Leicester, High Street - As part of my ‘Executor duties’ I recently had to distribute the funds to all the beneficiaries and realised that due to the amounts could only be done in the branch. I was... See more

I now have to travel into Wolverhampton town as all local branches have closed. It is an inconvenience but the staff are so wonderful; it makes up for it. I don’t know the gentleman’s name who has served me several times; he is so friendly and kind; he gave me a bottle of his water as I was melting with the heat; so a big shout out to him for his wonderful service and generosity, wish more people were like him. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would not trust this bank all they do is lie. My husband has a heart condition and all the stress they have caused him is in excusable.

Laura Worthing helped me on my personal and business account, happy with the fast service
Fraud was handled disgracefully. I was told my card was frozen when it wasn’t. I spent three hours answering repeated questions and received contradictory advice. I submitted a formal complaint — 10 days later, Lloyds have not responded at all. After banking with them my entire life, I’m now looking at other banks.
In response to your message below
Thank you for responding, but I need to make this absolutely clear: I have already submitted an official complaint to Lloyds Customer Services with full evidence, and it has now been over 10 days with no acknowledgement, no update, and no communication whatsoever.
As I stated in my review, I have banked with Lloyds all my life, and the handling of this fraud case — followed by complete silence after my formal complaint — is unacceptable.
Please read and respond to the complaint I have already sent, rather than directing me to contact you again. The responsibility now lies with Lloyds to address the issues raised.

I am highly satisfied with the exceptional support provided by Lisa. in Exeter, during a challenging situation involving my bank account. Due to a misunderstanding regarding an exchange platform, my account was temporarily flagged and locked under suspicion of fraud, as it was believed that someone was taking advantage of me. Lisa handled the matter with the utmost professionalism and kindness, guiding me through the process and keeping me fully informed alongside the police. I truly appreciate her dedication and excellent customer service.

Been a Lloyds customer for over 40 years in both personal and business banking. Lloyds put me over an overdraft limit by adding their own interest and costs and then marked the account as delinquent seriously affecting my credit score. I complained and was awarded over half the overdraft limit in compensation and retracted the adverse credit markers. Ive now paid off the remainging overdraft and have a zero balance.....And yet they have once again marked the account as delinquent and given late payment markers once again affecting adversley my credit. HORRENDUS COMPANY. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU ARE THINKING OF TRANSFERRING TO THIS BUNCH OF IDIOTS

If there was a no star option I’d choose that. Terrible experience of trying to transfer two ISAs to Lloyds. Multiple mistakes and failed transfers. Dreadful customer service with long wait times, multiple pass on to different staff with no knowledge of the product or rules for managing ISAs. Phone cut offs and promises to call back broken. Eventually resolved through the complaints process but even after this there were further mistakes.

Have had the same account with Lloyds, since Sep', 90'
Has become absurd. Every branch within a 5 Hour round journey, has closed. Bank Hub's tried, have a 100% failure rate at resolving any issues. Had been an early adopter to online bank account, + 2 decades back. Online account has been defective, for several months now. Have returned to paper statements (Nb. Nearest cash point, giving a printed, mini-statement ? A 5 Hr round journey away)
And to finalise ? An absurd system now exists, where a 5 Hr round journey to an actual branch, now require meetings with "personal advisors', or whatever they called today.
It's an absolute farce. Hr's wasted, to check balance, cancel a card, set up a Standing Order.
Am reviewing options, as staying with Lloyds, now isn't an option. Building Society, or perhaps a full internet based, bank account ?

My partner purchased two items from a UK company and unfortunately paid by bank transfer due to the company taking her off the buying site.
She paid and they posted a load of junk. Wrong items and damaged.
She's contacted them and they said return for a refund and confirmed it in a message. Items returned, tracked and now the company is just making excuse after excuse. Numerous phone calls over 2 weeks and nothing, just lie after lie.
So they have the money AND the goods!
Contacted Lloyds and they dont care about their customers, they don't believe it is a scam, really?
Thanks for nothing!
Update:
Thank you for your reply.
Who have you been in communication with regarding this? It wasn't me and I've given no details of either my partner or the business in question?
I'm unsure how serious Lloyds take it as it was the fraud department that said it was nothing to do with Lloyds.
My partner will call and I will review Lloyds response.

Tia at the Nottingham branch was incredibly patient and helpful. I have learning difficulties and she explained things very well and helped me with lots of things, not just the problem I came in with.

We recently moved house, ported our Lloyds mortgage and took on some additional borrowing.
The mortgage advisor we dealt with was very good, and there was good availability to meet virtually at convenient times. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly to us.
Lloyds never seem to be the most competitive bank - it always seems their savings rates are slightly below and their mortgage rates slightly above others, but there has typically been other small perks from banking with them.
This is the third house we have bought with Lloyds and this time we found they offer far less ‘extras’ - they are no longer covering conveyancing fees when using solicitors on their panel; and most frustrating is that they charge £100 to complete a mortgage valuation on the property. I challenged this as they had never charged it before, and on our previous two purchases no surveyor ever visited the property. The mortgage advisor explained that the charge was mandatory and said that even if a surveyor didn’t visit the property there is desk-based work they undertake. I logged in late in the evening and paid the £100, the computer whirred for about 10 seconds before a message appeared stating the valuation was complete and satisfactory - great news as it meant our mortgage application could continue, but clearly this entire process is automated and no surveyor involved, so it feels like a sneaky cash-grab from Lloyds. It isn’t a lot of money, but it is the principle of the opportunistic cash-grab that is disappointing, particularly when Lloyds already makes so much money out of mortgage customers.
In all three instances, we’ve also found that their insurance products (home, life and critical illness) are extremely poor - they are far more expensive and offer far less cover than can be obtained from many other insurers. For context, we are a couple in our early 30’s with healthy lifestyles and no health conditions, so really don’t understand their pricing compared to the rest of the insurance market.
Overall, we are happy banking with Lloyds and their customer service is generally very good. We just feel like their product offer to consumers is getting weaker.
