The unicorn of builders
I’ve done various building works on my homes over the last 10 years and, frankly, I’ve been stung every time—whether it was hidden costs, underwhelming finishes, or exhausting communication. We had been planning our space for four years but just never found the right contractor until Luke London was recommended to us by our architect. From the moment Lukasz arrived to survey for the quotation, we knew we had finally found a good one. He didn’t just glance at the space; he asked all the right questions and checked everything from the electrics and boiler to the specifics of the tiling and paint. That level of thoroughness was a huge relief, and they did not disappoint.
What really set them apart was their attitude when things changed. Midway through the build, I decided to change the roof style to have exposed beams. Even though this was a significant shift, nothing was ever too much trouble. Everything was approached with a "possible and positive" mindset, which makes such a difference during a build. I never felt like I was nagging, even though it was likely an inconvenience for them.
Other than a few of our own upgrades like the roof, what we were quoted is what we paid—no unexpected costs or hidden surprises. The communication from Natalia and Luke was consistent, fair, and incredibly thoughtful. I am extremely fussy and my standards are very high, yet they finished every single detail to absolute perfection. I honestly wish I could gatekeep this company to ensure they’re available for my next project, but they deserve every bit of credit for all the work and detail they put into their work. You know you’ve found a unicorn builder when you find yourself jumping to recommend them to everyone you know. I just hope they don’t grow too big before I can get them back for my next job!
