High pressure sale on first call was all I needed to know to steer clear. Not the behavior of an interested "attorneys" office

Lexington law is nothing more than a legal scam they have overcharged my card once then they charged my card 108.00 again after I cancelled with them which I will dispute ...they got absolutely nothing done in 3 months ..your better off just disputing your issue with credit karma or the credit bureaus ... because they just sit back and collect money without doing anything ..all the good reviews have to be fake

The service is expensive ($80+ monthly) but the company does NOT guarantee their work. After 6 months of not seeing any changes to my account (good or bad), I spoke to a supervisor who said that inquiries are sent to creditors on behalf of a customer's through USPS mail. But Lexington Law does not track the letters and has no way of knowing whether or not the creditors actually received the correspondence or not. The company also cannot guarantee or provide any proof that the letters were actually mailed. When I voiced my concerns about this to a supervisor, she said that Lexington Law "cannot control the mail at the post office". Well, nice try but the contract says differently. Lexington Law refunded my payments after an 1.5 hour phone conversation with 3 employees.
To anyone who has not seen results, I recommend that you call and demand proof that the letters you paid them to send to your creditors actually made it to the creditors. It is Lexington Law's responsibilty per the contract they have you sign AND the verbiage on their website to not only fulfill this duty but also be able to prove it!

I'm new to Lexington law but if like to give a shout out to Courtney Karp she is amazing and very helpful. Thank you for helping me.

There’s no way these are true reviews. This company is literally under investigation. If you go to the BBB most customers have the same issue with them not canceling, pushing paper and not actual working on your credit unless you complain & other scammy issues. Please don’t use this service

They cool until you don't want the service anymore. I've been with them for 4 months and not one thing removed by them but by me! Then I paid the last bill which was prorated for when I ended services they billed me again. I call in and the agent can't seem to find my payment but I can't see it in my account with them and my online banking but they didn't charge me. Horrible
9/15/22 Update, just received an email telling me that I was right they over charged me and they are going to refund me. But please allow 305 days! What... The... What? This has to stop! To many companies are getting away with these extra long refund processing times where it doesn't take this long period and it surely didn't take this long for you to take it from my account! Never again with this company!!!!

They got absolutely nothing accomplished…. What a waste of money. I did it myself. it seems like their tactic is to see how much money they can get out of you while achieving no results.

FYI in the past I have hired another credit repair company and I have wanted to see if Lexington Law is going to do any different to file any dispute for any negative items or hard inquiries that is in my file but after month and a half 2 months I did not see any dispute that is filed so keep in mind any company that you hire they have to take an action immediately since you pay them immediately and also too longer they keep you longer you have to make payments so I have wasted my money on them too. So look elsewhere

The woman I spoke with seemed to be helpful in the beginning, but that changed quickly. The woman spoke to me in a condescending way and when I asked if I could think about it because I wasn't sure if I had the funds to pay for the services, she hung up on me. Would not recommend. Please go somewhere else

I have been with the company for 5 months. Only two items have been removed. I honestly feel like I'm being robbed paying $139.95 per month. It's obvious that longer you stay in the company the more money they are going to make off of clients a month. That's what I think they are doing with me taking my money monthly. I have some account that are already paid off in full and they are telling me I need to provide proof. At this moment I am one unhappy customer with this company. Terrence Brooks

The representative stated that the fee would be only 99 dollars for both my wife and myself. Come the next month they charged me 250 x2 and blew my bank account apart. When I called them I was hung up on twice and only got back 125 then the next month they did the same thing this time they wanted to argue with me that they did so much work for me and had already paid me my money back. It took about an hour to get them to refund all my money and about 3 months to get my money back into my account. I just recently found out they have lost their bbb ratings. Horrible service rude people 0 customer handling abilities.
Yes they are very bad despite what ever changes they have made.

This company is like all the other energy and money sucking vampires on this planet. These type of corporations are just pyramid scheme projects getting you to pay your hard earned money for nothing. They will lead you on and even offer to take your money at half the cost if you want to leave them. They will tell you to be patient as they are “working hard” on your case by only sending out letters to your creditors that most likely won’t do a fkn thing with you credit. You can actually send your creditors these same letters for free. You just have to have the knowledge, time, energy and stamps to do so. Don’t fall for it ppl. As for you Lexington, yeah I’m good on all that. This company sucks… literally, all the dollars from you account and will even overdraft your account if your card is locked. Keep an eye on your subscription too as you pay first then get your service here. Lexington is built off of lies & cliffhanger’s only to lead you down a rabbit hole to nowhere‼️💯

Scam! They do nothing. Don’t believe me? Try for yourself. Also I cancelled my service yesterday and they charged me today. Such a terrible business

If I could give zero stars I would. I thought since they had attorneys and paralegals on staff that they had an upper hand over credit repair..turns out it’s all show. There was some activity in the first month and I thought this might be it but after a year and half they accomplished as close to nothing as you can get without being nothing. If you need help fixing credit I suggest credit repair. They did more in 3 months then Lexington law did in a year and a half.

I would love to know why I am receiving emails from this company. I'm British, I live in the UK, have never visited America and have certainly not opted in to anything. I'm inundated with these emails daily but am reluctant to unsubscribe as I've never heard of this company and am concerned it's a scam. If its real please stop emailing me!

Grossly disappointed and scammed. I have an excellent credit record except for 1 account with Synovus bank that I have never paid late showing as a charge off in my credit report, I hired Lexington law and send them all the documentation including 12 months of perfectly paid statements, L. Law collected money from me for 6 months and could not fix one account that is truly being reported erroneously. I don't recommend Lexington Law or Synovus bank for that matter.

Like other reviewers, I signed up with Lexington Law and my credit score immediately went down and nothing they promised came to pass. Granted, it might take them 6 months or more to do what they promised, but so far not good and no way would I pay them to do more damage. Don't take a risk.

I used Lexington Law top premium service for $129 a month for 5 months. I had 8 negative items ( 3 actual negative items showing as 3 negative items on Bureau X, 3 negative items on Bureau Y, and 2 negative items on Bureau Z. Somehow Bureau Z didnt have one of actual negative item). After using Lexington Law's top service plan for $129 a month for 5 months, I ended up having 9 negative items. Eventually they let the Bureau Z to include missing negative item in their reports. I am a businessman and I am very reasonable and understanding of services or products when they fail, I am patient if they correct their mistakes, but with this company I totally felt the way they do business is really a scam. I felt responsible reporting this companies' scam business model. There are serious other businesses who guarantee or refund policy if they cant do improvement in 3 months. I contacted several times, asked about their work on my cases, I did not receive any solid response. I did not receive any mails from bureaus showing they did any work for my cases. No evidence. I requested report of what they have done for my case, they refused to share any details. Next day they disabled my account and sent email stating they would not work on my case, cancelled my plan, and will not work on my case in future. I paid $129x5 which $645 and I ended up having worse credit with them. Please share this with everyone, if you have plan ask evidence of their work, do not stick them and end up with nothing after months. I am also going to file a complaint to Attorney General, as well as FTC, hope they would stop scamming people.
