I became a client over 25 years ago, working directly with Mary to let my property, prior to a move overseas. It was the best decision. Throughout those years, as tenants come and go, Mary's professionalism, knowledge of the business and local market has ensured timely letting and a well managed process, all delivered by the excellent management team. I recently decided to sell and the Luff and Wilkin team delivered again. From kicking off the process to the final sale in just a few months, the process was seamless with clear communication at each step, feedback after showings and guidance up to exchange and through completion. I have been using Luffs for over 16 years now , they were my 3rd lot of agents .
I felt very let down by my first two property agents who did not support me and had l had lots of problems with past tenants .
I decided to give Luffs a go but was a bit hesitant because of past experiences.

I have had various tenants with luffs and if l hit a problem , between us we managed to sort the problems out .
Luffs do most of the work for me as l am fully managed these days ,
They do the advertising, the photos, the finding and checking on any new tenants , advising on the rental price and lots more .
Including supporting me.
Understanding the kind of tenants l would like in my property which is extremely important to me .
This time l had a few personal issues going on at the same time and they were able to advise me on lots of things to help take some of the stress out of it .

There are a few things that stand out with this company , the staff all have their own departments to take care of, so it makes it easier to contact that particular department , also knowing you won’t get lost in the system when you deal with one person. .

I have had contact with several people in luffs ,
I have to thank them all in helping me sort some of the problems we hit along the way .
There was one problem that l wasn’t happy with the outcome and Jon took it upon himself to help sort it .

A big thank you goes to Jon , you have been at the end of the phone when things got tough !
It was a pleasure to meet you the other week.

If you are looking to rent out your property l would definitely consider Luffs .
Letting these days can be a nightmare with all the new regulations changing all the time, but luffs have updated me as and when it was needed.

We were landlords of a flat that Luff & Wilkin managed for us. On deciding to sell it, the sales team then liaised with all parties to ensure the property was ready for sale. They secured a sale for us in record time (thank you David!) and the process, thereafter, was smooth sailing, I believe mainly due to Mary being so proactive. They even helped with things that really were not theirs to do so I feel they went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend this company, both as a letting agent and for sales!

Just completed the sale of our property with Luff and Wilkin. We had many hurdles to overcome along the way, but Mary was really on it all. She’s both professional and friendly, and kept us going with her determination and good humour!

We had no problems with the purchase of our new home and everyone we dealt with at Luff and Wilkins were helpful and professional. Moving house is always a stressful time, but we also had to move our large pond fish. Mary in particular was helpful in liaising with the seller to allow us to set up things in advance of moving day.

Buying and selling a house can be stressful, but Mary from Luff and Wilkin made it an absolute breeze. While our buyers’ solicitor and even our own estate agent were dragging their feet, Mary stepped in without hesitation. She picked up the phone, reached out directly, and got everything moving like magic.

We had Luff and Wilkin as our estate agent for buying & selling our properties which was exchanged in Mar 2025. Everyone who we engaged with were timely, available & shared our desire to complete which was reassuring. We mainly dealt with Steve & Mary and without them, I don't believe we would have completed the move on time. Mary especially was instrumental in getting in touch with all the solicitors, buyers & sellers involved in the chain and was always on the case. We have since recommended Luff and Wilkin to many of our friends in the neighbourhood and I'm sure it'll also be our first point of call should we decide to do anything that involves buying or selling a property.
