Poor service throughout
On the 24th May 2024 I purchased a Tom Ford Denim Jacket order number - T0011396628 at a cost of £615.00GBP and paid £16.00GBP for postage so a total of £631.00GBP paid, I wore the jacket for the first time on the Evening of the 16th June 2024 for a special occasion, on that occasion the button fell off on the left sleeve (it was obviously a fault on the jacket as I’d only wore it to travel in a car to my sons house and took it off at my sons house to hang up - so normal wear) when I got home to hang the jacket back on its hanger I saw the button had come off so I emailed LUISAVIAROMA on the 19th June 2024 (earliest opportunity for me) to let them know this and sent photos as evidence, LUISAVIAROMA did email back and apologised and said they’d contact Tom Ford direct and would take action from there, I waited but with no response so sent LUISAVIAROMA a gentle reminder on the 26th June as I’d heard nothing so was obviously concerned about this, a reply did come back 2 days later and LUISAVIAROMA apologised and agreed to repairing the jacket in which I was happy with initially so arranged to get the Tom Ford Denim jacket sent back to LUISAVIAROMA via DHL, it was received back at LUISAVIAROMA on the 2nd July 2024 (I received an email from LUISAVIAROMA on the 10th July 2024 to confirm this - 8 days later!!) why 8 days ?? It is now the 30th July 2024 and I’ve heard nothing so in short LUISAVIAROMA still have my jacket and my £631.00, I feel this is totally unacceptable for me to still be waiting for a button to be put back on 4 weeks later, I have no alternative now to apply to trading standards and require a full refund, I have emailed customer services twice in the last 72 hours with no response (only a generated response) I find this totally unacceptable and lost all confidence in their customer service, the least LUISAVIAROMA could have done is offered me a full refund Initially as the jacket was very expensive and also could have been in contact with me regularly to keep me updated so because LUISAVIAROMA have not I will now require a full refund paid back to me as soon as possible, if customer services at LUISAVIAROMA could contact me as soon as possible to arrange this please, If i get no response by Friday 2nd August then I will send my complaint to trading standards as I have all the evidence of emails exchanged, Photos of the faulty jacket and the lengthy time contact has been made by LUISAVIAROMA the last update was 10th July 2024 and now it’s the 30th July and nothing since
