Disappointed with Love Holidays

Disappointed with Love Holidays. I booked a package holiday and only received the hotel check-in details 2 days before travel, discovering a 14-hour wait after an overnight flight before getting my room. I contacted Love Holidays for support, but was simply told to contact the hotel myself. I expected better ownership and customer service from the company organising my holiday.

Our flight was cancelled and you were…

Our flight was cancelled and you were no help at all even though we were told by easyjet that you should have helped us. I have already rebooked for next year with you! It goes without saying this will be getting cancelled.

I'm sorry to hear about any disappointment caused by your flights being cancelled. Regrettably any schedule changes or cancelled flights are out of our control and solely at the airlines' discretion. As easyJet are classed as a self-managed airline, we use your personal details to book flights directly with them. This means that all further correspondence from easyJet will be sent to you directly, including any cancellations.

As we don't have access to your easyJet flights, we'd be unaware of any flight cancellations sent over to your email address unless you inform us of these. In this instance I can't see any previous contact regarding this booking. As a gesture of goodwill I've removed any amendment fees you've been charged for updating your booking your via Manage My Booking portal. This is a total of £75.00 that will be deducted from your remaining balance.

Always quick easy booking

Always quick, easy hassle free booking when I use loveholidays. Easy to add extras, cancel if needed. Get choice for payment installments and if in the fortune position to pay earlier then straightforward to do so. All documents available in booking section

Atrocious customer care

Firstly we accidentally booked the wrong location due to incorrect information on love holidays website. So with over a year before departure we were told couldn’t cancel due to we wouldn’t receive flight fees back.so after re looking at options which were limited we rebooked a different resort. The transfers from the airport were appalling and not booked clearly with the transfer company! The return transfer we cancelled however told we wouldn’t get money. so after checking with tlt that we could upgrade to private but needed to go through loveholidays, after several attempts to discuss this with loveholidays my wife was spoken to by an abrupt and rude representative who blatantly lied saying not able to upgrade. Then refused to send confirmation that return transfer was cancelled. Surprise surprise transfer arrived at 2 hours before we needed to leave and said loveholidays had failed to cancel.

Will never book with them again

Booked with Love Holidays to stay at Amour Holiday Resort in Corfu, had an awful experience. Customer service from Love Holidays was poor with mixed messages being sent, I wanted to move hotels due to the disgraceful hotel and love holidays said they had to review counter photos from the manager. I contacted everyday and recieved different responses each time.

Complaint was not resolved till I returned, they offered £100 compensation which they quickly withdrew as I had returned home and they said I would have to resubmit, still waiting for the outcome of my second complaint which has also felt very much like a gaslighting experience, do not communicate clearly and drag things out, will not book again. Not holding out hope for an actual resolution following my experience so far, I have repeatedly asked for a senior member of staff to contact me and they are unwilling to do so.
