Lets Make Homes 

I was extremely lucky to stay in Lets Make Homes property in Hamilton. It was a beautiful flat, freshly decorated and in excellent condition. In the 12 months I stayed there the couple of minor issues I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I cannot fault the service from Lets Make Homes and they would be the only company I will contact if I need to rent in the future.

So far I have not had a great experience. My previous rent agent, Century 21, was fantastic. Century 21 would fix everything for me. No job was too big or too small. But this so called company "Lets make homes" will not fix one thing at my property. I won't be back and I won't be recommending this place.

Moving out was smooth and we've received our deposit back in couple of days, highly recommended, thanks again.

Fantastic letting experience from Ed & team at Let's Make Homes. Just ended a year long rental of property, everything was dealt with professionally from beginning to end, good system for repairs if needed, would highly recommend.

Ed and Dave run an efficient and professional Letting Agency where the the Tenant is treated fairly and courteously. They were more than accomodating when I advised them of my need to move, possibly at short notice. They were flexible and understanding. 2 nice approachable guys.

Dealt with other letting agents mainly in the Coatbridge area and the difference was palpable in comparison in how you were treated. They cared only about the Landlord and at times treated you with arrogance, possibly even contempt. I hadn't rented before so it was a bit of an eye opener for me.

They could learn a lesson from these guys!

Rented a property here for just over a year and the agency was fantastic throughout. I liked that the landlord David didnt inconvenience us with house checks like other agencies - made it feel more like our home. Absolutely no issues throughout our tenancy but we were given dedicated numbers for any problems which was reassuring. Received my deposit back within a few days of leaving. Recommend.

Let's make homes are a very thorough and helpful company who made it a very smooth and prompt transition into to our rented property. Their communication was excellent and they were very helpful and easy to contact. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great first letting experience with Let's Make Homes, can't rate them highly enough, helped us out in the middle of a crisis. Any issues that may come up are dealt with swiftly and to your satisfaction, extremely well run letting agency. Thanks once again Ed.

Whilst my partner and I had to leave ‘Let’s Make Homes’ due to the landlord putting the property up for sale, everything ran completely smoothly from moving in until leaving date. We were even given two and a half months notice, so a little bit longer than was required. Shame their other available properties at the time weren’t suitable for our needs as me my partner loved renting from them.

When I first made contact with the agent is was operated by David Kendal. Subsequently he took on a partner called Ed who I never met and the company relocated its office twice without informing me.
Major issues were
1. Exterior refurbishment over a ten week period that meant I had to vacate the property during the day due to noise, dust and lack of privacy
2. Condensation on the interior ceilings that was incorrectly diagnosed by South Lanarkshire Council as being a leaking roof when in fact it was a build up of moisture in the flat - there being no extraction in the bathroom or kitchen.
3. A number of subcontractors did poor quality work - one flooding a floor that leaked into the flat below and another failing to carryout some painting to an acceptable standard.

In summary I would say that the Landlord did not operate to acceptable standards of problem solving , maintenance and communication.

My husband and I had a pleasure to rent a flat with Lets Make Home agency. People who work there helped us with completing all relevant documents, they were always on time with pleasant manner and highly cooperative. We were well looked after from beginning to the end therefore we would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone who needs professional help with finding their dream property. I have been a tenant with lets make homes for about 6 months now and i am very impressed with the standard of the property and more importantly the service given by the letting agency itself.
From the initial viewing through moving in and now onto being settled in its always been the same person iv dealt with and they have been profesional but approachable and friendly throughout.
Minor repairs have been carried out quickly after issues being raised and usually whilst iv been out of the house (i.e iv not had to take time off work).
Nice to feel like a valued tenant and i feel confident if anything urgent needed attended to the team at lets make homes would do what needed done as quickly as possible with minimum hassle to myself.
