Microbakery and baking classes. LEKITO is an award winning microbakery, specialising in a small range of wonderful breads, tarts, cakes and buns. We believe in Real Bread, no preservatives or other additions commercial bakers use. Artisan bread and pastries. We bake to order and also attend markets where the Lekito stall is always popular. In 2022 we won a Gold Award at the World bread Awards. We also love to teach bread baking in small friendly classes with award-winning baker, Keith Kirby. Classes are in Keith’s own kitchen in Wavendon, where participants learn a range of skills and get to bake a variety of breads or other bakes. Every class is hands-on, and everyone goes home with lots of things for friends and family to try, along with recipes. And a life-skill that will last forever!

Keith is an amazingly calm and patient tutor on this hands-on bread course.
The course is fantastic and informative and oh boy, did it result in lots and lots of different types of bread all produced in the one day.
I have been on a few other cooking courses and this one was definitely the best.
No wonder he’s an award winner and let’s not talk about his marmalade which is the very best marmalade I and all my friends have tasted! Well earned 5 stars.

We compare all sour dough breads to Keith’s and his win hands down! We are also big fans of his award winning focaccia and orange marmalade. Artisan bread at its best!

I've been a fan of Lekito for a while now and their products are always fantastic quality - I've literally never bought anything from them I didn't love. The sourdough is always popular in our house, but for me it's the Panettone and the Chocolate Babka that are the showstoppers - both are amazing.

Absolutely fantastic baker. Favorites are the butternut sourdough and the goats cheese olives and thyme focaccia … but everything is delicious!

Keith is so passionate and knowledgeable about bread-making he makes a great teacher.
Perfect opportunity to get hands-on and learn the basics and then step it up to produce a variety of delicious loaves to take home.
Very enjoyable baking experience and I can imagine it being great fun with a group too.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious bread, Keith is a master baker and everything we have tried has been delicious- especially loved our panettone!

Lekito makes delicious Sourdough bread and the best Pistachio doughnuts I have ever tasted. I have bought them at the Woburn Sands Market. I also bought his panettone in December and for someone who's never liked panettone before I am converted. Oh, the cantucci I bought for my mum, who said it was delicious.

Lekito is always our go to for some sweet treats, they are delicious especially his jam doughnuts!
Over Christmas, I ordered some cantucci and amaretti biscuits as gifts for friends and they loved them!
Thank you Lekito!

I did the sourdough course with Lekito recently. Keith is a knowledgeable teacher, and the small class size allows for individual attention. I left with plenty of bread and some useful techniques. However, I felt the course could have been more structured, and the pacing was a bit uneven at times. Overall, it’s a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement. Three stars.

We had a wonderful day baking bread with Keith; such a great teacher and host and an absolute expert baker of course! The class is held in a beautiful space with all the best equipment. We made SO much delicious bread, every variety of Italian bread I could think of and so many more. I have no doubt we will be taking more Lekito classes in the future!

I did the Intro to Sourdough course with Keith recently. I had a fantastic time, you learn a massive amount on the day and get great hands on experience. The day massively improved my confidence and it was great to learn from someone who has developed their own techniques and isn't afraid to question conventional methods.
The course is great not just for what you bake on the day but also the techniques and recipes that Keith shares with you to take away.
I'd recommend the course for people of any level looking to improve their skills!

This is a wonderful course. Keith is a great teacher able to encourage a complete beginner (me) and keep the much more experienced other attendees engaged and learning. We did a variety of sourdough breads. The produce I took home was welcomed by my friends, one of them of Eastern European origin told me that the rye loaf I gave him was a taste from his childhood , he had not found anything as good since coming to uk.

Great Intro to Sourdough Course! I already managed to improve my home baking!

Gifting myself to Keith's Introduction to sourdough bread lessons was the best thing I have ever done to myself. He is a skilled baker and a very good teacher. He answered all our queries patiently and we managed to bake loads of breads and some crackers too.
Will definitely be going back to Keith for some lessons on desserts and pastries.

I was given the Introduction to Bread course as a present and what a present it was.
Absolutely amazing day. Keith is really a patient teacher and very knowledgeable and I made so many different types of breads that I was not expecting, I had to give some to my friends.
Keith also made us a 2-course lunch which I would highly recommend.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is interesting in baking bread.

I did the Introduction to Bread course and was surprised at how comprehensive the course was. We made several different types of bread including rolls all of which were delicious. The bread also freezes really well which is good as there was so much to take home. We also had a delicious lunch rounded off with the best raspberry tart I have ever tasted. Would totarecommend this course.
