Simply one of the best apps and…

Simply one of the best apps and companies. They ask you to turn down and save and if you do you get rewarded so not only saving energy but also money. The app is brilliant-so easy to track your energy usage. Highly recommend.

Simply the best new app my…

This is simply the best new app on my phone that I have found all year. Once you match your smart meter, you can look at your energy use in really useful ways, and I discovered that you can even enter your tracker rate - well, an average tracker for the month and keep track faster than the smart meter!

Loving Loop

Love it. I can closely monitor my energy usage very easily by kwh or £ so I can see exactly what it is costing me daily as well as weekly and monthly. It may take a few days to take them to get your smart meters connected tho. One great bonus is the ability to get in on the Demand Flexibilty Service with the National Grid where you turn down your electric consumption for an hour or two on random days and earn money back for doing so. Loop calls theirs the Turn down and Save feature (you can only sign up with one company tho) I am very impressed with this UK app, thus far no problems.

Hi John and thanks for the feedback. Normally we request data from your meter every three hours, but the smart meter network operator (the DCC) is currently throttling this so it may be less frequent.

Rest assured, our calculations do indeed include standing charge - you can read more about it here: https://kb.loop.homes/how-are-the-energy-costs-shown-in-the-app-calculated

In terms of the amount of data we show, your smart meter stores up to 13 months of data. When you join Loop we will pull in all the available data and then store all new data from that point on. If your meter was replaced, we can only access data from the point the new meter was installed. Hopefully you understand that it's not our network so this type of thing is beyond our control.

Excellent in helping me save A LOT of money

This company are extremely welcome addition to my apps I have on my mobile.
I've been using Loop for a Very long time now and would recommend this to everyone who is looking to save money on electric and Gas this winter.
Very helpful tips and advice and guidance on where to start reducing you energy usage, very informative, one little issue is my gas still only ever gets part information. The electric side of it I find Is pretty floorless.
I like the save events they do as well, get paid to reduce you electric usage... Yes please.

An amazingly useful app

An amazingly useful app. I can closely monitor my gas and electricity usage from my mobile, even whilst abroad.
You don't need to have WiFi either for the system to work.
I got regular emails from the loop team during set-up to let me know how they were progressing.
If you are concerned about energy usage Loop is a must have.
Well done Loop keep up the great work!

Small is Beautiful = Loop Homes

Loop presents "real time" energy consumption data meaningfully. I have asked a polite but positive question namely if Loop Homes can extend their data presentation to display real time Electricity and Gas SMART meter readings.
Please keep up the excellent work.

Great App

Great App, very accurate, Great accompaniment to the smart meter. If you’ve got a heat pump can help to determine how to utilise it. Monitor on the go, wouldn’t be without it now I’ve used it.

Very informative app

Very accurate information on energy usage.
Useful tips on saving energy. Still acquainting myself with the app and learning something new everyday. Would highly recommend using loop.

Great app

Great app. Perfect for checking that our new smart meters were connected and working, hourly readings so easy to see how usage changes through the day, wee, month, year.
Great little tips on phantom usage etc.

Lovely app with unique features

Really nice app brought by a really nice team. I don't know if any other app lets you monitor your historical usage *before* your sign-up date - which is quite handy: my interest in monitoring my usage was triggered when I noticed I used quite a lot of energy during a week, and I could then sign-up and analyse it.

Early Days

Early Days. The Loop website and app has lots and lots of useful advice. Well worth looking at if you are a PV or battery store newbie.
Their tech guys are working hard to expand the benefits of power sharing and I expect a great deal more in the future. I'm sticking with them for now.

Very Enlightening

Great little app giving you all the information you need to monitor your energy.
Very easy to pair with the meters.
Only small niggle could not find the exact electricity tariff within the app.
Having contacted Loop that has now been sorted.

I was recommended this app by an edf…

I was recommended this app by an edf customer services rep to hook up to my new smart meters. Once downloaded and set up, it picked up smart meter data within a few hours. App easy to use and navigate with lots of useful info and tips on saving energy. All good so far.
