Where do we begin? The indoor Meyer Lemon Trees have been so disappointing. We absolutely love lemons and lemon trees and have success with other trees and plants!!! However, there is a very real large problem going on with them we think genetically. We live right near VT and have followed their top insight...along with everything Meyer and the internet describe specifically for these trees for fresh air, sunlight, watering, the right fertilizer, and in the warm months, taking them out of the house and putting them on the deck for sunlight, fresh air, etc. We have followed everything to the letter of the law and even periodically played classical music for them as crazy as that sounds. We were so excited and sank so much time and money into these with the right size posts, larger pots in time etc the the right soils, specific fertilizers, timing, and so on. Final conclusion: Many of the Meyer Lemon trees are in mass quantity genetically defective! Sooo much time, money, and care went into these!!! I believe about 6 different ones that eventually all died, with so many problems. Even the local experts agreed! We purchased them from I think both Lowes and Home Depot through the years and other order sites...and every MEYER Lemon tree has felt like such a rip-off of something very different from the claims. Not to mention through the last 3 years or so, the great disappointments with my children and wife. I don't even have the time to write this, but after years of this, we had to stop and be honest about their trees and so took a few minutes to post. STAY AWAY! We believe so many of these trees by the thousands are being pawned off to the general public. So DISSAPOINTING. Note, we have since run into other families just in passing with the same experiences. We soooo hoped at least one or two of these would work out; but instead were left with nothing...after so much time, care, and money.

Our Meyer lemon tree arrived intact and healthy and ready to plant. It arrived before father's day and we are into July, minimal leaf loss, healthy green leaves, strong stem, no critters. We keep it in a 3 gallon pot sitting on the patio. This plant is loving its well draining soil, hanging out in the rain, sunshine, and humidity. Looking into a grow light for our gray fall/winter/early springs.

It was very easy to order the tree online. The description said the tree would be 3 to 6 feet in height, and it was closer to 6 feet high when it arrived. The tree was healthy and was packaged carefully. Best of all, it arrived before Father's Day, as promised. Great work!

I set out on an excursion to find good quality citrus trees. I viewed all the big well known places that were highly advertised but wasn't satisfied...then I found LemonCitrusTree and immediately sold on them. They offer a wealth of knowledge, always seem available, great prices and beautiful tree and plants. In Feb I bought 2 Calamondin, Persian Lime, then in March bought a Hamlin Oange, 2 Haas Avocado and a RubyRedGrapefruit. Just added 2 more grapefruit and another avocado. 3 orders...they all looked great and the custumer service outstanding. I am in centrap Indiana and will be mov8ng these all into GH fprnthe winter. I love shopping there...their love for their plants and trees is very obvious and they are there to help you be successful w yours. LemonCitrusTree gets outstanding marks from us.

On this occasion, plants (Kaffir lime) were delivered in excellent conditions. Growers clearly took pride in the plants. Beautifully shaped. Now duly planted and are features of our in-house decoration; we live in IL so cannot leave them outside all year round. Would give a 6 stars if I can!

I ordered a mulberry tree. Communication was very good. Tree was over 3 feet which was better than expected and in good shape. Well, I did request my tree the tree I ordered be shipped a week later and that didn't happen. This could have been a problem if my wife was not home. The FAQ they provide for how to take care of a tree is detailed, very helpful, and very important not to overlook.

The support is super helpful to a beginner! Tree arrived safe and beautiful.

I ordered my clementine tree in 2018 and it's still doing wonderfully!! I saved my paperwork and just emailed the company a question on Sunday and Crystal got right back to me the next business day and was even able to find my order in their system from 6 years ago and answer my questions. Amazing service and quality! Would highly recommend them! Their pricing is MUCH better than competitors as well. Very pleased with this company!

Before buying from this company I’ve read many bad reviews saying how the branches were snap/broken. However, I gambled through because it’s a little cheaper & there were more positive reviews than negatives. My Owari Satsuma arrived DAMAGED just as how others have described. The two branches on top had SNAPPED. The tree was shipped in a very slim box so it will be on its side during shipping. There were no additional cardboards in place inside to keep the tree from sliding vertically. There were no dents or major damage on the box so it was not the carriers fault. I contacted them with details & photos. They replied back telling me how specific they want the photos taken & angle, compress the photo sizes, & label each photo by #. So I had to do all of that again & resend my photos. They responded saying it’s fine so they won’t be doing anything for me. This company is CARELESS with their trees when shipping. Every store I ordered from online had at least paper in it with the package to keep it in place. Their system that they use seems to be back in the 90’s or something, needs a system upgrade & improvements on shipping. NEVER have I ever had to deal with a company like this. I promise you, this will save you your TIME & MONEY. Buy from another company & save yourselves the headache. You rather be a happy customer with a happy healthy tree than a not so happy customer with snapped tree branches for just a higher price with another company. Do research & read reviews. I saw two companies with better reviews, but with higher prices. Not by much, but gamble if you wish.

Great product and excellent customer service. When I had an issue with the shipment received their customer service immediately addressed the concern and exceeded expectations in doing so. Highly recommend.

I received a lemon tree as a gift from my best friend. I was thrilled because it's something I see every day, which reminds me of her. So much better than a bouquet of flowers that is gone in a week. It produced 5 lemons in the 1St 6 months & now has many flowers 6 months later.
Because I liked it so much, I sent one to my sister for her birthday.

This review is from our experiences from last spring 2023 and this current spring. All of our dealings with this company through Nancy has been outstanding. She has answered all questions without hesitation and has offered hints and suggestions on how to give our plants the best care. Our experiences with the various plants ordered last year have been of 5 star quality, the citrus trees are showing signs of bearing fruit and tiny olives are in clusters all throughout the tree. We are looking forward to our new order. I am closing this review with…this company is highly recommended!

Lisbon lemon tree arrived well packed and in beautiful condition. Perfectly described in the listing, but still larger than I expected. Healthy and strong with full leaves.

This was the second citrus tree I've ordered and both arrived promptly, well packaged and in good health. They both arrived with blossoms and are thriving.

Customer Service! Beautiful Trees! Lots of great information to set the customer up for success!

In early January, I ordered 2 dwarf trees for an indoor environment - a lemon and avocado. First, they contacted me to let me know they wouldn't ship them from the South to the North until they could be sure the weather was appropriate and a freeze wouldn't kill them on route. And they kept me posted as the weather got warmer, when they were on their way. Then, once initially shipped, we noticed a multi-day delay in Louisiana and subsequently the avocado tree arrived seriously damaged - literally snapped in half - and you could tell the damage was several days old due to the break being dried out. We immediately contacted them and they started the paperwork to send us a new tree while we proceeded to file an easy claim form so their company could reclaim the damage from the shipper. Our new tree arrived quickly and it's gorgeous! Pristine condition - a heat pack was still warm and the soil moist.

I know that my grow lights exceed their recommendations, and how often and with what type of water I need to use to keep them happy and healthy.

Would highly recommend.

This company has a lot of helpful information for caring for the trees. My husband purchased a tree a while ago from this company so I reordered. The trees are lovely and one is in bloom.
