DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM. They provide little to no support for buyers. Purchased a $29,000 piece from Chairish Auctions. They took over $33k including fees and premiums only to NEVER ship the item, go weeks without responding and still to this date I do not have the item or a refund. Live Auctioneers provider ZERO support and did not help resolve the issue.

I won an item and ask for the GIA to verify the description listed prior to sending funds. This was based on other bad reviews I read. This was the email reply I received. This is either a scam or the William thinks he is a "wise guy". My guess is they were pulling another SCAM. Either way Buyer beware.

You will not be allowed to enter any of our auctions ever again. That's my nice way of telling you basically to go screw yourself. I don't care who you share the email with. You have no claim you're talking out of your ass."

Do not bid on this site. The response time for them to get back to you is nil or ages after. I won a set of autographs the shipping costs were absolutely ridiculous. Sourced my own shipping company who were way cheaper however the company i had bought from made it so had for me that i never received my goods. Have emailed LiveAuctioneers no response. Find another auction site. This auction site is no good!

I learned about an object that was very rare in your listings, and was able to buy it using your very easy absentee bid process

If I went with the LiveAuctioneers "suggested" shipping option, I would have been charge almost $1,200.00 to ship a 12" x 10" painting that wound up costing $130.00 to ship. That's obscene. In another matter, I notified Live Auctioneers about a painting that was a forgery and within 4 minutes, received a notice that it was genuine when it absolutely was not. Contacted the seller with an email FROM THE ARTIST to tell them it was a fake and was then immediately taken down..LA did absolutely NOTHING to even try to investigate.

Easy to use get on and bid for some big I know others who struggle with that, and I couldn't find where to leave a review for two weeks.

LiveAuctioneers provide a unique service. The items sold vary in quality despite the seller's comments. A second problem is shipping. The shipping process is very complex and lacks uniformity between sellers.

Nicely organized very helpful company for the buyers with very unreasonable shipping fees that put a financial pressure on customers and shoo away many potential buyers!

This company overall is operating a complete scam. If the seller doesn't like the bid, they can claim that the listing was wrong because they didn't have the limits set correctly or there was an issue because it was sold. But the facts are that in the case of the item I bid on, a Scandinavian rosewood bed frame and side cabinets, has now been cycled through three separate houses, chairish, forget the second one, now on Mynt, with the price going up each time, and no buyers. Worst case of pump and dump I've ever seen, beats wall street hands down. Somebody ought to tell those initial reviewers that their claims of greatness are surely undeserved.

This auction house is so disorganized. There are many parties involved from separate vendors all using separate shippers. I got so many emails, messages, phone calls from several people asking for all kinds of information including financial info that I had already registered into the website. It is so confusing. And beware because the one item that I won cost 2.5 times more to ship via USPS. Unbelievable. And the shipping quote has only been confirmed two weeks after purchase. Which means that I will only receive the item maybe 3-4 weeks after winning it. I actually deleted my account and will never again go on this site. Definitely don't recommend.

You allow Chairish to post auction items which is merely a bait and switch scheme. They have posted auction items which I've bid on only to have the items pulled from the auction. A complete waste of my time. Most of your auction houses are legit but this web site "Chairish" is hosting a bogus auction.

Was sold 3 fake items that were listed as genuine.

the shipping and handling costs quoted be The Packengers is beyond outrageous. The auction house stepped in with a more reasonable and fair option.

Reply from LiveAuctioneers
They sent me a email saying I won an auction item and the auction house said the liveauctioneers failed to upload my bids. Never will use them again. Their sales associate was rude as well.
