Still waiting on my refund
I had a very concerning experience trying to obtain a refund. I was told by email that I should not return the unused kits because the company’s policy had “recently changed” and, as medical devices, they no longer accept returns. However, this was not reflected on the website at the time, which clearly stated that unused kits could be returned within 60 days for a refund, minus the cost of return shipping at the customer’s expense.
Instead, I was told that my refund would be reduced by £5 per kit. This deduction was never disclosed on the website and is more than the cost of shipping the kits back, which made the charge feel arbitrary and unfair, almost as though the company was profiting from the return.
I was also instructed to open the unused kits and email them the kit codes so they could be voided, which understandably caused concern given the conflicting information I had already received. I was then assured that my refund would be processed within five working days.
It has now been nine working days, and I have still not received my refund.
Whilst I ultimately just want the refund I am owed, the entire process has felt confusing, inconsistent, and questionable. Clearer policies and timely refunds would go a long way toward improving trust.
I do not like leaving reviews like this, but I feel it is important to share my experience so others are aware.

Our return policy is clearly stated on the website. As the kits are medical devices, we do not ask customers to send them back once delivered. Instead, we ask for the kit codes so they can be voided in our system, and a partial refund is issued in line with the policy.
We also clearly state that refunds can take up to 10 working days to be processed, so it is still within the stated timeframe.

Ghosted: Impossible to Return Items
I tried to return a test within the set timeframe, and I still haven't heard back from LHC on how to do that. It's been 7 weeks. I can't return the product or get my money back without them providing confirmation. It's almost as if they don't want customers to be able to return items. They trap you by making it as complicated as possible to return items and then ignore you.

Our refund policy is clearly outlined on the website. As the kits are medical devices, we don’t ask customers to return them once delivered. Instead, we ask for the sample ID so the kit can be voided in our system, after which the refund is processed in line with the policy.

Great company
Used this company for a simple blood hcg test to see how my levels were doing and to check roughly how far along I am. The results came back pretty quick too. Great company and the report they gave with it is very informative.

No results received after numerous chaser emails sent
The kit arrived quickly and I sent the bloods back the day after. I left it 3 days and heard nothing so chased up to check they had received. They confirmed they had my bloods and I would hear something soon. That was a week ago and I’ve chased them since and keep getting fobbed off. Wouldn’t use them again.

I have used them on three separate occasions. The results were accurate and corroborated those from other sources. On one occasion, there was an issue with the report not being sent; however, their customer service was very responsive and promptly arranged a replacement kit.

Nice and cheep does what I needed took…
Nice and cheep does what I needed took a week from the day I sent my sample to receive which is a bit longer than other places I have been but all together a good place to go for bloods.

Cheaper than competitors but this comes with compromise
Significantly cheaper than competitors. Service has largely been ok. Big down side is that tests can only be reliably processed if sent Mon-Wed. This is problematic if you need to time tests eg. Female hormone tests or HCGs to track trends.

To ensure sample stability and accurate results, we currently recommend posting samples from Monday to Wednesday, as Royal Mail may deliver items posted later in the week on a Monday. By then, the sample may be outside its stability window and would need to be rejected. We appreciate that this can be limiting in some situations.
