I planned to use Lola to monitor diet and exercise, However my first test also picked up high platelets and globulin. As they were just above normal range, The Lola GP mentioned them in their analysis and said that this is a sign of inflammation and that the trend should be monitored.
A couple of weeks later I started to develop some back pain that wasn't related to exercise and then some lower chest pain as well. I had a telephone conversation with my local GP and they at first thought it was most likely muscular in nature. They did suggest a visit to A&E if I felt chest pain as a worry but only a precaution , then I remembered about the above normal results. Suddenly they were much more insistent about the A&E visit. A&E cleared me of the normal acute illnesses but they did a CT Scan which picked up a mass. Two months later after more tests, biopsy etc, I'm on Chemo for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
So while I think this would have been picked up eventually, I believe the Lola blood test helped short cut the process as I wasn't minded to go to A&E until the GP's change of heart.

Excellent service. Slight hiccup to theform for the nurse/phlebotomist not actually been printed. Also, because of this I didn't realize the package I chose didn't include the thyroid blood tests!! So a little annoyed to say the least after paying so much.

Quite a lot of money for a blood test that no one turns up. Apparently a nurse was going to turn up in the morning. No one tunes up. Then in the evening. No one turned up. Don't waste your money and just ask your GP doctor as they're have a right to do blood tests.

From the begining Lola health have been very good. I found them on Google. Booking was very easy. The nurse came out and was nice, polite and early. I had confirmation emails and texts to update me where my blood tests were in the system. The results came back in around 4 days. I am very pleased with the service.

Great service, reliable and fast, with easy to understand results. Having a nurse taking your blood at home is the main selling point for me. Will be good to see more test that can’t be done on the NHS like HOMA IR, Hcy etc and be able to tailor what test you want

What a great service, I was after a blood test, without seeing a doctor or going to a private hospital, I ordered the test, it arrived the next day, a lovely lady came to take my bloods a few days later at home, I had the results in 3 days, it was easy to read and understand, plus a doctors note at the end to discuss any issues within the report. It has reassured me with some of my health issues, and given me an insight of things to keep an eye on.

Excellent service! The whole process was real easy. The Phlebotomist came to my home to draw blood at exactly the time I had booked, it was super professional.

The results were also quick and I added on a few specific biomarkers that I needed to track for my cholesterol.

Absolutely unbelievably efficient service. I posted my blood tests lunch time and the results were processed already by the following day in the afternoon. I love the text updates and the app is a brilliant idea. I will definitely be using this service again. Thanks very much!

The whole experience was excellent. The blood draw was painless and the letter from the doctor that came with the results was thoughtfully written. I'll be using Lola again next year for sure.

Having some ongoing neurological issues that so far haven’t been explained, so tried Lola and had some interesting results that are now with my doctor for next steps. I last had an NHS blood test two months ago and this was more in-depth as well as easier to understand—the in-app dashboard is really useful and the PDF that I could send on to my GP was helpful. A lovely nurse also came to my house to take my bloods and I didn’t feel a thing. Brilliant service. High price point, but I managed to find a discount code online and I was really in need of answers, so a worthwhile investment. Very impressed with Lola.

Very straightforward and easy to use service. Blood testing at home is convenient, it was easy to book, results came back quickly, great price.

Wanted a blood test to check all is well as I advance into decrepitude. Chose the Core 45 from Lola as a home visit was included for the blood sample and the price was competitive.

As I've recently retired I thought it might be useful to get a 70-bio marker blood test done given that these aren't available on the NHS. After selecting Lola, I can honestly say I have been nothing but impressed. My home appointment with the phlebotomist was straight forward to make and I got an appointment within a week at a time convenient to me. The phlebotomist arrived on time, was polite and efficient. He labelled each test tube and sent them off. That was Tuesday morning. I had all my results on Saturday morning in a convenient pdf format - well presented, a set of covering doctor's notes interpreting my results and a list of definitions of each of the 70 biomarkers. I sent a copy to my doctors. I followed up with Lola a couple of issues and received a prompt and comprehensive response. I've communicated with their help desk a few times with some queries and always received a prompt and satisfactory response, usually within hours! You have to judge companies not just on the selling process but also how well they deal with after-sales care and Lola have been exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will definitely be using them again.
