"It was initially my GP who recommended that I see a Consultant in Spinal Pain & Pain Management and I am so glad that she did as I have never looked back.
I am not sure how Sasha Roberts, Clinic Manager, manages it but she responds to each and every email very promptly. When Hospital facilities are required Sasha’s organisational skills mean that you are not left wondering or worrying as she leaves you with no ‘loose ends’. I had been in pain for so long, and tried so many forms of analgesia, that I wasn’t sure that a ‘Pain Consultant’ would be able to offer me anything further. I was SO wrong!
I think that Dr Humble’s philosophy when treating me must be, ‘if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again’. I am so grateful to him. Drug changes … Steroid Injections … Nerve Root Blocks … Epidurals … Radio Frequency, Ablation of spinal nerves … I have gone from barely any mobility to moving much more freely. I know my spine will never be perfect but it is now so much easier. I also live in the knowledge that if my pain should return I am only an email away from help. Dr Humble himself is both considerate and gentle in manner. He understands the ‘urgent nature of pain’ and arranges, if possible, to see you in one of his Clinics on the day that you make contact. His explanation of pain, drugs and Procedures are clear to understand. Frequency of Appointments is determined by the patient which is very satisfactory.
Dr Humble’s Clinic Letters arrive soon after each appointment which I find very helpful.
I can’t recommend Dr Humble highly enough."

A combination of skill, kindness and compassion.

Patient, thoughtful, kind and compassionate, these are just a few of the words I would use to describe Dr Humble, who has, through his skill rendered me pain free following my road traffic accident.

Treatment of peripheral neuropathy

Treatment of peripheral neuropathy on all the surfaces of my feet brought on by chemotherapy. Very painful, disabling condition which medication had done little to improve. Careful evaluation by Dr Humble recommended Qutenza patches which so far appear quickly to have had a substantial effect with pain free days. Dr H could not have been more thorough in his diagnosis and treated me with great care and courtesy throughout. Administration by his team of Rachel and Sasha also first class
