Legend Removals Ltd Reviews 

Moving from one country to another is stressful enough but Legend Removals made our move a total nightmare. They lack organisation and planning which is needed to do their job properly. Perhaps the ones who had a good experience paid for their premium package. I paid for their standard package and had the most stressful removal experience ever.

First off, they couldn't confirm the collection date or delivery date. No other removal firm will give you a 2-14 day window. With Legend, we had to constantly chase them for an update. When we finally had a driver collect our stuff on Monday morning, he said he'd be crossing the border (France/UK) that evening. If so, any other removal companies would have delivered by Wednesday but they put our belongings in storage instead. They didn't communicate this so we emailed them to find out what was going on but didn't receive any response. It was only when we called them on Friday they said they didn't have drivers available to deliver, and they would try to deliver our stuff the following week Thursday! That really pissed us off so we pressured them to deliver by the weekend and they finally agreed to deliver on Sunday.

Secondly, they were not careful when handling the boxes and furniture. They dropped boxes and furniture in front of us but didn't even apologise. We could have gotten additional insurance, but they made it sound like the minimum insurance they provided was enough. They said they make sure the driver delivers everything in good condition by deducting money from their salary if there was any damage en route. However, the damage occurred during loading/unloading several times (as they put our stuff in storage), so we had to deal with compensation for damaged goods, which was another frustrating process. Due to deductibles, we ended up getting barely anything back.

We only went with Legend Removals because their initial quote was cheaper than some other ones but we ended up paying more due to their inability to estimate the total weight of our goods. One would think with their experience, they would have a good idea estimating the weight of all the goods. But it seems that they estimate low in order to charge their customers more when they collect and weigh everything. They also charged extra for them to hire a local person to help load/unload. I can't imagine any removal company sending just the driver to do all the loading/unloading and carry heavy furniture. The initial quote should have included two people working, not one.

Overall, it was the worst removal company I've ever worked with (and I've moved a lot). Save yourself from misery and go with another removal firm.

Very unhappy with the service.
- The Delivery from UK to France took longer than expected. - They were unable to provide me with a delivery date in advance for me to book a parking space.
- They didn't wrap any of the furniture so most of it arrived damaged.
- It was impossible to get someone on the phone after I had paid the quote to solve all the issues.
- I was told the day before the delivery that I needed to find someone to help the driver carry the heavy items because there was only one person for EU deliveries which wasn't specified when I booked the service over the phone.
- After receiving my damaged items, I raised a claim since I took the insurance and it's been 10 days and I still haven't heard back and no one is picking up the phone.

Not one for reviews really, but must thank Jamie and his team for the huge help in moving my family to Spain, as a single mum, I was so overwhelmed by all the paperwork(sooo much paperwork) but they got me through it.

We recently used Legend Removals to move from our old house in Bristol to our new one in Madrid. The service was absolutely amazing! The team was friendly, professional, and efficient. Our personal sales manager Nataly was always online and supported us throughout the process and Maria took care about the paperwork and saved our time on submitting customs documents. The both drivers Alexander and Victor were nice and helpful guys.They arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully to ensure that all of our belongings were safely and securely packed and transported. All the items reached our destination in good condition. The entire process was stress-free and we were very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Legend Removals!

We had excellent service for our move from Munich to London. All the guys were friendly professional and kept us informed at every stage. Packing, Customs, Unpacking was really brilliant!
They made the whole process far less stressful. I recommend them very highly.

They refused TO FINISH MY MOVE from france to uk.
They just left me stranded with lots clothes and furniture and decorations and I cannot leave because of their AWFUL organisation.
Second time They stand me up.
They are stressful.
They are rude.
The manager is based in Peru ! Impossible to reach before 4pm.
I still do not know to that point how am gonna clear my appartement for the next tenant and move lots across the Channel.
OH THEY LEFT WITH HALF EMPTY VAN SO THEY COULD CHARGE ANOTHER JOB.

Better pay a bit more but have a really professional move.

I packed 100 wine glasses all afternoon because they save on glasses boxes.

They did not bring the 8 double wardrobe but 5 singles!!!!!

They promised 3 vans and movers and I meet just 2.

Very happy with the service, well organised. I specially liked the fact that the admin was automatized although it was possible to speak with a human being if necessary. The delivery to France was faster than expected and nothing was lost or damaged. The driver was friendly and patient. I would use them again.

Moving is always a very stressful period, but Scott, Natalja, and Maria made everything smooth and effortless for me!
My move was from London to Paris, and there was a lot I was uncertain about since it was a first experience for me.

Scott from the Sales Team, kindly took the time to answer my many questions and gave me full transparency on everything I needed to know.

It can get a little confusing when you have a bunch of different quotes, not knowing which one to go forward with. Ultimately, my decision to choose Legend Removals was because of the high level of service and communication Scott gave me, and my gut was right!

The entire process was fantastic, and the drivers were lovely and professional.
Everything arrived within two days, and in the same condition that they left London.

I have used Legend x2 and always had a very good experience - they always answered my emails promptly and accommodated all my pick up snd delivery times and dates. Excellent job!

I can’t recommend them enough.

As one other reviewer said, if I could give them a zero I would. Awful service from the point I received the first email confirmation for pick-up.

They completely ignored my preferred pick up date and even charged me additional fees while still not meeting my preferred pick up date. They did not even have a legitimate excuse e.g. it was a busy period or lack of available space etc. It was stated they don’t want “empty vans” running so they booked me on an earlier pick up date which was on the Easter Monday holiday.

In the end, moving a 1 person apartment with no furniture cost me over £2300.

Wish I had trusted my instincts after reading the 1 star reviews I saw here. You’re better off using a moving company that gives you a realistic quotation from the outset.

They were one of the cheapest quotes I received, beware not to fall for that, they will make you pay a lot more later!

I used Legends for a move from NL to UK for my father. They were pleasant and professional every step of the way, from initial contact and quotation to delivery of the shipment. Everything was handled in a timely and efficient manner in about a week. The staff were all helpful and efficient, keeping us well informed at each stage of the process and it all ran like clockwork.
I would recommend them to anyone that needs this type of service. They really make something that is very stressful, much more manageable and that is priceless!

The Company does on purpose "last minute change" to add you additional fees. In my case i informed them in advance that the day selected from them for delivery was not suitable due to limited traffic areas restriction for an event and they confirmed till the very last minute for then rescheduling and adding extra-fee to my request of changing day.

I had a very good experience with Legend Removals, moving from the UK to France. They were very helpful at every step, from the paperwork to cross the border, the packing, the removal and the delivery. Everyone was perfectly on time and very professional.

Following a research made online, I subsequently received estimates from some removal companies. My choice (to send several cubic meters of plastic boxes with various sizes) was finally confirmed with Legend Removals: the price established was on the basis of the information provided to them.

The first contact with the salesman assigned to me was brilliant: it took place during the Christmas period, which I know is more intense than usual for companies working in this field. I sent him some pictures and a video survey. I noticed from this first step, I was then supported by this sales person very professionally throughout the whole procedure. I received precise and detailed answers about methods and costs options for the service that I was looking for.

Step by step, even other departments, from administration to logistics, all amazed me with the efficiency shown to me.
It is very easy to use their online payment method, and then there is excellent company / customer communication regarding the support for filling out some necessary documents to attach.

The management of delivery times is also excellent (which they have perfectly respected, as agreed on my signed paperwork); this is thanks to those who have always taken care to monitor my order, always providing me with precise indications.

In addition, those who loaded in London and others that unloaded in North Italy my voluminous shipment in the means of transport were very careful, precise and very kind. I immediately noticed the foresight of how everything was handled! They complied with all the safety and security standards for them, and above all by acting with the utmost care and attention (considering the narrow space of practicability of the house in which I lived) in not doing any damage. At the end, all the boxes were delivered to me in perfect condition.

Last but not least: the price paid was absolutely –in comparison with all the other estimates- the most convenient, and "without any final surprising" additional cost: sales workers of this company are precise and correct from the beginning to the end.

The amazing experience offered to me, and which I sincerely immediately recommend to anyone who wants to move their stuff, is considered by me to be a *******7 Stars!*******

I moved from France to the UK. Legend Removals team was very helpful and efficient. Gabrielle was very responsive to my questions. The driver came to collect/deliver on time and get things done very quickly. The only thing I think needs to be improved is the estimation of delivery time. I had to pay extra fees to storage because of the uncertainty of delivery time.

I was really happy with the move. Everything went smoothly and all goods arrived intact in Brussels. Good price point, too.

Kirill Glukov was the sales operator who I communicated with. He is very professional, polite, and on top of everything.

The driver was also friendly and helpful.
