I had a fantastic experience at LTL Language School. The program is well-structured, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s clear the team genuinely cares about helping students progress. A special mention goes to my teacher Dayoung, who made all the difference. She combines deep knowledge of Korean with patience, clarity, and just the right amount of challenge to push you forward.

I spent 3 weeks with LTL in Beijing and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the very beginning. The teachers are not only professional and patient, but also genuinely kind and supportive, always ready to help you improve your Chinese step by step. I especially appreciated how adaptable and friendly my teacher Lilia was in class.

A special thank you to Linda Liu, the school director, who was always available and incredibly kind. She really made everyone feel at home.

Another highlight was the international student community: most of the people I met were open-minded, respectful, and came from all over the world. It was easy to connect with others and share not only learning moments, but also life experiences in Beijing.

Overall, I highly recommend LTL if you’re looking for a meaningful and human-centered way to improve your Chinese in China.

The one on one class was great because you are able to really focus on what you wanna learn. Besides that if you have any problems with certain things the teachers are always willing to help you out. 👍

The school is well structured, focusing not only on language learning but also on building a real community. Students come from all over the world and even in a short time, you create connections through group lunches, cultural activities, karaoke nights, and even a night bus tour of Seoul. A shoutout to Lio for organizing the activities!

The Director, 현영, was incredibly supportive, and my teacher, 카일, made every class fun and engaging with language and culture tips that helped me so much during my solo stay in Seoul.

I left with better Korean skills and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend LTL Korea!

I can't say enough how my confidence has grown since starting lessons with LTL School in Korea.

I have never had lessons before and have only self studied Korean so my speaking was very lacking and I was very shy.

Teacher Dayoung (다영 선생님) is an incredible teacher, she is so kind and encouraging. She is very easy to talk to and has created a wonderful classroom environment.

It is a low pressure class but everyone is encouraged to speak which is exactly the type of environment I need.

I am so grateful to have Dayoung as my teacher and I am very excited to continue my lessons and improve my Korean even more.

LTL Language Chengdu exceeded my expectations! Although I only had two weeks in Chengdu, my Chinese improved noticeably in that short time. I studied four hours a day—it was intense, but incredibly rewarding.

Teacher Ying was phenomenal. Her teaching style fit me perfectly and genuinely helped me progress. Beyond that, she’s a wonderful person—kind, thoughtful, and flexible. She even adjusted her schedule to accommodate my travel plans, which meant a lot. I think the world of her.

Mandy, the Director of Studies, was always available and made everything run smoothly. She’s warm, organized, and responsive—you can tell her leadership is a big reason the Chengdu school operates so well.

The entire staff was fantastic. I enjoyed spending time with them and even had the chance to meet LTL team members from Beijing and Tokyo, which added to the richness of the experience.

I highly recommend LTL Chengdu to anyone serious about improving their Mandarin. I’d love to return and do it all again!

I recently finished taking online classes with Fab (Zhipeng) through LTL, and I had an excellent time. He was amazingly patient with me, helping me to improve my pronunciation in a way that, even after many years of Mandarin study, I had not yet achieved. I highly recommend.

A fantastic learning experience at LTL Beihai

I recently completed a two-week summer study program at LTL Beihai, where I took one-on-one Mandarin classes for four hours a day with a native Chinese teacher. The lessons were engaging, well-structured, and helped me review the HSK5 curriculum in a clear and effective way.

Everyone at the school was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease from day one. They also arranged airport taxi transfers for me (at my expense), both upon arrival and departure, which made the logistics very smooth.

The apartment they selected for me was conveniently located near the school and hosted by a lovely local couple. They were warm, helpful, and gave me great advice for navigating daily life in China.

Compared to metropolitan cities like Shanghai or Beijing, Beihai offers a different kind of experience. It’s a quieter, more local environment that I feel is especially suited to learners who already have some familiarity with the Chinese language and culture. Being there gave me the chance to explore aspects of everyday life that I might not have encountered in larger cities.

Overall, it was a meaningful and enriching experience that supported both my language learning and cultural immersion.

I would like to thank you for the excellent training i received at your language institute. The class was simulating, and the teatcher Sarah Liu, her patience, support, and guidance have helped me tremenously. She is an exeptional teacher, and i am lucky to have had her as my instructor.

I recently undertook a 6 week group class at LTL and found it to be a really worthwhile experience. Having no prior experience studying Chinese (outside of Duolingo but I found that I had flown past that in a week of study) I find I am in a position to order, have slight conversation and understand some really useful concepts especially for my time in Taiwan.

Inside the classroom this was helped by my teachers Pinwei, Thomas, Sisi and Issa as well as my fellow classmates. Not only were the teachers really patient throughout but they each had a unique take on the class which complemented my experience and worked well between each other. All of them did their best and made my classes memorable. My classmates were a joy to study alongside and we were even able to have a few laughs along the way.

Outside of the classroom, I was fortunate enough to go to many after class lunches which gave me the chance to connect with my peers and helped foster a great community with students outside of my assigned group. We were fortunate to have the chance to also go to different events like movies, KTV, board game nights and various other activities. Thank you to Riona and Alin for organising and helping at these events! I'd also like to thank Greta for her help in supporting my enrolment, it was incredibly helpful!

Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend the group classes if you want to learn mandarin, you will be in for a good time.

I went to Seoul to learn Korean and in under a month my skills improved significantly. My teacher - Kyle - focused on speaking without making it stressful experience (which is super important to me) so now I can use my Korean more comfortably.
Everyone in administration is eager to help with everything and anything.
Made some friends on the way as well.
It was an amazing experience and I will be back in the future.
If you consider learning Korean in Korea with native speakers, you should definitely check this place out

The Ltl school is really a great school for people to learn Chinese, their learning methods are very efficient to learn fast, basic words and sentences for common life. The ambience with the others students was great, and the teachers where very kind while giving good Chinese lessons. The school location is also easily accessible by metro and some restaurants and supermarkets can be found below the school’s building. I was in the teenage group. every afternoon there were organised visits to all the major tourist sites in and around Beijing, as well as other cultural activities. It was very well organised, well supervised and very interesting. The host family was lovely, very pleasant, and I was very well looked after. What's more, even though they spoke English, discussions were often in Chinese, which allowed me to improve my level even further.
It was a very nice experience in this school, I really recommend it.

I and my sister had studied 中文 at LTL 成都 for 5 weeks and had a great time! I came to 成都 from having close to zero Chinese knowledge to passing HSK 2 on the last day!

I had an amazing time learning with my Chinese teacher, Ying 老师. She was very energetic and caring. She always tried her best to answer and clarify whenever I had questions relating to Chinese grammar, vocabulary, etc. She is very knowlegable about Chengdu and knows lots about tourist locations, restaurants, etc.

LTL Chengdu is located at a very convenient location, only a few minutes of walking distance to IFS, Chengdu's city center. The building which LTL Chengdu is located at is also really nice, it has a few coffee shops, study areas, a gym and also located near several milktea shops, restaurants and convenice stores.

Every Thursday evening, there will be a social gathering event happening at LTL Chendu. It's a great time to socialize with other Chinese learners and teachers. During my time at LTL Chengdu, there weren't a lot of events to participate in. But I got to meet with other Chinese learners from all around the world with varying Chinese skill levels. It was very interesting to know each others' Chinese learning experiences and their own native language, culture.

Overall, LTL Chengdu is a great place to learn Chinese, to meet with other international learners and has lots of flexibility for you to explore Chengdu.

LTL was an amazing experience, and I recommend it for anyone serious about learning Korean! I participated in group and 1-on-1 classes, so I had about 7 hours of class a day. With LTL, the improvements in my Korean skills very very positive and noticeable! My teacher, Chae Yunjeong, is a wonderful teacher and person. She made language learning fun, engaging, and entertaining! I highly recommend her. Also, anyone considering LTL should also consider staying with a host family. For me, it was an essential part of my experience with LTL, and also played a large role in my language improvement. Overall, I highly recommend LTL!

Based on my experience, LTL language school is an excellent school with top quality personal tuition. I attended the Beijing branch of the school for two weeks from end July to early August 2025. My level is upper intermediate (currently preparing for HSK5) and I had personal tuition with Alice four hours a day. Alice was outstanding, and I made significant progress. In addition to the in class activities, we also did some outings together , such as going to a market. This provided a great opportunity to practice mandarin in "real life" settings. The school was also helpful with organising tourist activities such as trips to the Great Wall. In summary, only positive to say.

I have sent my kids to the LTL immersion program in Chengde, and it was really amazing. From the initial discussion to develop the program, choosing Chengde, to the selection of the host family and Chinese teacher, the overall stay, everything was well organised. TLT organizers have tried their best to meet my requirements, always with a smile. The program director and the hoat families have been really kind and caring for my kids, making their stay unforgettable. Spending time in Chengde was also a good decision, as it was total immersion, enabling my kids to improve on their Mandarin, instead of relying on English. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

Great support, teachers didatics are perfect, I got what I expected

I had a great time at LTL Beijing and Chengdu. I especially enjoyed the relaxed athmosphere in Chengdu and the friendly and helpful teams. My teacher Unicorn was amazing and helped me learn a lot in a short time!🫶
