve had a life long desire to venture into martial arts but there has always been an excuse. Having started with legacy, I simply wish I had found them earlier. Very welcoming, friendly family atmosphere but also very experienced and great teachers of the arts. Varied classes and great for fitness, confidence and learning more about your body. I’m very much looking forward to my journey in martial arts and having legacy as my instructors and guides. Recommend to anybody thinking about taking that step

Started training with Legacy Martial Arts in December 2021 and I have thoroughly enjoyed every session I’ve been to. Alex, Elaina and Ollie are so friendly and I felt welcome from my first session. They are really encouraging and are always on hand to give you tips on technique. Really looking forward to continuing training with Legacy.

Alex, Elaina and Oli make you feel so at home! Started off just to get myself fit and has become a real hobby for me now. If you’re a beginner or more experienced it is perfect for everyone.

A really friendly class. Elaina, Alex and Ollie are such patient instructors, who really support the class. Added to that, it's a brilliant way to get fit whilst learning a new skill. Highly recommended.

From the first enquiry we found the team at Legacy to be exceptionally friendly and courteous. Our son attends the classes and from the outset it was very clear that Alex, Elaina and Ollie were offering much more than learning martial arts. It's very much a lifestyle choice heavily based on respect first and foremost, and promoting the black belt attitude. As brilliant as the lessons are, and it's awesome how much our son has learnt so far, it's also the care and consideration outside of the lessons that sets Legacy apart. The follow up phone calls to make sure he was fine after he needed a breather during a lesson, the welcome postcards before you join, everything builds towards the fact that you feel very much part of a team that genuinely cares about you. As Bruce Lee said, "It's not what you give, it's the way you give it".

My 7 year old boy absolutely adores going to Legacy twice a week, and is working hard to achieve his tags and hopefully a grading soon. It is helping him to focus, burning off excess energy and is giving him confidence and skills I hope he can use and apply to other areas in life. We hold the instructors with high regard and cannot recommend them more. They are fun but firm, as training is not a party or a place to mess about but somewhere kids can gain so much from and enjoy themselves along the way. If I was in greater physical health I would consider the adult classes for myself but for now I gain a great sense of enjoyment from watching my boy achieve and thrive. It's wonderful.

I'd never tried any martial arts until attending one of their classes. They put me at ease, explained everything really clearly and Alex & Elaina are so approachable. I like their teaching style and feel pushed every class, it's a good workout. The club has a really friendly feel, and respectful practises, which has kept me coming back every week.

Superb sessions led by Alex & Elaina! Clear, precise and very enjoyable! Its something i didnt think i would have the confidence to do but they make everyone feel welcome regardless of your ability. I would highly recommend coming along to these classes.

Alex and Elaina are fun, friendly instructors that will accommodate to your level, push you when they know you can do better and are extremely good at what they do.

Great for building confidence that you never thought possible, great for your body and your mind, great for building physical and mental strength and building the knowledge to know how to protect yourself if needs be.
Great as an outlet for pent up emotions and pent up energies.

If you're in two minds wether to try this out.. don't think, just do!! You have nothing to lose, just a lot to gain 😊
