The quality and colour of the tea and…

The quality and colour of the 'tea and biccies' sweatshirt I ordered is pretty disappointing. Considering the price + delivery I would have expected a much better item. The sweatshirt is thinner than expected. The brown colour is more taupe/grey, and it's now clear from the website images that the photo was taken in bright sunlight making it look brown. It is also listed as brown but I highly disagree. I imagine the print on the front will wear off pretty soon. I wanted to try and get a refund but after reading other reviews and also the policy of "no refunds" on the website, I didn't bother trying. I'll still get wear out of it, as it cost too much for me not to wear it but I won't be wearing it with pride, nor will I be ordering from Limpet again. This is just an over hyped Instagram seller.

Terrible customer service!

I ordered a white 'Cats are Cute' T-shirt in size M, and was sent the correct T-shirt in the wrong size. It took me two attempts to get in touch with the business, but I did and they arranged to send me the correct item. At this point, I'm still happy because hey, mistakes happen. Then, I get sent a shipping label to return the incorrect item, and it turns out I have to pay for the printing of it. Not a fan. And then, my replacement item arrives. It's a pink 'My friends are cooler than yours' sweatshirt, in size L. In every single respect, not the product I ordered. So incredibly unimpressed that I went looking for reviews of the business... and turns out, I should have read them before I ordered. Hoping to get a refund but wishing I had done my homework!

Dreadful service

I am aware this is a ‘one man band’ but don’t try plug your business if you can’t keep up with the emails, dispatching and returns.
Ordered something 12/06/25. Tomorrow is the 1st August and still haven’t received a return item. Absolutely shocking. Was told my item I returned hadn’t been received hy the warehouse, emailed proof of delivery through Evri then agreed exchange. I just want a refund. The reason I returned the t shirt was because the quality was awful, so thin, the cheapest t shirt you could use for printing. Agreed for echange of a sweatshirt, hoping the quality will be better. Still waiting for it to arrive.
Going to open a case with my bank and just try and get a refund. Don’t try and upscale your business if you can’t even cope with running it in a timely manner.
Avoid!!!

I wanted to like it but one of the…

I wanted to like it but one of the Tshirt I ordered with a screen printing came with a flaw and the printing completely disintegrated in the washing machine. Also for two tshirts the same size the sizing is completely different one being a bit small and the other one very oversized. I am not impressed and won't order again.
Customer support is also very slow to reply

Love my sweatshirt

Ordered on Monday, arrived Wednesday. Well packed, amazing sweater mega cute. I checked measurements on the website as I’m picky about fit and it’s exactly as described. Will defo re purchase again.

Lovely, well made items.

I had to return an order as it was too big.
Emily was very helpful and issued me a refund even though it says on the website that refunds aren’t normally given.
She was really understanding.
I would have given 5 stars but the emails from her were a bit slow coming…. however, I guess this is due to the time of year and with a small business, it’s understandable.
Lovely quality garments and I wish her every success with her business x

Love Limpet's customer service

I placed an order on Limpet store from Germany but had issues with customs, who sent my order back to the UK. Emily made this whole experience very pleasant and did her best to ensure I still received my order. Thank you so much :)

WARNING: Worst customer service possible.

I’m going to try and be as comprehensive as possible here to get the point across regarding how horrendous and unorganised customer service is at this shop (you’ll note I never leave reviews as this is so rare to be treated like this)!

11th May: ordered two jumpers
28th May: returned both jumpers as they didn’t fit
8th June: returns delivered, they asked what I’d like to swap for (was in return info but told them anyway)
17th June: 9 days have passed and I haven’t heard anything.
20th June: I send another message on Instagram, email and Facebook
22nd June: they apologise and say they will sort that day.
26th June: they tell me one of the items is discontinued and the other is out of stock so I select two others, having looked on their site and selected items that are in stock at their request.
1st July: I send a confirmation message to ask if my message has been received.
8th July: haven’t heard anything so I message again about what’s going on.
9th July: they respond to tell me they’re sorry blah blah blah oh and also one of the items is now out of stock again. So I ask for my money back.
11th July: refunded in total.

Do with this info what you will, but this is the timeline realistically if an item doesn’t fit, they have a “no refunds policy” but if you try and get an exchange they pull this!

Amazaing and quality clothing

I can't express enough how thrilled I am with my recent purchases from the Limpet store. I was in the market for some work merchandise and decided to give them a try. To say the least, their clothing quality and designs exceeded my expectations!

The merchandise I bought from Limpet was fantastic in quality. Every item feels premium, sturdy, and clearly made to last. But it's not just about the quality—each piece is thoughtfully designed and stylish in a way that's hard to find elsewhere.

What really stood out, however, was the exemplary service Emily, the owner, provided. She went above and beyond to ensure that my shopping experience was top-notch. Her responsiveness, attention to detail, and genuine care in meeting customer needs.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed. I had my eye on an animal sweatshirt as I love animals and love David Attenborough. I had an arrangement coming up so wanted to treat myself to this jumper so I had something cute to wear. I chose express shipping so it would get to me on time. The website did not state that the 24 hour delivery would be through Royal Mail, so it has still not arrived and the date has been and gone. I contacted customer services for help and Emily was very unhelpful and patronising. I have screenshots of the delivery not stating Royal Mail. I feel this is completely misleading and unfair. I am autistic so when I read delivery stating 24 hours I believe that to be true and do not appreciate being made to feel stupid for thinking this way. Never been so disappointed with a company and their response ever, it has really ruined my evening.
