Very bad experience with a customer service. I put an order (#29085) worth 247€ last april. Due to urgent personal circumstances, I was not able to pick up my package, which was sent back to Liewood. Since, then, I have been trying to get a refund, with many emails and calls, and never heard anything back. I lost close to 300€ !! I would never order from their website ever again !!

do not purchase liewood webshop; they lack customer service. Made a 140 EUR purchase, right as I received my confirmation informed them an item was incorrect in the size if they could change it for the correct before processing the order and delivering (which they endee up doing 5 days later the delivery eh).
Instead just Receiving automatic message/answers
1) automatic reply with‘we are busy, we will get to you’
2) sorry we did not see your email. any possible solution on their side? nop, still waiting for them to own this as i informed them roght before processing the order
And not only me, in a group of moms many had a similar issues. we are moms! we order in a hurry! if you did a proper cx assessment, THE MAIN SEGMENT needs help with post orders at least above 100 eur

I have never ever had this type of experience of poor customer service before. I have bought 4 sets of table ware from you and every single one is dangerous. The plastic started to peel and my baby ate plastic several times. When I have emailed you, you have been super rude and then stopped responding. And based one your great response below, NO I Will not waste my time to email you once more. Shame on you.
Will never ever buy products from you again.
Will never ever recommend anyone to buy products from you.
Unsafe, expensive! There is much better brands out there.
Liewood do not cover the return shipping cost, which is ok. But it would be nice if they could send the shipping label and deduct the cost from the return products or make a way that we can buy the return label through their website. It’s a lot of work to go and take care of sending back the items and it’s more EXPENSIVE for the customer when the return shipping is paid by us than when it’s being paid by company or through the company.

When my daughter was starting to feed herself I purchased a large number of silicone plates, bowls, cups, bibs etc. I always thought of Liewood as being good quality especially as the stuff isn’t cheap. It also looks cute so I went overboard and spend more than a couple hundred pounds on kids tableware.
Unfortunately the items proved to be not fit for purpose. The food served from the plates and bowls has a nasty synthetic taste every time. Not what you want when you are introducing your child to the wonderful world of new and exciting foods. Before I purchased these I had a couple of simple (cheap) kids plastic plates which we use to this day and they are much better with no smells or issues.

Products look really nice, but the quality is abysmal. Product durability design is something that you would expect from AliExpress, not from a premium Scandinavian brand.
But what else was I about to expect from a "sustainable" brand that makes their products in China. Next time I will go for a truly sustainable brand with durable and sustainable product design.

Huge disappointment!! I love Liewood products and therefore I ordered 4 items on their website. Liewood promised via an advertisement that every customer will receive a free table mat automatically with the order. Once I got the order confirmation, I realised that there was nothing mentioned about this free item. I contacted customer service and they answered me to wait until I receive the parcel. They also promised that they will re-send the item, in case that it was not there. So far so good, I thought...I receive my order but - as already supposed - the item was not there. I contacted customer service again and received a very disappointing answer. I was told that they do not send me the item and that they wish me a nice day. Thats it! I could not believe it. I asked again, and told them that they already promised to re-send it. But the answer was "no", again. Seriously? First Liewood makes an huge advertisement to catch customers, then they promise to send it to you and after all, the do not do any of it?! It was the last time that I have ordered from this company and I will also not recommend it to anybody else. This is not customer friendly. And I guess legally also not correct.
Bought tableware from Liewood through kidsworld. From the second wash the plastic started to peel off - really quite unsafe that a child is eating these pieces of plastic. Upon contacting Liewood and sharing photos of the result - the only response was to get a replacement from Kidsworld. No offer of a refund or any compensation. Why would I go through the effort of contacting kids world and coordinating a new delivery to get a second copy of a poor quality product? The tableware is now in the trash and I had to run out and find a new set from another brand. Poor service.

Customer service at Liewood is shockingly awful. Knowing that I was a huge fan of the brand (we have bibs, toys, dinnerware, baking ware, bottles and clothing). Our dear friends purchased a wading pool in April 2022 for our 18 month old daughter to use for the summer. We opened the pool in May to find that it was defective and unable to use (a product that cost 40 euros). We reached out to company, hoping for a resolution (not the money back). It took over 3 months to receive any form of acknowledgement (next week is already September / final days of summer) and after nearly a week of bare minimum communication. Their advise has been to go/call the local shop - which is 4 hours away and speaks a different language (this all has been explained to Liewood from the start). The response is entirely inappropriate. If they had replied in a timely manner back in May, perhaps we would have found a way to go back to the shop. How should I show up the shop now 4 months after the fact of what is clearly the manufacturer’s flaw? This company has 0 interest in providing any actual customer service.

Horrible customer service. Bought a sipping cup and after using it only one time there’s a crack in the bottom. I washed it by hand and didn’t even use the dishwasher. Made a complaint on their website but it’s been almost two weeks and didn’t hear back.
For such a big company this is unacceptable.

Very bad customer service: the package was delivered to a relay point 60km from my home (although the delivery address was clear). Impossible to be heard: the automatic answers are not satisfactory.

Not the quality or service you expect from the brand.
Made an order recently as I needed bed sheets and I thought I could give it a try, even when the prices were higher than comparable brands, as they were sending me a lot of adds and sales emails.
I added a few things to me order ( up to 100 Eur)to get the shilling cost for free.
After a few days I received the shipment without 5he sheets.
After contacting their Cservice, theyclaimed the item was not in stock and they refunded me .
I immediately went to the page to see they have very similar models for a higher price . They never informed me before hand about the issue and just refund the cost to sell it again to a higher price in their website .
About the quality of products, their baby towels became rough after a few washes.
Do not worth the price !
I have several liewood products, which I would consider good quality and very aesthetically pleasing, so when shopping for the next step up water bottle my 15 month old I was so happy to come across their silicone water bottle. I bought the dark blue dinosaur one from a local shop. It's beautiful and squishy and soft, which is perfect for him flinging his water bottle on the floor etc. At £22 it was a real treat and exceeds the usual £15 I spend on water bottles purely because I liked the look of it so much.
THE PROBLEM. I washed the water bottle in hot soapy water, filled it up and gave it to my toddler. Later that day I was about to wash it again and thought I would try it myself. The water inside tasted rancid, it tasted of plastic. I was horrified that my little one was drinking from it all afternoon. So I let it soak in hot water for hours, then filled it up with dish soap and salt and shook and rinsed, then gave it a good go with a bottle brush. Filled it up and tried it again and thought it tasted fine, however when I picked it up a few hours later to try, there was the same rancid taste. I contacted customer service and the shop I bought it from to see if there was someway to 'break it in' they suggested running it through the dishwasher a few times. I didn't have a dishwasher so I decided to steep it again and again and again then added vinegar, baking soda and dish soap, and letting that mixture sit over night. Rewashed the next morning and filled it up.....same problem, once the water sits in the bottle for a few hours and becomes room temperature the water becomes disgusting. I even poured the water into a glass and asked my partner and six year old to try....the six year old spat it out immediately.
Tried to convey to customer services just how serious I believe this issue to be, obviously they say that their products are tested and abide by safety codes etc but I do not see how this could be an isolated incident, it's clearly an issue with the silicone and is only noticeable when the water is sitting in it for a while. This product is quite expensive for what it is and I can imagine it is bought as a present alot, therefore alot of people may not be able to leave reviews or return the item. I myself was going to buy the smaller sippy cup for my niece's 5month old baby for Christmas and I'm so glad I didn't as people don't necessarily test the water out of baby cups they just wash them and start using them. The only reason I tested was because my little one is new to sucking from a straw type bottle and i wanted to test how easy it would be for him, I did not expect to come across an issue like this from a brand like liewood.
Couldn't find a review for this product anywhere to see if others had the same problem. One website said it had 13 reviews but you couldn't actually read this reviews anywhere.
The customer service people recommend I return through the shop I purchased from but I was aghast at the fact such a serious issue was not going to be investigated thoroughly by themselves upon my contact, plastic is clearly leeching into the water that we are giving to our children and babies but they don't seem to care, I did not feel like they took my issue serious at all. The effect of microplastics on our health is a well known issue at the minute and this company in my eyes have failed at the opportunity to investigate a massive problem with their product.
The lady from the shop where I bought it from was equally concerned like me and is thinking it may be an issue with just this batch, she took down all my details and said she will send it back to the liewood with this info, but I can't help but fell the item will be discarded upon receipt at liewood in their returns department and nothing will be investigated. God know how many of these products are out there with this fault and without a proper investigation I can't see it being recalled, I will be following the brand to see if a recall is ever issued and also warm mother's/parents etc to stay away from their water bottles and indeed all their food and drink associated products as I don't think the plastic they are using or their safety test procedures are rigorous enough to detect issue like mine.

super bad customer service
Jacket arrived broken
there has been no replacement for 3 weeks.
I still don't have my money back.
different messages from customer service
all very questionable
I will never order from liewood again
The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
In short, we bought a fair amount of products, they said the address was incorrect - it was not - and decided to refund without any prior communication.
Surprised - we were still waiting for the delivery after more than 2 weeks - we contacted them and that’s when they brought up the delivery issue. We said we didn’t want a refund but needed the products we still wanted to buy. From there, an email chain started - obviously with large delays on their side - with countless excuses from “we’re overwhelmed” (and many more) to the incredible “we refunded you” which obviously meant for them that our case was closed and they actually did not give a … about our request.
Extremely disappointing experience.
Terrible Customer Service. I bought €270 worth of products and unfortunately some items didn't fit my kids. so i returned the products almost 1 month ago and so far i have not received any acknowledgment of receipt nor my money back. I've sent 3 emails and so far I haven't gotten any response from them. i am very upset because i feel robbed, cheated. I still had to pay 17€ for shipping. well i hope they get in touch with me otherwise i will seek my legal rights.

Terrible. Placed an order online and was sent tracking information a day later. It’s now been three weeks and the tracking information states the package has still not been dropped off at carrier. I can not get a response from them via email or social media. They have taken my money and provided me with no goods. They do not respond to emails and do not answer their phone.

I LOVE their designs and color selection. I used to buy tons of their stuff at stockists, but since they were often sold out, I started ordering directly from Liewood.
Shipping is a bit pricey, but not unusually so compared to other stores.
The items are of good quality, the only real issue I actually had was with a bath robe that had a substantial hole that I did not notice until a couple of weeks after I received it, so I just stitched it up myself.
However, I did have issues with their packages. I ordered quite a few times and most of the packages came in good condition. Twice however items were put in a bag instead of a box. These were hard objects in cardboard boxes that must have cut through the bags. I don’t really mind the condition of the stuff I intended to use for my kids, but I was planning to give some of the items as gifts and of course I could not do so because the boxes were completely busted and items were hanging out. I contacted customer support and they were kind and appologetic, but didn’t offer as much as a discount code or a free return (which would be nice considering the amount spent on their stuff).
Despite that, I still love the products and would recommend.

I bought 3 articles on monday june 21st. Three days later, on thursday morning, still no shipping confirmation. I write an email to ask when the products will be shipped, as I'm leaving for a long holiday in 10 days. I get a reply a few hours later saying "due to a large number of orders, my order would be shipped in a few business days". So 3 + a few business days to ship a 3-product order where each product is available in stock. I write back immediately to say " I cannot wait this long, I won't be in my home to collect my order, my baby will have outgrown the products by the time we get back and we'll end up not needing them and not being able to return them". Seeing as how my order hadn't been shipped yet and wouldn't be for another few business days according to Liewood, I asked them to simply cancel my order and and proceed with a refund. I get a reply a few hours later "we have just shipped your order now, here is the tracking number. Because your order has now been shipped, we cannot cancel it anymore". It's been 3 days since my order was supposedly shipped, and when I click on the tracking number, I get a message that says "ready to ship". So what Liewood did is simple, in order for them not to cancel and refund my order, they created a shipping label, making it appear as though my order was shipped, when in reality it is in the same state as it was 3 days ago. This shows how small minded these people are, ready to do anything to force you to receive an order, even when they know you won't be able to receive or return it, just to make a few bucks. And to top it all off, they called me Karen. My first name is Karim. Try to do worse, you won't be able to. This is as small as it is pathetic, disrespectful and dishonest. I will never buy anything ever again from this company and I will tell my story to as many people as I can, making sure that they lose as many potential customers as possible. This is what they deserve.

Last Friday I got an access to a pre-sale of Liewood with the discounts up to 40% and obviously I have purchased some stuff from the website. Three days later they are sending me one more e-mail saying that now sales have gone up to 60% and guess what, all of the items that I have ordered from the pre-access sales got discounted even more. I gave a call to the custmer support explaining the situation saying thatthis is pretty unfair and I can either cancel the first order and order the items once again or I owuld highly appreciate if they would adjust the pricing. The answer was that they cannot adjust the pricing for me and I would have to go with an option number one. I find this extremely unfair going from 40% to 60% and do not really see the point in subscription at all.
