Got personal contact through whatsapp with the Local renter and all worked realy fast. We used it from one airport to another and was one of the fastest handeling of a rental car I ever had! It is a lot based on thrust, which can have Some level of getting used to but once you do it is great!

You can't know which company you make a…
You can't know which company you make a contract. The rented car (from Baron Car) was very dirty inside and covered with scratches outside, horn didn't work, tires were worn out and the car's engine wasn't powerful enough to drive up to the second deck of the ferry with 2 adults and 2 kids. I got back the deposit after 18 working days.

Really nice service
The office was really near to our hotel in Yerevan. The guys, Tigran and Pash, were really helpful and were available through whatsapp to help us. The car was ready in a clean state with full tank. The full coverage insurance was a nice thing to have and was quite cheap.

Car hire in Turkey - No credit card required
The fact that you don’t need a credit card for a car booking is extremely helpful. We hired a car for 5 days for pick up in Antalya old town and drop off at Bodrum airport, so needless to say that they are very flexible for different pickup and drop off points. Car itself is neat and tidy and does the job well. Decent fuel mileage on their cars too. Highly recommended.

My rental with this company was easy…
My rental with this company was easy and price-friendly. Payment was smooth, no deposit required. Ones the police stopped me and checked the documents proofing that the papers are fine. The only minus was almost empty gas tank with the comment : you can leave the car with the same empty tank. But I don’t want to! This is not client - oriented, but the rest is good. Recommend Localrent.

Local rent is a terrible company. They are 3rd party and sell your reservation to other small companies which are often small scam companies like niza cars in mallorca. I rented a car and was charged double at drop off without notice or prior approval of miscellaneous add ons. Localrent.Com sells your reservation and takes no responsibility for the companies that over charge you

You are correct — Localrent.com is not a rental company itself; we operate as a platform-aggregator and cooperate with various local rental companies in different countries. Each partner may have its own rental conditions, insurance rules, and deposit requirements, which are always shown in advance during the booking process and in the voucher.
According to the information provided by the partner, when a customer does not have a credit card, the deposit can only be processed using a debit card together with mandatory additional insurance coverage. Without meeting this condition, the vehicle cannot be provided.
Information about accepted deposit methods is specified in your voucher and was also available on the website at the time of booking. This is why an extended insurance package was added to your rental, allowing the vehicle to be provided without a credit card.
At the same time, we completely understand that this situation may have looked like hidden charges and left you with a very unpleasant impression. It is possible that the agents on site did not clearly explain the reason for this charge.
After discussions with the rental company, we managed to agree on a partial compensation for you in order to still leave a positive impression. However, we have not received a response to our request sent to your email.
We would be happy to see you again among our customers in the future.

We had a fantastic experience with localrent
We had a fantastic experience with Localrent for our 4x4 road trip in Georgia. They delivered the car directly to our hotel in Tbilisi and picked it up 8 days later from another hotel, which made everything incredibly easy and stress-free.
What really stood out was their responsiveness. Whenever we had a question, they were quick to reply on WhatsApp and always helpful, even sharing recommendations along the way. That level of service was a really nice surprise.
Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. I would definitely use Localrent again and highly recommend them!
