Theway Dean Prosser managed my removals experience was outstanding! I was experiencing some very trying personal circumstances, unable to think and plan clearly, but Dean wrapped me in cotton wool and took care of everything for me. He presented me with options that I had not even considered (storage solutions), was always quick to respond to my queries, and treated me like a valued individual rather than just a client. My only slightly negative experience came from my dealings with the Operations Dept, and whilst I fully understand the pressure and criteria that they must work to, I needed their reassurance to be communicated in a more personal manner regarding the collection of my possessions. Communication was again very efficient but was delivered in a slightly more brusque and negative manner.

Well - bottom line, I did the same video viewing I did for 5 other companies to compare estimates. It was a house move about 15 minutes from house to house.

The other companies gave me an estimate in the £2,000 range.

First - this company an estimate of £23,110 - over £20,000 higher than all the other companies.

when I questioned then on this, the reply I got was that they made a mistake, they confused me with another job and thought i was moving to Spain.

So then they come back with £5735 only over twice as much as the other estimates.

So this is where I decide not to do business with them. My Advice - get more than one estimate on your move.

I recently had to make a very last minute move of a storage unit full of personal belongings from London to Amsterdam. This was on very short notice, shortly before Christmas and after trying several different moving companies I was basically made aware this would not be possible, and if it all possible - it would be extremely expensive. Then a friend recommended Legend, and they managed to organise it within less than a week, for an extremely competitive cost. I dealt with James at Legend, and from our first exchange his help was nothing less than perfect. Extremely helpful, very proactive and on the ball, and all in all was a huge support for what was for me - quite a stressful move. All of my belongings arrived within days in Amsterdam, all in perfect condition. I rarely take the time to write reviews but in this case I really wanted to take the time to. Legend Removals and James were absolutely brilliant, I'd recommend them to anyone, and if I have any similar moves happening in the future they will be my first point of call.

They delivered the goods on time and without any damage. James was very helpful with the quote and preparation of the documentation.

Overall our experience was very good.

Especially the sales representative Kirill Glukov was ontop of things. He followed up with us repeatedly and even provided after-sales-services (following up with the operations team, etc.).

Overall there could be some improvements to the communication regarding delivery - our delivery ended up taking two full weeks and was only scheduled after repeated phone calls.

The packers were also fantastic - unbelievable speed, care and very accommodating.

We will use this service again for our next move.

I was moving from Austria to the UK and this company delivered an excellent service! Kirill supported me throughout the whole process from the booking to the operation and the team kept me informed all the time. All went well, all of the team were very kind and friendly and I would 100% recommend.

I contacted Legend Removals because their quote was the cheapest from all of those I had received. Kirill, in charge of my case, was very helpful from beginning to end, and the driver/deliverer went out of his way to ensure that all of my belongings could be fitted in the truck to come with me to the UK.
There was no damage during transport and overall, I recommend Legends Removal for an international move.

Overall a good experience, but let me get through this step by step.

I had to move from UK to Austria for personal reasons (was in UK only for a few years for work) and everything had to go at a fast pace.

From the beginning, Kirill from Sales Team as well as Maria and Lou from Documents did an amazing job to keep in touch and answer all my questions. I felt comfortable with this company from first contact until it came to the actual transport.

This may sound worse than it actually is, so let me explain. The operations team, in my case Jay, simply did not reach out to me about changes in plans or delivery on his own. To his defense, it was during the most stressful time for movings of the year - in the middle of summer.
I still got all the information I needed, after I asked for it, so at least that line of communication was working.
At some point Natalja took over from Jay and I got all the information I needed upfront, without me asking all the time.

In the end, I was promised a 2-3 weeks delivery and got my goods save after 4-ish weeks, but again, there were some issues like one transporter broken down, which I was informed about, so the delay in delivery was announced and I won't complain too much about this.

Overall, besides the communication with the operations team being kind of one-sided, it was a very pleasant experience and I'd probably book them again if I have to move again.

I came to Legend Removals via the "Umzugsauktion" tool (a service from immowelt), to organize my move from DE to the UK.
Of course, at first you ask yourself whether everything will really work out (especially when it's a big move abroad), but my fears were quickly taken away.

I was called about the next steps, received all the important information (including the things that have to be arranged in advance for the move) by email and was therefore able to prepare myself perfectly for the move.
An estimate of the quantities is given in advance and shortly before the move, a detailed list is submitted with all the boxes and furniture. The payment takes place in advance - here you can choose different insurance options.
In my case, the things were picked up from the 3rd floor and delivered to the 1st floor at the destination (boxes and furniture were carried into the apartment). The mattresses were still wrapped in foil when they were picked up (included in the service).

Legend Removals came to pick up at the desired time, informed 2 days in advance which day and which time window it will be final, and called in good time on the pick-up day. Just like before they arrive at their destination. The items were in the UK in just 6 working days! The pickup and delivery people were very nice, accommodating and careful with the items.

The team always responded quickly to emails and was available by phone.

I can warmly recommend the company, I'm glad how uncomplicated everything went and I felt I was in good hands at all times.

Honestly, I was a bit concerned about their services initially, after I saw the negative reviews, but Kirill and the rest of the team reassured me and proved you were unfairly judged by those reviews.

I have been immensely satisfied with their service. In terms of improvement, I don't think I could find anything to improve upon. 2 days from pickup to delivery, consider me impressed!

Kirill was a legend (pun intended), especially with all the headaches and delays which were caused on my end.

Your documents team were on point when I had sent my documents over, and your driver/delivery guy was prompt and efficient in his delivery.

5 star service all round. I will 100% come back to you in the event I need to move back to the UK in the future!

Items were packed and moved quickly, a few items damaged but they made it right.

Emails are answered within a day. Kirill in particular was very helpful and worked hard to answer questions and help solve issues.

It would be helpful if the company could ship boxes ahead of time so people can pack their own items. Also, when the company packs things it would be great to have some labels on the boxes to track what has gone into them.

Everything was taken care of Gabrielle was very helpful with all the paperwork and the Drivers where excellent. Legend Removals are on of the best Companies I ever known.

Very good service. We had a last minute request to move boxes from Switzerland to the UK and despite no empty vans being available they managed to include our stuff in a partially filled moving truck. It was surprisingly inexpensive for an international move and all our stuff arrived quickly and undamaged. Kirill Glukhov was very helpful in organising it and was very accommodating.

These guys are truly legends.
I was relocating from the UK to Germany and they helped me a lot and made my move much easier.
My special thanks to Elena, Natalia and the driver Olexander, who were incredibly responsive and supportive.
One of the items (my favourite bike) was not available when the pick up was scheduled, so they arranged a special pick up just for my bike.
All the steps were covered by Elena and Natalia, all the questions were answered, all the items were delivered and re-assembled :)

Moves are chaotic at the best of times, and it was especially so in our case as our stuff was in storage in another country and we could not be there to help load the vehicle. We booked and then cancelled storage facilities in London, rescheduled the pickup at the last minute, and also our estimate of the weight of the shipment was way off. Each time, the operations team (Natalja Bukrei and Jay Stepanov) and Scott McCutcheon from Sales accommodated our changing requirements with no fuss and made sure our stuff arrived safely in London.
I should also mention the friendly helpful driver who had to jump through hoops to get access to the storage facility for the pickup.
Everybody was friendly, efficient, and prompt. Will definitely be using Legend the next time I need to move.

Had concerns as it was not local removal company. Removal day the team arrived late (about 1 pm) due to traffic which caused stressed how to manage the job that day.
However, the team was professional and helpful and made sure the job was done before leaving.
Dean Posser was super fast reacting on my messages and supported me throughout the removal day.

So here are the FACTS…

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Please AVOID this company, I used them to move my home from Geneva to UK in September 2022 - it was a disaster from beginning to end.

They sent ONE man with ONE van to move my 2 bedroom flat, who refused to dismantle the 2 beds as he said he was not given that direction even though that was the service I had specifically asked for. I had also asked for 2 men and a LORRY.

They only tell you the removal date 48 hours before coming, so I could not book the parking bay or my flight to leave Geneva.

FACT I had to help carry heavy 50kg furniture as of course ONE MAN could not manage alone. I am a woman in my mid 50s 157cm & 48kg moving down 3 flights of stairs a 50kg headboard!

FACT I was very transparent in what needed to be moved and they under-quoted me. On the move day they stopped 2/3rds way through the move and said cant take anymore we have reached weight limit.

FACT Could not get hold of ANYONE at the UK office.

FACT Finally someone called the driver at 5pm end of day who agreed if I pay 30% more than the orginial quote (and make payment on the spot) they would take the remaining furniture and store in in Swiss facilities for a week and bring it a week later - this became ONE MONTH LATER. FACT

I felt conned & blackmailed. They made a difficult day an absolute nightmare, my stress levels went through the roof and I even ended up fainting. FACT.

FACT It was impossible to get hold of the same person twice and my original contact was with Scott McCutcheon who NEVER called me back. They seem efficient and great on the phone and then BEWARE! AVOID!!!!

I would love to report this company so if anyone can help me do that. I do not want anyone to go through what they put me through.

They said, I never paid for the dismantling of beds. I asked for it, but they never added it to the invoice. FACT.

They admit it was their fault as I was supposed to be sent 2 men with 2 vans and for some unknown reason this got changed. FACT.

Not my fault but I had to pay and extra £1080 on top of my quote to rectify THEIR MISTAKE. Then they made me pay for the Swiss storage facility. FACT.

I cannot understand any of the good reviews. My experience was a DISASTER. AVOID LEGEND REMOVAL AT ALL COSTS. FACT.
