Horrible service
Unfortunately I need to take the Luas every day to go to work. The worst public transport of all.
I live in town and work in citywest. I get the Luas in cheeverstown(9:53pm) and change in Belgard to get another one heading to the point. However, many times it doesn't shows up and I have to wait an extra 19 minutes for the next one.
The sits are so small, there isn't enough space for you to rest your legs... it has been a horrible experience. Those workers who need to commute every day during the night time are left behind. I feel impotent. Everything is so expensive in this country and the quality is very poor. It isn't a first world service at all. Ireland would be lost if there wasn't The European Union (EU) :(
My overall review is 1 to the service provided.

Again waiting at the red cow for a driver to come out of the office, waiting for nearly 10 minutes and the happens everyday. These people are getting paid to sit down and sip tea and let the consumer wait and then sit down again while driving the tram, and I would ask who is running this company? Must be the worst transport system in Europe, and to think of the money that was spent on it , only in Ireland and only the Irish would put up with it,

This morning I locked myself out of car and while trying to desperately get a locksmith 3 luas staff came to my rescue and they managed to unlock my car. I was impressed by their team work and proactive approach to help someone in need during their morning break. Thank u so much!!!
Some luas officer not doing their job.
Daily anti social behaviour and incompetent security staff!
I witness terrible anti social behaviour on the red LUAS line daily.
I always pay my fare but get checked most times.
Alcohol and drug users are never checked!
Ticket checkers will pretend they have been checked or step off at the next stop.
THE MOST TERRIBLE THING I WITNESSED WAS AN ELDERLY MAN BEING TOLD BY ANTISOCIAL TEENS THAT THEY WOULD KICK THE WALKING STICK FROM UNDER HIM WHILE GETTING OFF THE LUAS. 3!!!! LUAS SECURITY GUARDS AT HEUSTON STATION JUST WATCHED THIS HAPPEN AND LET THE GROUP OF TEENS ON THE LUAS TO TERRORISE PASSENGERS ESPECIALLY ANOTHER MAN SITTING ACCROSS FROM ME.
I NEVER FEEL SAFE ON THE LUAS!
ON A SEPARATE OCCASION,
WHEN HANDING OUT SOME LEAFLETS FOR MUSIC LESSONS NEAR A LUAS STATION, A SECURITY GUARD WAS SO AGGRESSIVE AND THREATENING AND DID NOT EVEN TRY TO COMPREHEND THE SITUATION. SURELY THEY SHOULD BE KEEPING PEOPLE SAFE AND NOT FEEL IN DANGER!
A human approach
Great service. Great staff. They really are one of the rare few business that care about their customers, and still have that human approach. This can clearly be seen and felt every time you approach member of the staff.
Thank you for your excellent service over the years.
