Very good service.pickup and return are very good easy.everything is good.

Overall experience was good enough, the technical condition of the car was great.
The interior required the cleaning and it was hard a bit to find the rental at the airport (would be nice to add the correct point to pickup instructions).

I had an Alamo Reservation Confirmation 75623133 for MILAN MALPENSA ARPT T1 (MXP) starting in October, 5th, 2026. Due to a delay in my flight from Tel Aviv to Milan, I arrived at Locauto store at Malpensa Airport Terminal 1 around 01:15 am and despite my messages by e-mail to Locauto about this delay and the reply that I received (appendix 1 below), at that time I found the store already closed. I waited until 07:00 am for the opening of the store and was informed by the attendant that my reservation was not valid anymore, despite what is written at Alamo website that in case of flight delay the reservation remains valid up to 24 houras after the scheduled pick-up time. (appendix 2 below).
At the end, just to minimize my losts, I was forced to take another car much below to the one that I reserved, for a higher price.

As mentioned in our previous correspondence, please be aware that any pickup after midnight will incur an out-of-hours fee of 43 euros, with 01:30 AM being the latest we can remain open. We will be able to wait for you up to one hour after the flight lands.

The car malfunctioned on the morning of your journey home. Now they want us to pay for their mistake.

Our car ran out of AdBlue much faster than it said it would (went from 50km left to 0km in just five kilometres of driving), then wouldn't start—ON THE MORNING OF OUR JOURNEY HOME.

According to the internet, this was due to a fault with the car's computer—a common fault that apparently they should have warned us about. We found a nice local man who drove to get AdBlue and fill up the car, but it still wouldn't start.

Because we were flying that morning with three kids, we had to leave the car there and arrange alternative travel (a cab all the way to Malpensa). Locauto advised us to do this too, and said we could then contact Customer Support for reimbursement. So we did.

But now, they're refusing to pay. Not only that, but they want to charge US for vehicle recovery and other post rental charges! Because as they claim, they 'filled it up with Ad Blue and it worked fine'. Er, we filled it with twice the amount of AdBlue as the computer recommended, and it didn't start. So they're lying, too - or the car's computer finally worked, maybe after a few days' rest, who knows. But it didn't work on the morning of our travel, and we followed all the procedures, with a mechanic to help us.

Still they are refusing to pay up, and hiding behind obscure articles on page 18 of the contract.

Shameful.

Prompt service, no issues during rental, all boxes ticked and peace of mind provided after a terrible experience with ecoVia rental company.
Cost was slightly expensive with all options added but that provided an extra safety net during the rental period.

Easy to locate both pick up and drop and locations were easy to find. Car was slightly different to what I ordered was fit for purpose. But French cars are weird why can't they do things normal like everywhere else

Good service, very convenient self check-in. Not pushy about extra insurance, which is great. Car was new and clean.

We rent Audi A5 for 8 days , there is no problem at all. The car was really new one. We may have unknowingly overpaid at first, but the difference was eventually refunded to our credit card automatically, without us having to do anything. In the end, we were charged the correct amount, so there was no overcharging or dishonesty.

Everything went well. Since the car rental from DiscoverCars, the check-in at the airport up to the check-out. We did a full insurance and no problems were raised.
