Lumo started with a simple frustration: why is it still so complicated to get a local SIM when you travel? Between hunting down a kiosk at the airport, fumbling with tiny plastic cards, and deciphering local carrier plans in a language you don't speak, it shouldn't be this hard. We built Lumo to make that whole experience disappear. With Lumo, you buy a travel eSIM online before you even pack your bags. A few taps to install it, and you're already set up - no roaming fees, no SIM swaps, no unpleasant surprises on your bill when you get home. Just your phone, working the way it should, wherever you are. We cover 160+ destinations across every continent, with plans ranging from single-country to regional coverage across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and more. Our network runs on partnerships with 70+ established carriers, so whether you're in Tokyo, rural Portugal, or somewhere in between, you're getting real 4G/5G speeds - not a degraded "international" connection. If something goes wrong or you're not sure what plan to pick, we're here to help. Real answers, not just a FAQ page. We're a small team that travels a lot and genuinely uses what we build. That probably shows in the product - and we hope it shows in the experience too.

Fast setup and cheap, reliable service

Used it twice this year in Canada - first time when my parents came to Canada for a few weeks - they only needed internet, so it's much cheaper and easier to setup (it was like 3-4 minutes with Apple Pay) than buying something from a local carrier. And the second time when I ran out of gigabytes myself (I have a local Canadian number) - it was cheaper to use lumo.to for the rest of my billing period than to buy additional internet package from my current carrier.
Great service, vast variety of packages and very easy to setup.
