DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. If you want to know why, then read. If not, AND WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN FROM YOU, THEN JUST STAND WHEREVER IT IS YOU ARE, AND TELL SOMEONE TO ROB YOU. This place by far, is the worst merchandise company I’ve ever ordered From. I ordered a jacket in November of 2020, and I’ve asked for a refund because the jacket was broken. As I’m in relation with them through email (as if we are not in 2020) like who does that now a days? Through email!! Wow! We are now on December, and I’ve still yet to receive my refund as they promised, both shipping fee’s and refund fee, and guess what? That as a consumer, or even as a customer is very unsatisfactory. Let alone, the fact that your merchandise’s are FAKE. All of them are FAKE. So don’t order from these ppl they are ridiculous. And if I could rate them 0 stars I would but they’re even lucky that I put 1⭐️. Theeeeee worst place I’ve ever ordered from.

Do not use

Much the same experience as many others here. Shipping takes a long time, they take a long time to respond, sizing is all over the place and always attempt to intimidate with the email responses - make it akward to return items, advise that you only have seven days to complain.
I strongly advise that you do not use this company.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience! Ordered jacket which took a while and when it came was not as described. I ordered according to the size chart (xxxl). The jacket looks like a child’s size! Could not even get your arm in.
Requested a refund, finally received a message that I would have to send back to China and it would cost more than the jacket! This was misrepresentation on their part, so I do not feel I should just receive 10% of the Purchase back! Very unhappy!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I placed a large order with this company and paid in full. I waited and recieved an email to say that there was an additional charge, since this I have been unable to contact both the delivery company and Lightinabox. Additional charges are not outlined in their terms and conditions and I am very disapointed that I have had no correspondance, I emailed Lightinabox to ask for a return and full refund and again I have has no correspondance. I am now left with none of the items I ordered and paid for and no contact nor refund. This has been going on since AUGUST!

The very worst, don't use!

Received my order after several weeks wait, 2 pairs of shoes to get right size, due to fly on 28 with shoes for wedding, they arrived after the date, wanted to send 1 pair back, laughable email full page long detailing how to return goods, to different country, with 'cheapest' route, tracking number saying once received would refund. I can't be bothered to take any further. Will never use again. Stay away.

Shocking experience. Avoid. My daughter spent her pocket money on an item 4 weeks later nothing and now no record of order on order history - no one to contact to query. Daylight robbery.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF ONLINE SHOPPING…

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF ONLINE SHOPPING I've ever had. AVOID this company folks! I ordered on March 28th and paid extra for "expedited shipping 3 - 6 days". I've received nothing, no parcel , no response to all my messages. When eventually I receive a response it's a standard cut and paste fob you off. The order number is #2003280636377993 .. According to the tracking information the parcel is still in China .. The cut and paste response to all my enquiries suggests I enquire at my local post office .. I could go on for ever .. beyond angry

If I could give this crowd 0 stars, I would!

To cut a long story short, they tried to fob me off by replying to an e-mail in Spanish when I complained about not having been sent an order confirmation and the fact they had already taken my money! Unfortunately for them, I was able to respond in Spanish.

They asked me to confirm which name I had used when placing the order (which confirms my thought - they never gave me an order number in the first place!). They also asked me to give them the FULL Card number which I used to place the order - I told them that as they had already taken my money, they would have this information and I did not give them the number. Are they seriously crazy?

I filed the claim of no item received with my bank on Tuesday. My bank refunded me in full today and will pursue the merchant over the loss to the bank as a result.

I have never come across such a disgraceful, sloppy retailer in my life. A shocking outlet and the fact they want customers to provide them with names and full card numbers used really feels me with dread. This sort of behaviour is quite disturbing, unethical and resembles that of identity theft.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Avoid this seller

Avoid this seller, after ordering a set of led lights the expected delivery was 4 to 7 days but took 3 weeks to arrive, website looks and feels like its UK based but item was located in china!!!...a UK based and china based office?..automated response to questions and tracking useless with no idea where it was....had to open a case with paypal to get any response....i would recommend spending a little bit extra and sourcing from UK to get guaranteed delivery...this was not a cheap item even from china

I ordered an item

I ordered an item, something much cheaper turned up, finally the correct item turned up but there is no way it would fit despite following their size chart. If I choose to return it it will have to go to China and having now read other reviews I see that there will be no point as the chances of getting my money back are minimal. My advice is AVOID this company.

Very appaling customer support.

I created a ticket for an item that was 1. not as described/did not meet expectations. 2. Had a damaged packaging at arrival.

This is what they responded to my refund request :
We would like to offer you two possibilities:
1 Keep the damaged article and receive a refund for 20% of the price of the goods
2 Keep the goods and get a refund in shop credit for 30% worth of price of the goods.
Should you want to return the article, you can do so. Beware that you will have to return the article to China.

They KNOW that any shipping from Europe to China will cost way more, effectively negating any possibility of enjoying a refund.

My advice : Stay away from this one.

Appalling company.

My continuing frustration in trying to deal with this company is exhausting.
I would honestly say don’t use them if you think you might want a refund.
They did respond on here and raised me a ticket to get a refund - have you ever heard of such a process? Getting a photo to attach is a total nightmare as you can’t access files to make the JPEG size small enough to be acceptable. I cheated the system and took it as a selfie which is lower resolution and eventually managed to attach it. Why do you need to do that? They know what you bought and mine is unused in the original packing.
So at last the ball is back in their court and guess what - NOTHING. They are just deliberately delaying to go past the 14 day ‘ right to return’ date.
It’s such a shame as I have had some great cycle tops off them but their clothing is cheap and shoddy and nothing like the pictures in the adverts.
This is definitely a job for Trading standards and Consumer TV programmes. Buyer beware indeed!

Lengthy waiting time

I ordered an item of clothing & paid for this on 26/3/19. This item did not arrive in the post until today 9/5/19. According to the postage terms on this website, the longest it should have taken to get to me was 30 days! I was unable to track where my item was on the website. Not impressed at all. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this website again.

If I could write this review without issuing a star I would. Absolutely disgusting company, they take your money and run for the hills.
DO NOT at any cost buy anything from them. You will never get your money back. They issued me a 'ticket no' 18818870 on 7th September saying I would receive my money in 1 - 2 days. 6 weeks now and still nothing, and not a hope in hell of speaking with anyone. I am fuming. Only wished i'd read the reviews first.
just hope this is a warning to others. Steer clear. Hope Karma gives them a visit!!!

Terrible

Same as a lot of other feedback on Light in a Box, items not arrived, been asked to pay £17 to release the parcel, goods only cost £40! At the time of the order I was not advised that the items were not in the UK and that they were not ready for immediate dispatch and/or that there may be duty to pay on them!.

Raised a Pay Pal Dispute now, very disappointing, I would not recommend using this company in the future to anyone
