Breach of guidelines
So I have just built myself a home bar…
So I have just built myself a home bar and needed a keg of guinness for Christmas. I have left tit a little late and was a little worried I would not get one in time, I found love beer while looking and like the look of the prices I ordered on the 16th just before lunch and today the 17th its arrived safe. I ordered a keg of guinness, after reading the reviews I was a little concerned as I hadn't heard anything about my order after a few days. I sent an email and they phoned me straight away promising the keg would arrive on the Friday. The keg did arrive on the Friday as promised. Communication a little hit and miss due to busy period of the year but they did follow up to make sure I got the keg. Overall pleasant experience and item arrived as promised in the time frame stipulated. Highly recommend.

Delivery timescales are pathetic! Make it up as they go along. If you want to wait over a month to receive a refund then come here !!!! They must pay for good reviews because I don’t see, from my experience, how they get them. Disgusting.

Great service from Love Beer at a great price and the equipment worked mostly very well.
Not quite so sure about the delivery and collection as now handled by a courier (who delivered to the wrong address initially) and apparently we have to arrange collection of the 8 kegs ourselves so we’ll see how that goes.

I had to chase up my order
I had to chase up my order, to be told that it was 5 to 10 working days and would get an email the day before the order was due i had to chase for a delivery date again, and i was told that there was a delay and it would be delivered to me on Friday 3 days later that actual, this was not acceptable in my books has a first customer.

Our delivery terms explain that standard shipping can take up to 10 working days from dispatch, but in your case there was an additional delay due to courier scheduling, which meant you didn’t get a confirmed delivery date until later than promised. That’s not the smooth, proactive communication we want new customers to receive, and I apologise for the frustration this caused.
While courier delays are unfortunately outside of our direct control, keeping you informed is very much our responsibility. We’ll be reviewing our tracking and update process to make sure customers don’t have to chase for answers in future.

Item showed "in stock" it wasn't!
Item showed "in stock" on website, placed order on 23rd July. On 31st July emailed as I couldn't recall when the delivery was due and was told it was due on the 6th August. On 5th August I get told it is out of stock and will get a refund.
Why does it take 2 weeks to know it is not in stock?
An earlier notification would have been good.

We were initially assured that stock would arrive in time, but when it became clear it wouldn’t, we made the decision to issue refunds rather than risk further delays.

Beware if ordering for a specific date.
I placed an order on the 20th July for delivery within 5 to 10 days. I am now at the 11th day and still no delivery.
I had email correspondence with them last week and they were helpful. I emailed again today and then received correspondence to say that my order had been picked!
Not sure when it will arrive but it will be at least 12 days with no correspondence, had I not got in touch with them.
Why ask customers to choose a delivery timescale and then do not manage to get it out on time.
I should have learned my lesson. My last order was cancelled on me and a refund provided.
Since posting this, I have received a phone call from the MD of Love Beer. He has resolved all of my issues and completed the order.

Fantasic company
Fantasic company. Ordered a few times now for our home bar. I needed the kegs pretty quickly and Kershia ensured everything was delivered on time. There was a slight issue with the keg coupler being wrong (keg labelled wrongly) and I had to go out and buy a new coupler. Kershia kindly refunded me, the price of the coupler, for the mistake.
This is the difference between a great company and a poor company, great companies accept mistakes happen and rectify. Will be purchasing again for Christmas :-)
