Bad customer service

Bad customer service, cut me off every time i asked to speak with a manger i was cut off. My new phone arrived broken and still after 4 call and staying in 4 times to wait for a replacement this still hasn't be solved.

Absolute disgrace....

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life. We pay a premium for this service via Barclays and they should be ashamed to be associated with this company. I have received two faulty phones as a replacement for my water damaged (otherwise in immaculate condition) phone. Neither phone they have sent as replacements are anywhere near as good a conditon as my original phone. None of the parts of the so called re-conditioned replacement phones are Apple products, even the battery. Due to the swapping policy, they are now in possession of my original phone which did have genuine Apple parts. Two failed phones and a whole week of waiting in for the phones to be swapped over, causing me massive inconvenience and to not be able to go into work, not to mention the issues that come along with not having a phone, plus I have had to pay £100 excess for this disgrace of a service. The information on the tracking portal regarding delivery has been incorrect, twice DPD drivers have not turned up when they should have done and I have just been told it's a day's call back to speak to Technical Support to get advice on the most recent faulty phone that has been sent to me and is unusable. How is that acceptable when they are dealing with tech items? I have requested to speak to managers but nobody is willing to transfer me or speak to me. Apparently my case has been escalated but it's 1- 2 days to get a call back from a more senior member of staff. An absolute shambles from start to finish. I am at a complete loss and I still don't have a phone I can use!

I will also be making a formal complaint to Barclays.

Price of Barclays tech pack increased and service quality decreased.

Despicable tech insurance service provided by Barclays and likewise - had 2 claims in 2 years where I lost my phone and got replacements in 2-3 days. Likewise only needed proof of purchase back then.

My phone got stolen now and it's been almost a month since I've open the claim and still ongoing! They're now asking for all these documents (basically for us to do their job and them looking for any reason not to fulfil the claim):

Proof of Usage (from network provider - takes about 2 days to get it)
Proof of Barring (from network provider - takes about 2 days to get effect)
Proof of Purchase (only document that should be needed)
Side of Box (be sure to go back to 2002 and keep your boxes ya'll)
Proof of circumstance – Please provide proof of going out on the date of the incident.

All emails go to their claims department, which God forbids you can ever talk to and they take at least 2 working days to reply. Add that to all the waiting times and researching on how to get those documents and you can go number two on Barclay's 48 hours replacement promise for £14.50.

employed by nat west, mobile phone insurers, will send you a mobile phone that is not working properly.
they all sound like polite and helpful, but nothing gets done. they send it via DPD who are a bunch of lying drivers, and have literally no control over them.

I have a Barclays tech pack policy and have waited over a week for my phone to be collected. Each time it hasn’t been collected they say the courier came (they did not). And the solution is they rebook each time and no one still comes!! It’s total madness. Todays solution was for them to try and collect my damaged phone from my husbands work address?!!! I still have my phone waiting…

Appalling. I sent in my 12.9" iPad in perfect working order - no marks or scratches (and I photographed it packed up in the box - so you could see the iPad in the box), screen working etc... yet they come back to me and say there's an issue with the screen - yer, right, I don't think so - unless it was damaged in transit with DPD but I've never had issues with that company before so I can only imagine like all others here that the entire thing is a scam - AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs - trade in value has gone from £120 to £30, they're taking the wee wee!!

Terrible Experience - Aviod

Terrible Experience.
Part exchanged my tablet via Argos in Oct 22. Was confirmed delivered then "lost" my Likewize. After multiple chasing emails it was allegedly found but was bent with software issues, therefore worthless - Not the condition I sent it in. Better to take your chances on the auction sites.

replacement phone that I was sent not acceptable. it has been ghosting (where the screen behaves like you have touched it when it hasn't been) all the time and the battery is worse than the phone I had before which was 4 years old.

We made a claim first we were waiting for days to Get an update and when we we called them back to ask for update they said “Oh you need to pay for claim and we will send you replacement “ how would we know it’s been approved!
Then phone came in 5 days which is again FAULTY PHONE, “ FULL OF FAULTS”
Customer service agent is USELESS
Asking 1000 SILLY QUESTIONS which make no sense at all!
No Managers to talk
No Supervisor to talk
Again they will put us without phone for another 5-10 Days after reading these reviews
Please guys Stop your monthly payment with these SCAMMERs.
Save your money… NOT WORTH IT

What can I say sent my phone off for a repair “Likewise” received the device on the 19th and was advised the device would be repaired within 6 working days and if for any reason it cannot be repaired then a cash settlement will be provided it’s now gone over 10 days and for some reason they have no idea as to what’s going on with my phone apparently they keep on emailing some mysterious department who never seem to reply back.

They have no idea of what’s going on with devices once they receive them it’s absolute shambles I’m surprised they work under Barclays.

So now I just have to wait and call everyday like a muppet and no doubt when I call tomorrow I’ll be told the same cock & bull story.

I’m also making a complaint to Barclays as this service is not on par.

Absolute Con

Absolute Con! The way they treat you is absolutely disgusting. Just had an interrogation for having the misfortune of misplacing my phone. Patronising Peter was arrogant and basically claiming me to be a fraudster for paying for a service they can’t even deliver on. The amount of time spent trying to sort out the situation is mind blowing!

My advice is stay away save your money (£14.99) and then if you do loose your phone, use the money saved by not paying this con of a company and buy a handset! Likewise Insurance FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

Waste of money pay £14.50 for years go to make a claim no service shops in your area also out of catchment area for mobile repair nearest shop nearly 1hour away (I live in Canterbury not middle of Scotland ) So you have to send phone in the catch is you have to then take day off so they can come collect it in morning and it takes up to 7 days !!! This firm should be on rogue traders worrying part is they part of Barclays Bank !!!

Its quite basic really
1. you pay for your insurance cover (as i have for 9 years at £14.50 a month)

2. you have an accident and your phone needs to be repaired

3. You get charged either £50.00 or £100.00 to have your phone either repaired or replaced

4. If replaced you receive a second hand phone.

I have made my 2nd claim in 9 years and i needed to pay £100 for a phone which secondhand value was £120.
So i pay
14.50 x 12 = 174.00
Plus 1x 100=100.00
Total = £274.00

Dont waste your time with this company its a scam. Take £14.50 a Month put it into a separate account or matress. Use the money to buy a new phone and save yourself all the hassle.

This is my second horrible experience…

This is my second horrible experience with these guys!

I lost my phone, seems pretty simple to make a claim! I am now into the 3rd week of my claim, still with no phone!

There is no guidance, help or escalation process, I have made a formal complaint (which has not even been acknowledged).

I have used Barclays tech pack for years, only since they moved to likewise has the service taken a nosedive.

while standing in the shop that would do these repairs for likewize i was told there wasnt a store close to me. after speaking to the store owner at ubreakifix they confirmed that there wasnt a store and i needed to mail my device in. after 6 days im still waiting for them "to check their processes" so i can have it repaired.

I have a tech pack with Barclays

I have a tech pack with Barclays, I started a claim as my screen was broke. I paid £49 when I started the claim. I had the device collected a few days later. Had email from them saying they received it, next day another email saying they can’t fix my phone and to call them. I have just called them and they said they can’t repair it as the front camera is broke. Which is funny as the front camera was working fine I use FaceTime a lot so I would have noticed if it was cracked/broke. The crack on the screen was on the other end of the phone. So now I’ve had to pay £50 for them to send me a refurbished device out. I’ve asked for the complaints team to contact me but looking at previous reviews I’m not hopeful on getting contact from them. Not happy!!
