Awful company

Awful company. Everything about it from the cheap quality material for double the cost and then some. I paid for quick delivery and got it about a month later. Costs a fortune to send things back and they try to haggle with you via email to try get you to not send it back as they’re concerned about the environment impact due to their warehouse being in south east Asia. Honestly they’re dreadful. I never leave reviews but I had to with these to try stop others making a mistake.

Same quality as cheap Chinese websites but triple the cost. To return two dresses cost me £28. They say they chose China as their return destination for ‘eco reasons’ - lol. Seriously avoid. Wish I’d read these reviews before buying.

It takes ages to arrive, the quality is AWFUL, you have to ship it back to China or get a 20% refund!

Bought middle of May and I’m still waiting for my money back, apparently my parcel is sitting in Chinese customs!

Absolutely avoid

Absolutely avoid, I wish I had found these reviews before purchasing as they all say the same thing. The website states no where that they will ship direct from CHINA and that returns are at the cost to the customer to ship to China. I knew I would have to pay to return but they make out that they are a UK company and that they use royal mail.

Dresses were crap, material was horrible. Took 17 days to arrive. I read all the policies and not once does it say the dresses are shipped direct from China. Customer service brush over this fact and are not apologetic at all that they boldly lie to their customers. 0 stars... AVOID. Total scam.

Cheap materials and not like the picture

The dress looks nothing like the picture they do not offer free returns and are based in China so the cost of return for the dress was £19 20 so not even worth the return. I would rate SHEIN higher. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute appalling company. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Their items of clothing are cheaply made and look nothing like the pictures on their website.
You can’t return your items unless you want to pay return fees to China which cost more than the item itself, so the company offer 20% refund and let you keep the cheap bit of material they call a dress.. what kind of company does this 🤯🤯.
When you complain they’ll offer you 30% as a goodwill gesture, but they still only refund you 20%. ABSOLUTE LIARS CONNING PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY!!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Customer service is also shocking!

AVOID. Scam

Purchased on the 19th and didn’t realise items were actually coming from China when Netherlands is their registered address on the website. Emailed several times about the Dania dress which looked NOTHING like the photos online. Complained and they refused to help and wanted me to pay for a Tracked return to CHINA?! insane. DO NOT BUY.

Do not buy

Do not buy. Website very misleading. Items are shipped from China and take 3-4 weeks to arrive.
Returns have to be sent back to China at your cost and refunds take a month
The dress on the website said it was cotton, did not feel like cotton and no label in the dress to say what the fabric was.

Total scam - avoid at all costs

I feel completely scammed by this company - which makes me so angry. I ordered a dress, believing from the website and comms that this was a UK/Europe company "London The Label". I realised once I received tracking details that the dress was being shipped from China - red flag!!! I knew it would be awful when it arrived - and its turned up today and I'm not wrong! Copy dress, nothing like the photos. Poor quality, very undersized, stitching all over the place, the dress doesn't even have a proper hem! I am so annoyed with myself for falling for this scam. Returns have to be sent to China - so impossible to get your money back for a terrible quality item. Offered 30% refund on the item to keep it. £11 refund for a £40 item, money down the drain literally. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! Shouldn't be allowed to trade

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! Completely miss sold an item to me. The item I received is completely different to the one advertised once I complained the dress online suddenly no longer sells on site. I contacted the complain only to be told that I can send it back but I have to pay to send it to China even though it is not my mistake it’s there’s. I refused to pay it and they said I could have a 30% refund and keep the awful dress. I have photo evidence of how awful and miss treated I have been. The dress is not even worth gifting as it’s such poor quality and nothing like I ordered. I had to settle for the partial refund but I will not use again.

We offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy for all orders within The United Kingdom “.

The lack of basic customer service is unacceptable for any brand, let alone one positioning itself as premium.

I initially ordered a pink dress, then accidentally ordered another pink one along with a blue version in a second order. I am returning both pink dresses and keeping the blue one.
It was always my intention to order both versions of the same dress and return the unwanted as it clearly states on the website

‼️”30 days return hassle-free”‼️

I’ve contacted customer service multiple times to ask for return instructions and have received nothing but silence or vague, unhelpful replies, such as :

- As the items were delivered correctly and this wasn’t due to an error on our part, I’m very sorry to say that we’re unable to provide a prepaid return label in this case, as per our policy.

!!!( the policy clearly stated on the website - 30 days returns hassle-free 🙄 and what a return has got to do anything with a correct delivery or an error on their part ?? - simple basic exchange of a service. )

- However, we’d love to make this easier for you: as a final gesture of goodwill, we can increase our offer to a 20% refund per order number, with no return required. You’re welcome to keep or gift the dresses — many of our customers find this to be a simpler and more sustainable option.

!!!Firstly, none of it is “easier”for the anyone other than YOU, the simple fact I have to email and argue a refund isn’t.
Second, I am welcome to keep the dresses - the ones I paid for, you mean ?? Or who even in their right mind as a customer service would suggest to “gift them” ?? These two are unreal 🙄

-As all items were delivered correctly and in good condition, we’d love to offer you a 15% refund per order number as a gesture of goodwill. You won’t need to go through the trouble of returning the dresses — you’re welcome to keep or gift them as you wish.
!!! The trouble of returning ?? Since when it’s trouble returning an item in 2025 ??

-May we kindly ask the reason for the return? This helps us improve our products and services.
Once we have this information, we’ll provide you with the next steps for the return process.

There has been no clear return process communicated, no follow-up, and no accountability.

At this point, it feels like they are deliberately avoiding handling returns, which is completely unacceptable. For a brand charging premium prices, the service is shockingly poor and unprofessional.

Their last communication email was :

- After reviewing the case fully, we’re able to offer a final goodwill refund of 30% per order number, with no return required — you may keep the item.

While we understand you’d prefer a full refund, we hope you’ll consider this solution as a way to avoid the hassle and cost of returning the item, and still receive a fair partial reimbursement.

FAKE COPY DRESSES

SCAM..Avoid at all costs..FAKE COPY dresses from China!
The item you receive is nothing like the image on the website, it doesn’t even have a label. Awful, cheap, unlined fabric.
This is the response you get when you complain:

Thanks so much for your email! We’re really sorry to hear that the item you ordered didn’t meet your expectations. We totally understand how frustrating that can be, and of course, you can exchange or return it with no problem. You’ve got 30 days from when you received the item to start the process.
Just a heads-up: as mentioned on our website, we don’t offer free return shipping. Also, we don’t have a warehouse in Europe; all returns go to our central warehouse in China. We chose this setup for environmental reasons, as it's located near our factory.
You’ll find the return form here.

A few things to keep in mind for a refund:
Please send us an email with a photo of the completed return form, a photo of the package contents, and the tracking information.
As mentioned in our return policy, you’re responsible for the return shipping costs, including any customs fees.
We’ll issue a refund once we receive your package and confirm the items are in good condition.

AVOID

Placed an order with various sizes with the intention of returning the ones that didn't suit, Website states return and refunds within 30days. A local company with sisters who care about what they sell and the environment.

When package arrived realized all the clothes had come from China and were of poor quality. Immediately started the process of refunding with the company. Exchanged emails with customer services who straight away offered me a 20% refund to keep the clothes and maybe regift them!. Declined and went to the post office to process the return to be told it would cost me £75 to return the clothes with no guarantee that they would be received at the other end. When this was relayed back to London Label that they had basically conned me out of being able to return my clothes they stated they were a sustainable company that cared about the environment and returns were against this ethos. Total garbage. You import clothes from China! Doesn't make any sense, Its basically Temu. Total con, they then offered me a 30% refund which accepted . Lesson learnt the hard way do not order from this company. You can not return the clothes and get a full refund.

Ships all the way from China and expensive return policy!

I’m really disappointed with my experience ordering from London The Label. I ordered a dress expecting decent quality, but it arrived looking incredibly cheap and poorly made. Nowhere during checkout did it make clear that the dress was being shipped all the way from China — something I would have considered before buying.

When I tried to return it, I found out that they don’t cover return shipping unless the item is faulty — and returns have to be sent back to China at your own cost. For me, that meant paying so much of the price of the original item just to return it, including the need to track the parcel internationally. It feels like they’re making returns intentionally difficult and expensive to discourage people from sending things back.

I feel really misled by the branding and the lack of transparency. I would not recommend ordering from this company, and I wish I’d looked into it more before buying.

Cheap quality and extortionate prices to return items to china.. they do a great job of miss leading you into thinking returns are easy and free. Well, they are not.
